my God.... the WORST nail place.. i was excited to try this out the first time about 2 months back. the staff seemed to be nice and the manager/owner named Amanda was super cool and nice. so naturally i booked another appointment. Boy.. big mistake. Kevin did my manicure and kept hurting me and the woman doing my pedicure was barley paying attention... she messed up on my toes.. I was waiting for my nails to pay but kevin rushed me out the door because my nail appointment was at 6:30PM. While I have patronized this nail salon in the past and been satisfied with the results, on my recent visit I noticed the drop off in customer service. Despite having an appointment and arriving on time, I was told to wait with no explanation. The salon was nearly full, so it's feasible a wait was required, however, no one greeted me or spoke to me for over 35 minutes. While my pedicure was good, I doubt I'll patronize this establishment in the future. read more

So I came in to bring my grandma for her appointment And I understand that I didn't have an appointment for myself but when I came in I asked if they also had time for a gel mani and pedi for myself and they said yeah that's fine wait 30 mins and we can get you at the same time as your grandma I said perfect so I picked a color and everything. Called at 10 am hoping for an appointment at some point during the time I would be running errands in Napa and was told that I could come right over. When I arrived, they had just finished installing new pedicure massage chairs and manicure tables....they are beautiful! The new chairs have the option for a light intensity or a firm intensity massage, which is nice. I chose the firm, and it was really nice. My pedicurist, Tiffany was super kind and helpful. Came here once before to get my nails done and they were good enough for me to come back on my birthday... only this time I experienced a humiliating moment. I walked in and was aggressively greeted by a man.. assuming he was the owner/manager. He sat me down with one of his employees, who was obviously sick (had a cold) and kept sneezing on her hands without sanitizing them before continuing to glue the nail tips on me. I politely asked for the price as I usually do just to make sure it would be the same as last time... I was getting the same acrylic medium length coffin nails with nail polish... this time I was getting charged $50 when previously I was charged $35. When he told the girl how much to charge me I asked him why $50, he looked at me and loudly and aggressively in front of many customers said that if I "could not afford the nails, to go somewhere else". I was not expecting that at all over a simple question. I was so embarrassed and confused, I told the lady I was sorry but I would not be getting my nails done. As I stood up to leave, the man commanded the girl to take the nail tips off my nails, i politely refused and said it was okay and that I could take them off at home.. with tears in my eyes.. he insisted and so did the girl.. she grabbed my hand & managed to rip a couple of nails off telling her to stop because she was hurting me. I couldn't believe what had happened in those 10 minutes. I walked out in pain and embarrassed. What a disturbing experience on my birthday. I usually love this place but today they did such a poor job. I am very disappointed. I received attitude and unfriendliness from the lady, which was not very cool. The towel they had down to lay my hand on was dirty and wet and they did nothing to replace or clean it. ( I could see old dirt and nail polish and nail clippings. Side note: my appointment was first thing in the morning). My sister also had a bad experience. Her nails are not painted thoroughly and not cleaned up on the sides (as were mine). They also left my nails crusty and dry on the sides and underneath. I also felt that they were more focused on getting the job done and moving on to the next person than taking their time to complete the job nicely. I started coming here for pedicures when I was very pregnant. I always find it super relaxing and enjoyable atmosphere. Now I come here for pedicures and full sets every two weeks! I'm not a particular on who does my nails or toes because I get a good job every single time. One of the girls there is super sweet and goes the extra mile with beauty products that she suggest to use for issues I was having. Poor. I called 24 hrs in advance and made an appointment for 9am. I showed up on time but no one was there. Staff didn't arrive till 9:30am. I said I'd been there, waiting, for half an hour. I was ignored and just instructed to choose a color. No acknowledgment of being late, no asking other staff about this as they walked in, nothing.Their posted hours say "open at 9am". There was zero attention paid to the fact they messed up. No complaints about the pedi though it was very brief (17 min.) Towels were old, thin and bleach-stained.
