The only complaint I had at the time (which I kept to myself) was that when the technician was folding up my towels there was a about a 3x3 inch fresh blood mark on the towel which wasn't from me! I went home upset and washed my feet immediately with soap and water. I work in healthcare and am well educated on sanitation and infection control. It's very difficult to find a nail salon that complies and often there is a communication issue. I thought this salon was a winner and I have been coming here for years. Well...just a week ago I've been noticing pain in my big toe. Itchiness at the border and pain and tingling on my big toe penetrating into my foot and ankle. I felt the need to see the doctor and he questioned if the technician cut at an angle causing an ingrown toenail or pushed too harshly. I am now doing Epsom salt soaks and prescribed an antibiotic, bactrim. It is difficult to find a nail salon where you feel safe in and I thought I found the place. The blood on the towel was enough of a red flag for me to question their cleanliness especially when blood borne pathogens are transmissible in a nail salon. No one wants to get a disease in exchange for pretty nails or a nail infection. Now with this constant nail pain I will not return and cannot recommend this salon anymore. :(

They were the absolute worst nails I've ever had. Multiple feel off after a few days, 4 of them were crooked and 2 of them weren't dried correctly and bubbled and peeled. I am not sure how they have stayed open at the Pruneyard.

Rad & Co is the best salon in the area! The atmosphere is amazing--clean, modern, and inviting. Pareesa, the owner, is incredible and always does an amazing job with my hair. I constantly get compliments on my blonde highlights and cuts! All the stylists are super talented, and they offer a wide range of services, including extensions. My husband, Colby, goes to Sam, the barber, who is hands down the best in town. He's super skilled and meticulous--Colby won't go anywhere else now! The little touches at Rad & Co really make the experience special. They have Starburst, coffee, tea, and even canned cocktails to enjoy during your appointment. They use amazing Unite products that leave my hair feeling great. I've recommended this salon to friends and family, and now they're loyal clients too! Rad & Co is truly a gem. read more

Can we talk about how sad I am that I don't live in California and only got to have Michaela do my hair twice during my visit this summer??! I went to her with a tolerable COVID cut that I'd perfected via TikTok and my kitchen scissors. I showed her what I wanted and more importantly, told her how I wanted to feel when she was done - and she delivered flawlessly! Just like in the movies, I can casually ruffle my hair a bit when its wet and it sits beautifully in this gorgeous shaggy wonder she created for me. At 52, I think the best part was my adult kids and their friends applauding how great it looks. Whenever I get back to California, I'm running back to Michaela. read more

Cassandra returned my initial message and recommended Milan as a great fit to do my hair. They offer complimentary 30 min consultations where you can chat and go through photos with the stylist about what you want. My hair was previously colored, so they also took a test strand to see if my hair would lighten the way they expected. Milan reached out to me after testing and indicated we likely wouldn't be able to achieve the original color I wanted (blue) as my test strand didn't lighten enough, but recommended a vibrant purple instead with some photo references. I really appreciated that they provide this consultation, because it saves both parties the disappointment when the color doesn't come out as expected after hours of working on it. Once you're ready to go, you can make a booking on their website -- Milan let me know the type of service & how long to book for. Each stylist's pricing by the hour is listed clearly on their site (and when making an appointment), and is inclusive of all services, so there's no surprises fees at checkout (additional fee applies if paying by card, but they take zelle/check/cash too). The actual blonding & coloring process took exactly the time that Milan quoted me. She was super friendly and professional the entire process, as were the other staff members in the salon that day, making sure I had water or something to drink. The color came out super well and I'm still loving it. Milan also kindly followed up with some maintenance tips to keep the color vibrant for longer. I have also been getting compliments on my hair from various folks and I can't thank Milan enough for the great experience and awesome hair color I walked out with.
