I got my haircut a few months ago and had layers added, and I was very satisfied with the end result. I had never been to this salon before but was always curious since I live on Santana Row and walk past it often. Although I was happy with how my hair turned out, I don't think I'll be returning. When I arrived for my appointment, the stylist was still finishing up with another client and asked me to come back in 15 minutes. I didn't mind and returned shortly after, but when I walked in, I was surprised by how cluttered the salon was. For a location on Santana Row, I expected a more polished and aesthetically pleasing salon. Lastly, the price point was too high for me, I spent over $100 on a haircut. While I really loved the way the stylist cut the layers, the overall experience felt mediocre. I would only recommend this salon if the price isn't a concern for you. read more

Great service overall! I was happy with my haircut and it was easy to get the appointment.

I have extremely frizzy hair (thick, course, wavy and damaged from color and heat). I could never put my hair down. I have gotten Japanese straight perm, keratin treatment, Brazilian blowout multiple times at different salons before and I did not like the result. It came out either too flat or burned my hair. I have been getting color by Michael since 2023 and he recommended Brazilian blowout. I was skeptical due to my past experiences but I gave another try. The result was amazing. My hair is now manageable, looks and feels healthy without loosing volume, I don't even need to style it, and I've received so much compliments. I've had it twice here and my hair is feeling even better now because Brazilian blowout is a cumulative treatment. My only regret is not getting it sooner. I'm looking forward to the next one. Brazilian blow out is a great option if you want shiny, soft hair and the natural texture. It will not flatten your hair like Japanese straight perm. The color service is also very nice. I have sensitive scalp and the color they use is not as irritating (including Aveda). The Color is beautiful and natural, and doesn't cause damages. I don't normally do reviews unless someone is really deserving (either really "horrible" and I don't want someone else to have the same bad experience OR they're really "amazing" and deserve recognition). I came to see Trisha to get my hair lighter for the summer, and to make it shorter since my 7 month old son has recently started to like pulling hair. Stopped leaving bad reviews years ago because whining on here seems pathetic, but considering how angry I am at the moment, it's happening. While I've had long hair my entire adult life, it was short in high school so was NOT afraid or hesitant to cut it super short (asymmetrical with shaved side and undercut). Brought photos of me with short hair and my desired cut hoping it would make my intentions clear. He refused to cut or color as requested- suspect he didn't possess the skill set to accommodate and is likely the bigger issue. The following was said to me: "you see cuts like this more in SF. San Jose is more conservative". Cool, getting punished for wanting a faster commute... I have an appointment tomorrow at the salon across the street so I can blow $100+ after spending $275 (before tip) for a cut that isn't remotely what I wanted. Note: W's delivered.
