Horrible Customer Service: Last night I called Bella to order a (large plain pie) well done for pick-up at 6:19pm, around 6:40pm picked up order and got home. To our dismay when we opened the pizza box it's not our order. Instead we receive a (large eggplant rollatini pie). Now drive back to Bella. Now mind you this is the second pick-up delivery mistake Bella makes with our orders. I simply wanted a full refund upon arrival. Now it's close to 6:50pm. The server at the counter Alban apologies as she did with the prior incident a few months back stating she must of misunderstood. (clearly per our take-out slip we received an incorrect order, our order was for another customer) An older gentleman approaches to assist but in my opinion insults us by stating, "isn't an eggplant rollatini pie the same as a plain pie". By far horrible customer service, then he has the temerity to offer us our original plain pie that's been sitting for over 45 minutes- let's be real cold by now. My family and I are regular customers at Bella Pizza and have been for quite some time. Every employee we've interacted with has been courteous and the food is absolutely delicious. Today, literally for the first time, there was some confusion with my order. I called back to inform Bella Pizza about the error and they not only apologized for the mix up and further clarified my request, but they sent me quite the sizable replacement. 5 stars just isn't enough ! This is BY FAR THE BEST PIZZA PLACE IN NORTH JERSEY! The variety of pizza is just fantastic. The taste of the food is delicious! Prices are VERY fair. Their range of food from pizza to subs etc is so refreshing than just your ordinary pizza place. VERY CLEAN, VERY swell maintained. Beautiful decorum. This review is based on Customer Service! I have been a customer since they opened, and though they have had a couple of customer service mishaps along the way, not only with me, but with other people, I continued to give them business. I order a lot for our company meetings and also for personal as I am local. I ordered a grilled chicken salad that comes with mixed greens. I left work to pick it up, paid and drove back to work. I then realized that it was all spinach, with three pieces of iceberg tossed in there. I personally can not eat spinach. I called up, and I would assume the gentlemen I spoke with was the Manger. I explained what happened, and he said 'yeah, well, we didn't have anymore mixed lettuce, so we did extra spinach." (it was ALL Spinach) I said ' I can't each spinach, someone should have called me and asked me if I still wanted it before I paid $12 for a salad that I can not eat', he said 'well, next time you come, I will give you extra lettuce'!! I thought he was kidding.... it had to be a joke, nope, he was serious. I said, that isn't going to work, I don't want extra LETTUCE when I come next time, I want to make this right because I now don't have a salad I can eat. He asked if I wanted to go back down and he would make me a new salad, I asked, how would you make me a new salad? I left there 10 minutes ago and you just told me that you don't have mixed green lettuce. He said 'I will find something and put it together '. Ok, thanks, but ummm.. NO THANKS! What does that even mean?! I told him I couldn't leave work again to pick it up. He could have made this right in so many ways... he could have offered to deliver a new salad or another item off of the menu, he could have said, I will give you a credit and you can pick up a salad the next time, OR he could have simply said, I apologize.... but he didn't. He kept getting more and more defensive and irritated, I was now getting upset an hangry! So, I said, forget it, clearly you don't know how to handle a complaint. Another time, I had gotten a salad with dressing, both me and my co-worker both agreed that the dressing was sour, not good at all. I called, just to let them know so that he wouldn't send it out again. He got so defensive and said 'that's how it's supposed to taste'!! Alrighty then! You go ahead and serve your rotten dressing, and I will no longer be ordering from your establishment. I called back to see what the deal was, did I have an old menu? Did I get charged extra for peppers on a sandwich? $2 Want extra garlic on your Broccoli Rabe? $2. I decided to give this place a try today for lunch after my broker raved about their food. I will NEVER go back. The women behind the counter were not friendly (unbelievable in a SERVICE industry), they seemed bothered when I asked for a piece of bread to accompany my salad (which may I add, everywhere else I've ordered a salad from COMES with a piece of bread). First time customer this afternoon and I can say that I will be a repeat customer soon. The food was delish! I ordered the fettuccine alfredo, shrimps, buffalo wings, house salad, cheeseburger with fries, and for dessert - the tiramisu, all for a family lunch. We order from Bella Pizza at least once every other week. Great food, service and delivery. We love the Hawaiian pizza and last order noted in the comments that we'd like more cook on the top of the pie (due to the moisture in the pineapple). Bella's called before making the pie to confirm exactly how we wanted it cooked. When the pie arrived it was cooked perfectly and the extra attention to it was really appreciated. Horrible customer service!!! Used to be a favorite of ours, until they lost our order and blamed us for it. Placed the order as usual from the usual phone. When we went to pick it up, we were told there was no order and that we needed to wait outside. When I called, to find out what happended, I was told there was no order. No other option was given so I asked to place the order again and was given a ridiculous time to wait for 2 pizzas. I asked to speak to the owner, who finally found our order under the wrong name and number! Why did no one look for our order to begin with? We used to always order from here but after last night never again. We ordered the baked meat lasagna which hardly had any meat or cheese in it, it was more noodles than anything else. I had the eggplant rollotini and the eggplant was grilled instead of breaded and it had no taste. I think the sauce was homemade but it was very watery and certainly no taste at all. The guy that took my order hardly understood what I was ordering, maybe you should pay attention to the person on the phone instead of everyone else around you. Bella Pizza has easily become my favorite pizza place to go to since it opened. Their grandma sicilian is to die for and when I'm looking for some non-pizza options, I personally love to grab their chicken caesar wrap but I've never been disappointed with the food I've had there. Not only is the food great at Bella, but the customer service is unmatched! They're always very nice and have come to recognize me after only 4-5 takeouts. In addition to this, my family came to them with short notice and a large order for my grandmother's repass. They took the order and everything came out perfect and made the event much less stressful knowing we could trust them for the food. First time visit to this fairly new pizzeria. Ordered a Sicilian slice, a Brooklyn slice, and a soda. Total was $9, a bit pricey considering several other options in the immediate area. Taste wise, both slices were good. The Sicilian was average, and not enough sauce. The crust was thick with a balance of softness and a bit of crunch. Nothing to rave about, but acceptable. The Brooklyn slice was a bit on the small size. Good crust, about 1/4" thick, with a nice flavor. The sauce is placed on top of the cheese, with a bit of basil, and overall a very tasty and enjoyable specialty slice. I'd come back for another Brooklyn, and try out some of the other varieties. They have fountain soda, which comes in a large plastic restaurant cup, and a fridge loaded with different bottled beverages. The environment is very clean, with all new construction. Friendly workers. There are about 16 tables, some that seat six. Very spacious dining area. There are also five cafe tables with umbrellas out front. They do have menus, but no menu board yet listing items and prices. I deducted a star because of the higher prices. Also, I did not receive a receipt, or offered one. Didn't realize that until I left. This is not owned by the same guy that owned Bella Pizza in Carlstadt. To sum it up, I'd come back a second time to try other items. read more

As a resident of Hasbrouck heights I use Bella often for dinner for myself and for my family. I also used Bella to cater a large order following an event for my university. Great pizzeria all around. Waiting staff was friendly and relatively quick. Clean environment with modern fixtures where you'll be pleased to bring friends and family for lunch or dinner. Had a grandpa's slice and a brooklyn slice. Both were prepared well and tasted incredible. There's a large variety of menu options where you can't really go wrong. Although we've been ordering take out or delivery for a while, tonight we were treated terribly. Normally the wait to pick up a pizza is 25-30 minutes. Tonight apparently it was 45 minutes. When my husband went to pick it up and heard he had to wait another 20 minutes he cancelled the order. No pizza was made yet, even if it was it could go to someone else. Well, my husband was called an a**hole to his face, among other horrible things. Is this how you treat your customers? Went here tonight with three friends and our kids, after being there for just five minutes the older man behind the counter tells me to please tell our kids to keep it down there are other people in the pizzeria. I purchased 3 diet Snapple's my youngest son did not want his but wanted water instead, the Snapple was never opened, I ask the lady at the counter nicely can I please exchange this for snapple for water, her response to me did, you open that? I told her why would I come to your counter with an open Snapple bottle asking to exchange it for water. Would you like to check if opened it? No comparison. By far the best new spot in Hasbrouck Heights. No more crowded lines like the old place I went to with no space to stand let alon2 eat. No more rude people behind the counter like the old place I used to go to. This place is run by an entire family.. not by some random kids who dont care. So they really do give each and every customer nothing but love and respect. The pizza makers are absolutely amazing to watch from the wide open front display. They are clearly highly experienced and very good at what they do. This place ALWAYS has full staff with multiple pizza makers, multiple delivery drivers and multiple phone girls on top of the family that is always there running the business. I am def now a new customer and as long as this place stays the way it is, I will never order anywhere else again. This is for sure my new favorite spot.
