Various pasta dishes my family have eaten (usually to go orders) have consistently been very good. Love both the marinara and the Alfredo sauces. Pasta is homemade. Salads always fresh. Great italian food at reasonable prices. The restaurant has been open a year at least and we just tried it out. I would say it is the best italian food i have had in all of san antonio area. The lettuce in the salad was fresh, and was served with one slice of a Roma tomato, a handful of bagged mozzarella, and a house dressing. The dressing had the same consistency and flavor as cocktail sauce; is was replaced with Ranch...squeezed right out of the jumbo, store-bought bottle. Rolls were cool and not as promised. Pasta was clearly store bought and really overpriced for what was delivered. Of the pasta sampler, spaghetti, and Chicken Florentine, only the last was worth eating and freshly prepared..with hard angel hair pasta underneath. This meal could have been prepared for under $10 with the same ingredients...save your Italian dining experience for a different restaurant. Cinder block walls, very commercialized, and no change from when it was Fredo's...including the menu (or close). Nice non-acidic sauce and great texture on the meatballs. Tried Bella Sera Friday, 11/25/16. Was in Boerne for Dickens on Main with daughter, granddaughter & toddler grandson. Pleasantly surprised Dickens crowd hadn't beaten us there. Albi, our waiter, was extremely considerate of my physical limitations and grandsons energy. We all ordered something different and were pleased.
