I absolutely love this Belle Tire. I have taken my vehicles in multiple times for service checks alignments and repairs. Every time they are helpful and try to explain things to me the best they can. I am no mechanic and know nothing about cars besides how to change a tire and check my oil. The guys are always nice and everything is always completed before or just about the time they say it will be. But every company has its days where they run behind or things just don't go as planned. Also I have a three year old son and he loves coming here with me. The guys are always so nice to him and make him feel comfortable being there! I wouldn't go to anyone else to service my vehicles! Bought new rims for my jeep and was quoted the "best price" ever. Was told I could sell my stock rims for a good amount. Went ahead with the deal because of that, come to find out my old rims aren't worth anything. Out money I didn't need to spend. I think they work off commission. Issue after issue. I was just here an hour and a half just to get my tire patched, with an appointment. They didn't do any alignment check or any other inspection work on the car. This is partially my fault, but I didn't check my gauges until I got home. They said they were resetting them so it would take another few minutes at the end of trip #1, so 15 minutes later I guess I assumed they did. Had to drive all the way back to get it done. 2.5 hours later.... Update: so that review was thursday..Friday I called Belle Tire because my tire pressure was right back down to 26 PSI. They didn't do anything to fix the tire. Chris offered to do my oil change free and fix my tire and make my car priority. It's Saturday and I've been here 1.5 hours so far. There was a nail in my tire. Still waiting on car. So 4 hours total to get my tire patched. The good news was one of my friends happened to be here today so I talked to her the whole time til now. Chris was the only one apologetic. Sam didn't really seem to care and when I asked why they didn't find the nail in my tire the first time, he said he didn't know and didn't ask. I don't really understand why they felt 4 hours for a tire patching and oil change was acceptable. ---- I hate to say this, but I have come to expect this out of auto mechanics. There's only one that hasn't messed up a job and that's Belle Tire on Carpenter. In my experience at 6 different places, I've had brakes not checked, oil leak out all over the highway, brakes put on backwards, and bad cooling unit put in 3 times at the same place. Being an auto mechanic is a skilled trade and you have to often dump thousands of your own money into tools to get a job anywhere. I hope to see more places take the same pride in their work as the managers. I realize it's top ten hot as hell or freezing cold in car garages comma but unfortunately it's part of the job I hope next time I have to come to this Belle Tire it will be a better experience. Thanks to management for being willing to fix the issue. I know sometimes things just happen and mistakes are made, but unfortunately for me it happens every time I take my car in anywhere except one place. Bad luck I suppose read more

Horrible service. Men stand around and chat with their buddies instead of working. I am in a group of three customers who where promised a time only to have the car sit for hours unaatended. Service counter seems to not talk with mechanics. A man in line has been overcharged and had in authorized work done. As a result of their inefficiency and overpromises, I need to taxi to an airport to rent a car. read more

Poor workmanship. On a rear brake job the mechanic cracked the plastic lug cap cover and knocked two dings with his hammer while doing it. He came out and pointed out some other flaws on the front wheels which weren't supposed to have work done on them never fessed up to the crack or dings.The manager was nice enough to offer to replace the plastic piece but what do you do for a used rim with 2 hammer marks on it. To Belle Tires credit, the manager called back and confirmed he'd ordered a replacement part and asked if he could do anything further for me to alleviate the situation. They were prompt in getting my vehicle in for service and the job was completed in a timely manner. read more

Called to get an appointment for a tire evaluation , rescheduled it while got late for it.but they were kind enough to take me in the same day. Courteous& quick service.respectful staff that explained the work done nicely & answered my other questions in detail. super clean location . My husband tried few other shops on different occasions but liked this one & specifically asked me to come here because he was very happy with their service . I came in on Tuesday and ordered my tires. I explained to them that I had to have my vehicle back ASAP. They told me no problem. I scheduled it for the following Monday. They told me I would be first person up. I arrived at 8am. They didn't even take my vehicle back till almost 10am. They finished my vehicle about 11:30am. When I went out to leave I noticed that they put tires white lettering out. I had asked that the white lettering be put to the inside. I was so pissed and also now an hour late for my Appt that I just left. I should have went next door to Express Tire. I will next time. read more

Stopped in to have a slow leak checked, 3 hr wait. Made an appt. and was told 1 hr max. They get customers with appointments right in. Booked it so I could go to work straight from there. When I checked in nobody informed me they were running behind. At no time, during the 50 minutes I sat there, did anybody inform me either. At 50 minutes I looked out and saw my car still in the spot I parked it. When I asked, I was told "they are busy today" I was also told no cars had left since my appt. time. (Not true, the woman I was sitting next had left with her car 10 minutes earlier.) I was told when a stall opened up I would be next, but he had no idea when that would be. Horrible customer service. I don't wait that long at doctors appointments. I need new tires in a few months, won't be buying them here. I went in with a slow leak in my tire and since I purchased my tires with Belle Tire I was supposed to get free patch work. When I brought it in they told me I needed a new tire. I told them I did not want a new tire and just to patch it. They told me they would not patch it for me because the tire was too worn, The guy behind the counter was very rude. So I brought it to Discount Auto and they patched the tire there for me, no charge and told me I still had enough thread to last me a while. Very bad customer service at Belle Tire in Belleville! They lost a customer for life. They are just about trying to sell you tires to make money, even if you don't need them. Very dishonest. The worst! read more

Recently purchased a new set of tires for my son's car. There was a $70 rebate on the tires plus a $50 Belle Tire rebate. I told them to change the oil while it was there. When I picked up the car they charged me for the oil change. I asked about the $50 Belle rebate and was told it would only apply to $200 or more of service st Belle. Second, there was a "Freedom Plan Advantage Agreement" and a "Lifetime Balance, Rotation and Flat Repair" The first was $17 per tire or $68. The second is almost identical coverage at $19.99 per tire or $79.96. Belle is not good at explaining the two so it was almost like buying two additional tires. Add this to the $50 rebate I will never use and I feel I got ripped off. read more

Came in at 4:15 for a vehicle inspection. I was told this would take 1-1.5hours to complete. I ask, would this be done by 6pm? He said it should be. 6 pm is when I had to leave. So I waited for half an hour and noticed my vehicle had nobody working on it. This is 4:45pm and I ask why isn't anybody working on it? The worker told me people are busy and it usually has a 1 hour wait... Wdf? I told him I had to leave by 6pm and he knew this so why did he tell me it will be done by 6? If he can't do math propely for time at least tell me it may be a 1 hour waiting time so I can do the time calculation myself instead of making me waste a half an hour waiting. If the wait time was 1 hour and the job takes around 1.5 hours then of course I wouldn't of had enough time. I would of left and came another day. Seriously, unless he's just stupid or negligent, I left extremely angry at his performance. read more

When I got off of work, I noticed that a rear tire on my car was completely flat. Not a big surprise as I knew these tires were almost bald. After putting on my "tire donut" in freezing cold without gloves I knew I had to do something, even though my financial situation at that moment was not good. I stopped at Walmart in Belleville to see if the tire could somehow be repaired, seeing that it came at a bad time for my finances. Since the tread on the tire were down to the wear bars I was told it was unfixable. Oh well, so what's the cost of a new one? I was quoted a price that seemed a bit high so I made my way across the street to Belle tire, where I was also told that the tire was not worth saving. So I explained my situation to Chris, who seemed sympathetic and wanted to help. He then quotes me an out the door price for a new tire that was better than walmarts. Granted, it may not be the finest make of tire, but it does have tread. The wait would not be long either. Long story short, I appreciated that Chris was willing to work with me and I told him that as soon as I have more money, I'll be back to get a duplicate tire put on the other rim. Dropped my car off at 8 a.m. (The time they open) to replace my struts I had under warranty. I'm not sure if customers under warranty aren't a priority or if it's just me, but they had my car from 8 to 5 .. almost the time they closed. I called 3 times that day to check on the status of my car and I was told they were working on it this whole time. It wasn't until I showed up at the store where my car was already in the parking lot. Then I spoke to the guy at the register and it magically was updated in the system at that time (go figure). He pulls my keys out of his pocket. Not in the folder with all my info but his pocket. Then he tells me they weren't able to do a full tire rotation just the front but he did not feel the need to call and inform me of this until after the fact. Paid for the half ass alignment and labor totaling $250 and went on my way.. The next day I noticed a very loud and annoying squeaking noise coming from my shocks (this noise was not present before belle tire got ahold of my car) .. I waited a few days thinking it'd go away. Nope. So I called up to belle tire and get this, they can't make an appointment to fix whatever they screwed up or missed I'd have to drop my car off again (probably for another 9 hours) so they could screw something else up. No thanks. I will have my mechanic fix their screw ups. I do not recommend this place to drop your car off. Maybe if you have time to sit in the lobby for a few hours and keep an eye on them it'd be a different story. read more

Walked in on 12/22/15 at 5:30pm with a nail in my tire that I picked up on the expressway.(I-94) While traveling from Chicago to Detroit. I was denied service and told to come back the following day. There was one customer waiting, and the technicians were just hanging out in the showroom. Waiting to close at 6pm. Upon leaving and heading for my hotel downtown. My tire went completely flat. I had to put my temporary spare on the side of the freeway. All because a 10 minute repair couldn't be done to my tire, a half hour before closing. I would never recommend this business to anyone. They definitely DO NOT put the customer first. They also put my health and safety at risk. read more
