This was the worst food.I am a local I have tried it a few times and it socks we paid 92.00 for the worst Mother's Day meal ever.We sat there for a good 15 min while staff sat there and ate,This was horrible no wonder we do not go there.Go to Spankys or Rockys.I miss the Mountain Inn at least they could bring down the outrages prices. read more

Bells cafe is a town treasure. The food is great (American diner with great quality), and the folks who own and run the place are wonderful. Always friendly and great service. My kids love the food (Blueberry pancakes in particular), and my little one chomps down their bacon like she hasn't eaten in a week! They are social-distance friendly, both inside and outdoor dining. We take-out & dine in frequently. They are cash only, and there is an ATM conveniently located nearby. It's a great place. read more

We really wanted to see this place grow . Sadly we even tried 2 times . First off it's winter and it's cold people want to sit in a warm place and a hot cup of coffee . Get space heaters something to move some heat around . Hot coffee is a must . Now the price is high for the quality it's breakfast par boil the potatoes then the one out great when you brown them and that's why they are called home fries and hash brown aren't a mix of raw potato and burnt ones . Great food with a big enough menu to please everyone without overwhelming. We went for breakfast for the second time (should come more) and the portions were more than big enough for the price. Centrally located in our little town, this cafe has a good list of breakfast options, and I always prefer outdoor seating when I can get it. My little one enjoys getting the kids pancake, portions are good, and priced well. read more

Awesome small, cute, clean cafe with great food. The Denver omelette is done properly, the blueberry pancakes are light and tasty. Best of all a good beef Patty as an option with eggs in a combo is very good. For GF the Huevos Mexicano is excellent. I order mine without the jalapenos and with corn tortillas. No gluten problems at all! My husband rates this as a very good place to eat...and he is hard to please! Gluten free pancakes have been added recently. read more

We headed there after long hike in big basin redwood and have brunch here. We order pancakes, french toast, cafe Florentine, omelet, and all food has good quality and taste. For the price of food, they offer very good quality service. Enjoyed our food and the staff was polit and helpful. read more

So happy that we finally have a breakfast spot in town that serves great food and has great service and plenty of places to sit sorry Jenna ;). All in all the food is great and lots of fairly healthy options and the ingredients are fresh as well. 100% recommend for parties of up to 6 bigger than that might be a while for seating. Service was excellent. Came here finally after walking past it for 4 years. Quiet, very cozy, food is good especially in a small town. Delicious food! They just opened and the food is excellent! Very fresh, the service is outstanding. We wanted to sit out side because we had our dog and they brought a table out just for us. We ordered a coffee, Greek omelet, feta/tomato/basil scramble, plus a pancake and all of the food was delicious. I highly recommend eating here read more

My husband and I went to Bella's Cafe for the first time this week. Not only was the food spectacular, but the owner's husband, who was running the place all by himself, was so kind. We ordered the Eggs Benedict and the California Omelette. The fried potatoes and hash brown potatoes were out of this world as well. I give this restaurant a 10 out of 10! read more

Had a really nice breakfast at Bella's! Super nice people and a great breakfast. I had the "meet lover" (sic) omelette and my very significant other had the Denver. Eggs cooked perfectly, and everything cooked before it went into the omelette so it was hot all of the way through without the eggs having to cook too long. Great home fries and really fresh fruit too. We made a short morning trip of it from Saratoga - a beautiful drive on fun, curvy roads and there are two ways to get to Boulder Creek so you can make a loop of it. Boulder Creek is a cool town to check out to boot! read more

Bella's is fantastic for breakfast! Great short-order fare, including crispy hash browns, great home fries, perfect eggs. This is our favorite place for a weekend brunch in Boulder Creek. My partner and I came by Bella's Café, and let me tell you, we were not disappointed! Besides the friendly staff, the food was a-ma-zing. We both ordered a bacon cheeseburger and you could see the cheese melting and how fresh everything was made. We requested home fries as a side, which were just perfectly crisp and seasoned. I really wanted to like this place. The people are friendly and the ingredients were good quality. However, I had to season my own food when I got home and the bacon in my omlet was literally all big chunks of fat with no actual meat and there was barely any filling. I have visited this place twice: once for Cafe Florentine and again for a nice scrambled egg plate. I am relieved by the pleasant service in rude times. Both plates were perfect, and service was prompt and polite. The menu is basic and honest, and the atmosphere is cozy. Even the coffee was a pleasant surprise - it was not burnt, thank you. Ingredients were fresh both times, lots if attention to detail. Wow! I do recall a previous owner a few years ago that was not good, but Bella's is pleasant surprise. read more

Bella's is a little hidden gem on the main street of downtown Boulder Creek. Don't blink your eyes or you might miss it. The owner and chef is so sweet and gracious, he sold me on the place even before I ordered. The place is small and quaint with outdoor seating in the rear...perfect on a beautiful CA day. I ordered the huevos rancheros which was excellent, tasting so home cooked. My friends ordered the eggs Benedict, chorizo scramble and banana nut pancakes. Everyone was very happy and satisfied with their dishes. You can tell the chef takes pride in his work...everything tasted like it was prepared with care and not just thrown together. It's so refreshing to see someone take pride in their craft. I would totally recommend this place and will definitely return for more yummy food! read more

Very impressed by this one-man show in a quaint small-town diner! Absolutely delightful made-from-scratch breakfast. One charming, smiling gentleman ran the whole place. He took our order of French toast, and two Huevos Rancheros. The food was perfect! I can't believe how he whipped up such an amazing meal so quickly. The French toast was fluffy and hearty and just sweet and egg-y enough. The huevos were served with crispy hash browns, tasty avocado and savory salsa, cheese and beans. VEGAN FRIENDLY. They will make any egg scramble with tofu instead of egg! I had the Huevos Mexicano this AM. It is a scramble with jalapeño, avocado and cheese served with tortillas and black beans (all seasoned perfectly). They substituted with tofu and no cheese, extra jalapeños. OMG. It was so good! I had been craving iced tea and drank multiple glasses of their perfectly made iced tea. Refills on coffee and tea came without having to waive down the staff.
