Enjoyed a great omelet service great. Atmosphere great very busy place. Best place in Albany capital district area to buy pastries.

Amazing Italian bakery and cafe! They have such a great variety of Italian pastries and cookies as well as bread and donuts all of which are delicious. I plan on coming back to be able to try them all! The sfogiatella is always delicious and flakey and I love the rainbow cookies they have here too. So many creative cannolis as well and I hear the donuts are not to be missed. They also have a hot side for a light brunch or lunch which is really convenient and I look forward to coming back! The people who work there are so nice and everything is ran so efficiently. The store is always so cute for the holidays and there is plenty of parking as well.

Stopped in for a bite while out car shopping with my teenage daughter--which, if you've ever done it, you know is basically just a test of patience, caffeine tolerance, and how many times you can say "that one's out of our budget" without weeping. But THIS place? Lifesaver. The bread? Freshest in the ZIP code, possibly the galaxy. I swear they were still whispering sweet nothings to the yeast when we walked in. The meats? Sliced fresh to order, like they knew I needed a reason to believe in joy again. The service? Quick, friendly, and the kind of vibe that makes you want to ask "what's good today?" just to hear them wax poetic about turkey. And the prices? Let's just say they left me enough cash to still buy a used Civic and a pastry. Speaking of which--SAVE ROOM FOR PASTRIES. That almond croissant looked at me and said, "You deserve better." And I believed it. Anyway, if you're hungry, bring your kid, your appetite, and your emotional baggage from car shopping. They'll feed all three.

Normally, I love Bella Napoli. They usually have amazing pastries, and their Valentine's Day selection looked especially tempting. I picked up two Valentine's Day cookies, a lobster tail, and two large cannolis--items I've enjoyed from them in the past. Unfortunately, this visit missed the mark. The lobster tail was soggy and lacked the crisp crunch I normally expect, and the cannolis were also soggy. That was especially disappointing because those are usually my favorites. The Valentine's Day cookies looked cute, but underneath the frosting they were dry and pretty flavorless. I really wanted to love everything, especially since I've had such great experiences here before, but this time the quality just wasn't there. I'm hoping this was just an off day, because I know how good Bella Napoli can be.

Awesome bakery with a huge selection and convenient hours! Whenever I need baked goods for a get together, Bella Napoli is my go-to place. They have so many baked goods and fresh bread! I usually just pick a bunch of assorted pastries and cookies, so there's something for everyone. They also have the nicest staff members and their hours are 6am to 8pm everyday, which is incredibly convenient. I also love their pre-packaged Italian cookies, which are perfect to grab during the holidays for a work get together, hostess gift or to enjoy yourself!

My wife particularly loves this place. I enjoy it out outside probably the best in the area. The food is excellent, and the desserts are to die for service is always very good and they take care of the customer.

    My 3rd custom birthday cake

Their red velvet cake is fabulous! This is my 3rd custom birthday cake Theresa, from the bakery department, is excellent. Great customer service. She's a gem. She always makes sure my cake matches the theme. You won't be disappointed.

I was pleasantly surprised when I walked into Bella Napoli and saw the variety of baked goods and pastries they offer. There's truly something for everyone! On my first visit, I had their coffee and a cheese danish. The danish was buttery and flaky, just how I like it. A friend had the brownie cheesecake, which I only had a bite of, but oh my--it was creamy with a rich, fudgy layer. I've never had a brownie cheesecake before, but it's definitely on my list to try again next time. I also sampled some of their classic cookies. Their fudge fancies and black and white cookies were great, with the cookies being even better than I expected. Service is super quick, but I do wish they had more coffee options and that the coffee line wasn't separate from the bakery line, so you wouldn't have to wait twice to grab a cappuccino or other drinks. There's usually a bit of a line, but it moves fast, and they have a few tables to sit at. The bakery also has a fun and welcoming vibe with its decor.

This popular local bakery spot has great customer service and is very clean and organized. The cannoli presented very well. But was lacking authentic flavor and texture. The pastry dough is either too soft or some that were stale. The filling is very gritty and unauthentic. The filling tasted more like icing on a cake.

A Capital District staple! I go here a couple times a year for the past 10ish years and never had a disappointing food or experience. I've tried subs, homemade soups and lots of pastries! This week we got mini cannolis; raspberry, chocolate chip, pistachio and lemonciello. So fresh and delicious! If you are in the area, it's a must try!

    French Dip sandwich

Stopped in for a quick lunch sandwich and walked into an exquisite authentic bakery. The food menu was expansive and looked so good, as well as EVERY SINGLE bakery item behind the glass display cases. I literally wanted to try one of everything and did end up getting over a dozen items as well as the French Dip Sandwich, which was so good with its rich beef flavor and perfect au jus for dipping you are going to want to drink it. They had a small area to eat at inside which was sufficient since you'll eat their delicious food so fast, and packed up the bakery treats in a traditional box fastened with string. The staff were all very nice and helpful explaining the process for ordering/paying, as well as knowledgeable about the items while helping me choose. The price I paid for 15 different bakery treats plus the French Dip sandwich actually came out to be less than what I expected for a bakery of this caliber. Very very pleased! Can't even choose a favorite, as I bit into everything I got and it's literally THAT good. Highly recommend!

Poor vanilla cup cake didn't like falling off my seat on the way home. Still epic taste nonetheless!

The lady running the counter was not customer friendly. The vanilla cannoli was chewy and doughy, the vanilla cream left an oily consistency on the tongue. The cupcakes were great, another thumbs up from my kids. The lobster tail and eclair were ok. I'd recommend the Troy location bar non. Better service, better taste and way more options.

Trimisu.... They had micro mini lady fingers and all frosting only... 4/10

It's cute inside and the service was friendly and informative. They let me know that EVERYTHING, even the puff pastry is made in house!!! Very impressive! I bought a couple glazed donuts to make up for the horrible pastry and donuts that I had this week from elsewhere. I'm so glad I did because they were fresh made and moist and the glaze was still wet! If nothing else they made was good, I would go back just for the glazed donuts! But everything is great so let's keep chatting! I originally decided to drive there to get the cinnamon bread that I remember as a kid. Unfortunately they were sold out. But they did have what they called Easter bread, which is s rich egg loaf, similar to Challah with red and golden raisins in it and the dough is lemon flavored. I bought a loaf of that and brought it home and made epic French toast with it! I highly suggest you do the same! I also tried their spinach pastry and "pizza" pastry, delicious! All the dough here just melts in your mouth without leaving a leathery film on your tongue which means it's real pastry made with butter! I have thus resigned myself to the fact that I will be gaining weight soon due to the frequency in which I plan to keep visiting this place haha!

Everything pretty much tasted bland with not much flavor. The oatmeal raisin cookie, cinnamon bread, and cinnamon sugar donut were just not worth the calories. The cinnamon sugar donuts were the worst as they were incredibly dense and tasted stale. There's street parking and the employees were judgey, but friendly enough.

I don't know if it's a placebo effect but everything I've ever purchased at FFF has been phenomenal. Knowing the produce is grown on the premises makes it taste better? It could sway my opinion to a more positive direction but there is no arguing with the sweetness of freshly picked sugar snap peas. I started snacking on them on the drive home and could barely stop myself. The clean earthiness of small beets, small enough to leave the skins on and roast them. Tastes like clean dirt. Love that. There was also a varietal of bok choy. Salt, olive oil, oven for a few minutes. That...just that...was dinner. It's a weird thing to taste how far away I've come from locally grown food; to have my tastes muted by a commercially grown industry. FFF food is like coming home to where we belong.

I knew nothing about this place when my wife suggested for a surprise lunch on a Saturday…read moreafternoon, and we had to rush over as they have limited hours. It was cold and raining outside and I was happy to get out of it and relax. Sadly, I quickly found out her surprise involved eating outside under a tent in the cold and rain on a November day. Sigh. At least they had blankets on the benches. We ordered in the far tent and the menu board was both helpful (it listed everything in each entree, including onions) and annoying (it indicated no substitutions were allowed, including onions). Not to be deterred, I picked the pepperoni pizza with hot honey, basil and Calabrian chili peppers. My wife ordered the Margherita pizza. Both were ready in about 15 minutes, but upon delivery to our table it became clear that a couple of things were off. First, my wife's pizza was cold and mine was pipping hot. Second, mine had so much basil- which in places was left in 2-3 leaf bunches- that perhaps they just cleaned out the pantry for the last order of the day. The crust in spots were burned, but I could live with that. However, it was so floppy that it couldn't be picked up under any condition. Everything but the outer inch of crust was like a thin wet tortilla. And their plastic cutlery wasn't up to the challenge, ripping the pizza toppings off and turning my pizza into a casserole. That being said, the flavors were wonderful on my pizza. The hot honey made for a really tasty flavor balance, and the copious amounts of curling pepperoni were a nice change of pace from the cheap stuff. The peppers were good too, and I wish I could source some locally. My wife's pizza was okay, though the whole mozzarella clumps reminded of dollops of Ricotta and they were very cold as if they were added after baking. Odd. I don't mind paying for expensive pizza if it is good. I am also not a pizza snob and will gladly eat subpar pizza. But, to overpay ($26 for mine alone) for pizza that is just a mess in a cardboard box rubs me the wrong way. The same goes for buying ($24) a cold pizza. The dessert we ordered was a Paris-Brest, and being a choux fan I absolutely loved it. Delicious with hints of coffee, almonds, nuts, and some flavorings I couldn't place, I would quickly come back here just for that. As for their pizza, I just don't know. On a nice pleasant day it would be fun, but too many mistakes on our pizzas makes me leery of ordering them again for those prices.
