I just tried this place for the first time a few weeks ago and I'm so upset it took me this long to try it! Love that they have a nice inside for you to sit down and eat, almost like a restaurant but without a server. I usually eat in my car on my lunch breaks so this was a nice treat. I ordered the managers special which is a half sandwich and a cup of soup. For the sandwich I got the Carmela which is salami, pepperoni, ham with melted provolone topped with some kind of spicy mayo serviced on toasted sourdough. For the soup I got the Broccoli and Cheese. Had a really good experience here with two hungry crazy kids. They are mac n cheese snobs. Some mac n cheese they like some they won't eat. Jason's Deli is in their top 3. That was their request for lunch on a Saturday afternoon so I took them here. Hadn't been to a Jason's Deli in about a year or two but was pleasantly surprised when I walked in. Place was clean and smelled good. Decently priced and adequate seating for lunch rush. Ordered them their mac n cheese dish with pickles with chocolate milks and I ordered the turkey avocado panini. We found a good table and the employee brought us our food in a short time. They loved their dish and my sandwich was delicious! Those pickles are fresh and tasty so we snuck up to the salad bar and grabbed some more! We got ice cream cones on the way out and had a good time. Food was fresh and tasty. I've always loved the turkey muffletta at Jason's but think they changed the recipe this week; it is not good. The bun is more like a cheap hamburger bun that squeezes down to 1/20th of an inch of gluten and has seeds on it! Ick! The cheese is now too tart/sharp; tastes like a parmesan cheese mix. I like this location due to its convenience. The cashier lady is always friendly and the food comes out pretty quick. They really need to work on cleanliness though. I saw someone wiping down the drink station repeatedly whilst tables sat for a long time dirty with dishes. There were almost as many dirty tables as there were clean. And this seems to happen every time I come in, no matter the day or time. I did eventually see someone slowly cleaning some of the tables during my dine in stay but the ones in the pictures were dirty when sat down and dirty upon me leaving. Jason's Deli food at a "new" location - good place to go if you have grandkids to feed ( kiddo's got Ham & Cheese, Mac & Cheese, & Gluten-free Chicken nuggets). Adults ordered a Chicken Wrapini & New York Yankee. All this with fountain drinks, a little over $32 - for the quality of the food, not bad at all. It did take over 20 minutes of placing the order before it was delivered to our table. The kids were getting inpatient, luckily we sat in the area where we watched the "assembly line" putting our meal together. Looks like they are still working with some "start up" problems - they had two cashiers when the ordering line was short, but one cashier when the line was long. Go figure... Six stars! This review is for the exceptional customer for the staff. As we were eating our meal, a group of firefighters came by in their fire truck. They ordered their food and sat down at a table and began to eat their meal. It wasn't long before we noticed that they were leaving in a rush. Obviously an emergency had pulled them away. Poor guys, they didn't even get to eat. One them stuck behind and talked with a member of the staff, who him helped to package all the food into takeout boxes. Jason's Deli is to be commended for largely consistent product across its locations. My family and I like their sandwiches and also the salad bar, and have also had good service on occasion with catering. Of late I've started to sample other sandwiches on the menu that I'd not tried before and have really taken a liking to the Papa Joe turkey sandwich. There isn't a lot of difference between most locations that I've been able to tell, except of course the locales themselves and the dimensions of the restaurants. The menus are the same and the food is pretty consistent. We used to regularly frequent the 1960/Jones location and then after moving we now visit this 249 and Spring Cypress location. This store has plenty of seating and the service is pretty standard although we haven't had a lot off-script requests for them. I can believe some of the more recent reviews complaining about the food delivery, as the last time we went one of our orders took a while to get to the table. I haven't had issues with the salad bar until now. It seems recently the Jason's Deli chain made a decision to change some of the ingredients in the salad bar and crackers area. They have removed completely the chopped almonds from the selection. Nuts can be expensive, I get it, but I'm sure I'm not the only one that enjoyed the almonds over a salad or perhaps a sprinking of them over the ice cream. I first noticed this a month ago at the Dairy Ashford location and confirmed it a week ago at this 249/Spring Cypress shop. I'm not going to lie, this development is a dissapointment. In addition, there is a mix of cranberries and walnuts in one of the salad bar items and at this store location I noticed insects flying around it. So, while Jason's has traditionally warranted a five star review for its blend of good food, prices, and service, recent corporate policies and the local operator's shortcomings are giving me pause. read more

We are regulars at Jason's Deli -- this is just the new location near SH249 and Spring Cypress. This is the nicest of the area Jason's, with the highlights being an expanded outdoor patio area and a slightly upgraded salad bar and beverage setup. Otherwise, it's your standard Jason's. And lest anyone be confused, Jason's is NOT a deli by my definition. We love Jason's, including most of their sandwiches, but their "real" deli sandwiches (Reubens, pastrami, corned beef, etc.) are, IMHO, abysmal -- really, the only bad things on the menu. I'd be happy if they just changed their name to "Jason's," personally. As always, good, healthy options at reasonable prices. And free ice cream for the kiddos (big and small). 4/25/2015 update: this location still seems to be having growing pains. In both our visits, there have been minor issues with our orders (all rectified), and multiple items have tasted "different" (not for the better). We shall see... read more

Jason's has been around a long time and know what they are doing. This location upholds the franchise standards well. I come here for lunch all the time. The store is always clean, the staff are efficient, helpful and kind. Over the years my tastes have changed and I try to get lower calorie items and Jason's has a whole range. They have plenty of delicious options from the deli world. The quality of the food is obvious. I've had muffulettas, clubs, wraps and salads. The thing that differentiates Jason's from Panera is the salad bar. While Panera has different good salad recipes, the fact that you can serve yourself as much as you want at Jason's is way better than overpaying at Panera for obscure arugula and chunks of fruit (and I like Panera). The only issue I have is with the ecostick sweetener packaging, like Splenda and Sweet 'N Low. The mini packaging drives me insane. You end up wasting half of it because it doesn't easily come out. Go to the larger paper packets, please! This should tell you how good Jason's is that I can only grip about the sweetener packaging. This location is really good. Due to Covid 19, we decided to try Jason's drive through service. We have ordered meals on five occasions and not once was the order filled correctly. I usually go and have the salad bar (and it is usually after a night of drinking lol) and they always have it stocked and cleaned.
