I've eaten at the LOL location several times and have always enjoyed the food and service. Last night my wife and I had dinner there. Kaiylee (sp?) did a great job taking care of us throughout our meal. We both ordered the Short Rib Ragu (we substituted the radiatori pasta for the mafaldine because it holds the sauce better). The problem I had was with the amount of meat in the dish. I had to hunt for the few small pieces of beef, it looked nothing like the picture of the dish they show on the website. Came here with my girlfriends to enjoy delicious pasta and they did not disappoint! The appetizers were great, especially the calamari that came out very hot and seasoned well! The only thing that was good about this place was the atmosphere and the service from our waitress. Extremely overpriced for the quality. The chicken parm was okay at best, nothing spectacular for over $23. The roasted mushroom pizza was dry and bland, even a side of pomodoro sauce didn't help. The rest of my family's meals were nothing to write home about, even the $30+ seafood pasta. I dined here on a Friday night around 6 pm. We had a reservation for 7. Our table was ready when we got there. This is a large restaurant with indoor & outdoor seating. They had heaters on the patio for the cooler temps. The restaurant was sleek & clean. We could see into parts of the kitchen from our table. We got the arancini and meatballs to start. Both were delicious and a nice serving. The bread with dipping oil is perfect. I ordered the red sangria which was decent but nothing special. I had the side salad which was fresh & pretty large. The dressing was great. I got the ravioli for my main dish. The serving size was good and there was plenty of sauce so save some bread! Overall a great meal. The server was ok. We were kind of annoyed that she cleared the apps without asking if we wanted to take the remainder home. Food came out pretty quickly. Well organized kitchen. read more

Stopped in for a late lunch and what a gem of a surprise. The menu southern Italian all scratch made was delish! You can watch them make fresh pasta and breads from a window into the kitchen. We had the carpaccio, bruschetta, burrata and prosciutto pizza and a kids fried chicken. Everything was amazing, fresh and delish! We can't wait to go back to sample more things on the menu. Others at the table got the hot honey pizza, the margherita, and we started with the garlic bread. The pizza is PHENOM, definitely recommend getting the pizza here over everything else!! It's certainly a solid spot to scratch the Italian itch. Everyone at the table enjoyed the chicken parm and the portion was generous. I'm a sucker for a truffle pasta and while it didn't disappoint, I needed to add salt and pepper, and there wasn't a noticeable truffle flavor. Bellabrava has finally opened at the Bexley. Beautiful space and location is great. Way closer for me than midtown. They have outdoor seating and a nice size bar. We went to check it out for lunch since it just opened a few days ago. Our server was good and the manager greeted our table and was very friendly. I will admit i was a bit disappointed in my chicken pesto melt. It was the size of a slider and half of my plate was empty. At the other location, the sandwich was much bigger for the same price. If disappointment had a name, it would be Bella Brava. First let's review the niceties, the atmosphere, decor, lighting, music, cleanliness and temperature were right on. This establishment paid a lot of to build this eatery and it shows, well done. Service started out great but slowly went down hill. By the time it came for the check we waited over 20 minutes, we almost left. The server said they also had tables outside, but the restaurant was not even 1/3 full, and there did not seem to be a sense of urgency. I don't think they were short handed, but being ignored for so long has a cause. When our food was served the food runner held an auction, who gets what? You would think that with all the money they spent to build the place, they would have seat numbers. You embarrass yourself by not delivering the food to the right person. Now comes the food, or some semblance of food. Arancini was ICE COLD inside, but had good flavor. The bisque was a soup and had great flavor, but its not bisque. The entrees were worse. The lobster ravioli had a great flavor profile and the hidden hint of lemon was perfect, but they were RAW, pasta pillows were less than 1/2 cooked. The last entree, thier version of short rib ragu missed on many points, the short rib had a great flavor but was dry and over cooked, the pasta in the dish were VERY OVER COOKED, and the dish on a whole was bland. It reminded me of hamburger helper. The icing on the cake, we skipped dessert, but I've been in the bathroom all day, hit me hard early morning, the right timing for food poisoning. We threw the leftovers away. Bottom line, just say no to Bella Brava. read more

Loved loved loved! Came after a wedding rehearsal for a late lunch! Cody and Sean were our servers and they were amazing! I was unfamiliar with the menu and Sean was so great with explaining and helping me pick my meal! Everything was homemade! Food and drinks were delicious, not a long wait at all! For music playing and regular restaurant noise we were all able to enjoy our food and have regular conversations. Portions were huge! Everything tasted delicious! The inside is beautifully laid out, clean, and has a spacious bar. We visited on a Friday night and the crew operated like a well-oiled machine and checked on us multiple times during our visit. Shoutout to Dallas- he's amazing and knowledgeable on the menu!! We started out with the Goat Cheese Al Forno for an appetizer and it was just enough for two people and very good! I highly recommend the skinny cucumber martini drink. It was very light and refreshing! For our main course we had the chicken Parmesan and salmon. I have been to the one in Tampa and being to this other location was needed, surprisingly the flavors and recipes remain the same, delicious. I also discovered they have a few new plates on the menu. For those that are used to their reduced and more private location in Tampa, this location up here is way bigger, like the space isn't an issue at this location, great for big parties and big family/friends reunions. As it seems to be BellaBrava signature, their service and attention is great, making sure every single order comes out perfectly fine, no drink went empty before already having a new one on the way, simply top notch. Everytime I come here there is something wrong with my order or bad service! Tonight l asked about adding mushrooms to my pizza. They gave me the wrong pizza by mistake and I had eaten 1 piece. Then the waitress took the pizza back, not sure why when it cannot be served to the customer who ordered it? Brought the correct pizza out a few mins later. Excellent overall experience. Great happy hour deals and everyone and I mean everyone who works here is very friendly. They all made sure we were happy with our visit. I have never seen or talked with so many staff and managers in any restaurant before. Great atmosphere and great food. Loved it all and portions are huge!! We will be back. I even made a joke with the manager stating we had a horrible time and the manager laughed since we talked several times while we were there but the staff member near by got worried and tried to help find out what happened and how they could help.
