Aqua Aesthetic can be hard to find (it's in a strip mall) and it may not look like much from the outside, but once you go past the waiting area to the service rooms you feel like you're deep inside a spa. Dark lighting, relaxing music...just what you would expect! Ashely's facials are wonderful and very thorough...my skin feels baby soft afterward. Great if you have problematic skin or acne like me. My only beef is that it's about a 20-30 minute drive from where I live, but Ashley & Aqua Aesthetic are worth it!

On this particular visit, I went for a dermaplane treatment and to get eyebrows shaped/tinted. As I waited in the waiting room, their is a cocktail maker that can make margaritas to lemon drops, it's a variety available at the touch of one button, it's a cocktail Kuerig to say the least! There is a vibe set with a soothing playlist of R&B that put me at ease as I got my treatment. I left feeling like I got a new glow and my face was refreshed. I definitely recommend her services and checking out her local business in the downtown Indy area. Might I add, she has her own line of skincare products, check them out.

Listen I have been on the mission to find an esthetician that could totally gather my face. I have a combination skin of oily and dry, my T-zone gives me the blues. Let me tell you something about the owner Nicole, well let me not put her business out there because I don't want you all thinking that my favor could be a favor for you . Let's say Nicole is very accommodating, very professional and timely. When I intend on patronizing a company, my initial conversation/interaction with the individual is a determining factor of whether or not I will proceed forward with my appointment. I have had many encounters where I have simply not book based on my initial interaction and professionalism with the servicing individual. Nicole responded to me in a reasonable time, and though I did not realize that she had responded to me, she instantly continued her dialogue with me once I re-engaged. The appointment was actually for my children and I, we know that teens/puberty can create a mess of a face, and it has been over a year that I've had a lacklustre facialn myself. I remembered the last time that I took my son so this establishment, that they work wonders! I needed this experience for myself, and Nicole did not disappoint. This was by far the best facial that I've ever had! PERIOD ‼‼‼‼ I ABSOLUTELY MEAN THAT FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY . By the time I walk out of there, I promise you my face was 5 lb lighter, look at the before and after pictures from just this morning (before facial) and afternoon (after) . Now my children are little lighter in complexion, so it may appear that they have been battered and bruised, so I will update a before-and-after of them later . Mecca did an amazing job on my children. I had a chance to chat with her about what regimen they should be following based on their skin issues. We're on it! The spa is a hidden gem tucked away behind LA Fitness off of 62nd and Keystone. It is a small boutique that can be missed. I was raised in the area and whenever I can visit and support and local shops it gives me a sense of nostalgia. The ladies were very welcoming, kind, attentive and throughout. I filled out a quick health survey, met Adrienne and was off to get my service. I have never received ear candling before. Adrienne walked me through the steps and was very gentle and informative. The process takes about 10 minutes in each ear. It is not painful. You may hear a little cracking and feel some warmth from the candle. The candle doesn't go any further than a pair of earphones. You lay on a massage table so you are completely relaxed the comfortable. The attached photos may be a little gross to some but it's even note gross to have that build up in your ears. I really appreciated the customer service and would definitely recommend their services and return.

For my services, I received my eye brows and upper lip waxed. I noticed for these services that two different waxes were used, which I initially didn't think much of. I really loved my eye brow waxing experience. The waxer used brow mapping (yay!) to get the right shape for my face and she taught me how to maintain/fill in my brows. I was very appreciative of that! The ONLY reason I am not giving a 5-star review is because of my upper lip. Unfortunately the wax they was used was a little too warm and it slightly burned me. The picture below is a full day after the waxing and you can see my skin is starting to scab. Overall, I would definitely recommend this place for your eye brows!
