Just came from dinner there. Waitstaff and servers are friendly without being pushy or overbearing about it. We started with the crabcake appetizer. It was the best I've had since Baltimore and my wife, who is usually "meh" about crab anything, really enjoyed hers. The sauce was less remoulade and heavier tomato-based with lots of sweet bell pepper and spice - two ingredients that are popular here. The house salad with homemade honey mustard was the right touch, with a ring of sweet cranberries around the edge and chunk sliced wedges of tomato. My wife had the grilled salmon pasta while I had the shrimp and crab pasta (both linguini). The aroma as it was served to our table was mouth-watering. My wife ordered her fish medium and it came in a creamy light pesto sauce with a dollop of pesto on the fish. My shrimp and crab pasta featured jumbo shrimp and shredded crab in a yellow, green, and red jalapeno sauce - spicy *and* hot with lots of chunks of jalapenos. Both dishes were deliciously out of this world, but my spicy shrimp and crab was not for the feint of heart. Just be prepared for it, is all I'm saying. The soda dispenser presented trendy crafted flavors that haven't slid into hipster yet. I had the Cream Soda while my wife had sparkling water. We finished off with a shared slice of pumpkin caramel cheesecake and, holy cow that was a large slice! Portions big enough that we wound up taking ToGo boxes with us, so be prepared for that as well. Whatever you order for dinner will also be tomorrow's lunch. I have always been a fan of this place. It's an adorable spot to catch up with friends because of the diverse menu of whole foods and your choice of the trendy interior or inviting patio. I ordered the seasonal paleo (FINALLY somewhere has them) salmon tacos! While they were delicious, they were also oozing with oil. Other than that, I can't complain. The service wasn't too fast and the place wasn't packed for my Friday lunch, but the portion sizes are definitely satisfactory. And the bread pudding is to die for! read more

First time eating at Bellagreen. The food was delicious and the service was fast and friendly. The manager/ owner came by to check on our table and make sure everything was good. I got a salad with added tofu, my husband had a roasted chicken sandwich, and my dad got a steak and cheese sandwich. What appeared to be simple sandwiches were elevated and balanced, the tofu was cooked well -- which can be hard to find. The owner even gave us a free dessert because it was our first time. My only complaint was the price may not match the amount of food that is delivered. read more

This is a lovely restaurant with an absolutely beautiful interior. They way they have the place set up is simple but classy, the food is very good and I love the vegetarian and vegan options. I really think everyone that works here should have a refresher of the menu. My fiancé and I ordered the breakfast plate, which clearly comes with eggs, pancakes, potatoes and a choice bacon or sausage (attached image of menu). When asked what side I asked do you mean what choice of meat? If so bacon! Because it comes with potatoes. And he said no you only get a choice of 1 side, so either potatoes or bacon. So we both just picked potatoes-- the clerk at front even confirmed with manager and he agreed with the clerk that the breakfast plate doesn't come with potatoes, we get choice of. At that point we just kinda gave up (even showed them the menu). The food was okay. I gave two stars because the pancakes were really good! I should've went with lemon poppy pancakes but probably won't be back to try. I would suggest either fixing the wording of the menu or serve what it states. read more

If I could give 2.5 I would. This is an average between my boyfriend who got the delicious brick chicken - a total 5 - and my Cuban panini which was a big fat 0. Somehow dry and soggy at the same time, it was prepared first and sat under the heat lamps for awhile. By the time my boyfriends chicken was ready both the panini and the sweet potato fries were cold and gross. It makes me really frustrated with the staff - you know the brick chicken takes a long time to prep, you mentioned it. Why would you prep my meal first just to sit and go bad??? We were one of only three couples in the place, it's not like it was lunch rush. On the plus side I liked the lemon berry acai soda. read more

I thoroughly enjoyed this meal. My friend and I were having a friend date and we are both eating healthy so we were looking for a place that had healthy choices. This place is adorable we love the decor. We decided to eat on the patio. I chose the brick chicken with the roasted veggies and sweet potato mash. It was amazing. We ordered from Bellagreen, and the restaurant forgot to give the door dash driver half of our order. Unfortunately, this is not the first or even the second time this has happened. When we called the restaurant it turned out that they caught the mistake right away but made no effort to call us or to re-place the order with door dash. They did not offer to rectify our order, and the only thing they could do was offer a refund - that was rather disappointing as we then only had half our meal to snack on and had they placed the order with door dash when they noticed the mistake we could have had the whole order delivered (doesn't seem like that difficult of a problem to solve). Overall, the staff was not helpful and did not offer an apology. When we asked for a general manager the manager told us we should google them? One of the items delivered was also incorrect. On the whole, I would not recommend ordering delivery from this restaurant. read more

I wasn't sure what I wanted for lunch, so wanted to eat in the area for where I was going to be grocery shopping. Since this was my first time to this American Bistro, I thought - why not try the burger and fries. The burger patty itself and the burger altogether were good - would have even been great if it hadn't been for the limp "pickles" - I get that they are trying to be gourmet - but seriously why out anything other than crisp dill pickles on a burger. I would have truly enjoyed the burger otherwise. In fact it was why I gave them a 2 star rather than a 1. The hand cut fries on the other hand were abysmal. They weren't even warm - completely room temperature; they were tough to chew because they had sat so long. I'm assuming the other reason is that the oil wasn't hot enough before they put the fries in. They were stuck together and none were remotely crispy like they had just come out of hot oil. They are soaked in oil inside, so the oil wasn't hot enough and then after sitting too long before they were served ruined it for me. I'll definitely come back and try some of the other things - but I sore have my fingers crossed that whatever I get will be better. Better luck next time. read more

Vintage Park locations a few days ago. THEY DONT ACCEPT CASH!! Unless you want to tip them??? When told about the cash policy I was confused, but whatever... But then was told they accept cash tips??? Super Annoying and lacks logic. My cash can't buy food but can be collected as tips. Not sure why you would tip here in the first place. Other than bringing out our food, my family was responsible for getting refills at a communal soda dispensing station, and walking up to the service bar to ask for napkins sauces ECT... Buff burger was good and cooked to accurate to my request. The Fries both SP and HC were on point and the restaurant was not afraid to use salt after frying them ( HUGE PLUS ) The Gluten free options for my youngest kid was also another HUGE PLUS. As much as I love spicy food, the pepper in this dish was too heavy handed and ruined everything, including the vegetables. I could hardly eat the sweet potatoes as they were over seasoned. The food is absolutely amazing here. They have the one of the best Mac- and cheeses I have ever tasted. They teas are a little gross tasting and most of them taste like perfume. The decor is nice and most of the staff are friendly. One of my favorite things is the creme brûlée. I gave this place 5 stars because it's one of my favorite restaurants l. But be prepared to spend some money because it's a tiny bit pricey. For 4 people with drinks, food, and desserts it's about $85. Which isn't that bad considering it's good. read more

So I love Bellagreen and was so incredibly Disappointed and shocked today. I was eating the veggie lettuce wraps and I feel something hard in my mouth.... it was an industry screw. I take it out of My mouth and tell the guy at the cash register and he comes to the table and was like "oh that is a screw from on of our skillets very casually". Literally I'm done with Bella Green. We have ordered here so many times, and often order their carrot cake. EVERY time, they tell me no I cannot have ice cream with my cake. When I ask why they say "it might melt." WHO CARES?! I can put the ice cream in the freezer if it does. No other restaurant argues with me about to go ice cream, it's ridiculous. So tonight after arguing to get my ice cream, I get home and they didn't give me the sauce for my cake. If this was a one time incident I wouldn't complain, but it's been at least 10 times now. I went to this location last night and was SO impressed. I love going out to eat but I always feel so gross and bloated and sick after eating at restaurants but here it was totally different. I love Bellagreens but they've unfortunately become inconsistent. I order DoorDash quite a bit (don't judge ;)) and I've now had two orders that were missing items. The first time I ordered a soup, but it didn't arrive with the rest of my order. Today we ordered the spicy shrimp pasta and blackened shrimp salad. The blackened shrimp salad did not come with the dressing.... how am I supposed to eat the salad without the dressing? The pasta was flavorless. I've had this pasta several times and it's never been this un-flavorful. It was extremely bland. My husband and I didn't eat either item. Quite disappointing, especially because Bellagreens is not exactly cheap. If I order a $16 salad, I expect the dressing. Get it together Bellagreens! I am a regular at the River Oaks location, but I will never be visiting Vintage again. We waited 30 minutes before kindly going up to ask about our food only for the waiter to come back and lie to us. He made a story up that a table came in 30 seconds before us (yet their number was 21 while ours was 20) and ordered the exact same thing: grilled fish tacos, white chicken parm, and a slice of carrot cake. He said they mistakenly took our food to their table and that ours would be out in 5-10 minutes. 15 minutes later the manager came out to apologize saying they had taken our original food to the wrong table, and the table accepted the food even though it wasn't theirs. He said he would understand if we wanted to just leave. They STILL hadn't re-put our order in from the first time I notified them. After telling them we would still like to eat as it was 9:45 so we didn't have many other options around, they brought out the fish tacos in about 10 minutes and the pasta in 20. I like the menu at Bellagreen! It has great options for someone who is looking into healthier food. I ordered the Atlantic Salmon Salad which was delicious! The portion was pretty large but I still finished the meal and felt pretty full from a salad. I think the price is a bit on the high side which is a downside. I suppose with the amount of food it can be considered reasonable compared to other restaurants, but I still thought it cost quite a bit. There are days that the place can be crowded, but there's still plenty of room to grow. The service is pretty great since they check up on you frequently. Sooo good! Wonderful selections, especially for those with specific diet needs. My mom and I both had the spicy chicken tacos and loved them. I accidently dug in before taking a shot so I simply took one of my empty plate, haha! Just enough spice to get your nose to drip a little but not so much it blew your brains out. After seeing the selection of teas and special sodas, I went back to purchase a drink and glad I did. I had to sample them all of course and the only one I didn't like was the mandarin orange soda but I think the syrup might have been out. Since the sodas are free from dyes, there is no way to tell except by taste. We even allowed ourselves the sharing of the pumpkin cheesecake. No way were we prepared for the presentation of this divine dessert! Yum all the way! A must eat experience for every time I get to come visit my daughter :) read more

This place is straight up the BOMB!! The ambiance, food, desserts ALL unbelievably great. I have no idea why it took me so long to stop by this place. It's what I've been missing and looking for since moving here a little over a year ago. The kitchen places great attention to detail. When your plate arrives, it looks as if it was being served at some high end restaurant down in River Oaks. The salads are large and fresh. The meats they use are top quality. They even use hemp protein in some of their dishes!! YES!! Plates are definitely large enough to share. This location has a nice outdoor seating area. I am now a forever regular. I'll be sure to bring family, friends, and anyone who comes to visit. Thank you for doing such a great job with healthy eating. So happy, happy, happy I found BELLAGREEN!! read more
