Great addition to Annapolis! Nice combo of the best parts of Neapolitan and NY styles. Try the vodka pepperoni, very tasty!

Title: KnockoVin 909 is one of those rare spots that absolutely lives up to the hype. Tucked into a…read moreconverted bungalow in Eastport, it feels more like a friend's cozy cottage than a typical restaurant, with a warm, lived‑in vibe that fits Annapolis perfectly. The food is the star: creative farm‑to‑table plates and some of the best brick‑oven pizzas anywhere, with toppings that go way beyond the usual (think spicy soppressata, wild boar meatballs, and seasonal veggies that actually taste fresh). The salads and small plates are just as strong, so it's easy to build a table full of things to share. The wine list is thoughtful and fairly priced, with interesting bottles plus solid by‑the‑glass options, and staff who clearly know their stuff and enjoy guiding you to something you'll like. Service is friendly, efficient, and unfussy, even when the place is slammed. Be ready for a wait--there's usually a line before they open and they don't take reservations, but the experience is worth a little planning ahead. Between the food, wine, and atmosphere, Vin 909 is an easy go‑to for date night, out‑of‑town guests, or anytime you want a meal that feels special without being formal.

When I asked if they had burgers, he tapped the menu and said, "We are a pizza spot!!!" which immediately set the tone. We decided to stay anyway, but things didn't improve. My husband ordered the braised short ribs, not realizing it came with a spicy sauce. When we brought it up, Bobby told us if it was remade, we'd be charged for both orders. No effort to check with the kitchen or involve a manager -- just a flat no. Then my husband ordered an Old Forester 1924, but was given the 1920 instead. The 1924 is highly allocated and hard to find. when he saw they had it, he really wanted to taste it. When we pointed it out, Bobby just said, "Oh, okay," and never corrected the drink or offered a solution. The only bright spot was the bartender, who was friendly and offered him a taste of the 1924; that was the only moment of good service all night. Really disappointing experience, especially for a birthday celebration. 1 star only because of the bartender.

We go there a ton and we do like their pizza. We also go to Mod in a pinch, but i have been craving some real pizza I of course checked yelp to find any place remotely close to us and I found Angelina's. I was sold with her amazing replies to the misguided idiots who think this pizza place is anything less than amazing. I had been CRAVING a decent pizza. It's been since my last trip out of state since I've had anything remotely like traditional, cheesy, crunchy, savory goodness. After work on a Friday, my husband and I trekked over to Mayo. We wanted to check out the selection of desserts and settled on the yummy looking cannoli and went back out to our car to phone in our order. The place smells amazing. It's a legit pizza place and everything I was expecting. We waited an acceptable amount of time and went in for our pizza. The car smelled so good on our 40 min drive back home. We got home and honestly no one waited to reheat the pizza. We all just dove into the enormous, cheesy, deliciousness we had been waiting so long for. I was not disappointed. We have put Angelina's on our list of places to go. Worth the drive. Worth the wait. Worth it.

Look at the older pictures of pizza in this listing. It used to be thin crust NY style pizza that you could buy by the slice and it was delicious. You can still buy slices, but it was not good. The crust tasted like pre-made dough. Not sure what it was, but a hand tossed thin NY style it was not. The sauce was uneventful and it was loaded thick with cheese to the edge of the pie. No bubbles of dough crisp on a wide crust. Feed it to your kids. They'll eat it. Don't come if you're craving the taste and smell of the pizza they used to serve. It's not here any more. I do hope it returns. Restaurant is clean and neat with a beautiful dining area upstairs. I look forward to coming back to give it another try.
