I had two tires replaced by Belle Tire Store and the first thing I noticed was the "low tire pressure" light came on. I called Belle and the agent that had worked with me was Clayton, he said just to drive around on them and that would take care of the problem, which was baloney of course. Every tire has a label placed somewhere stating the amount of pounds of air they should have in them. So I just took my car to the Mazada dealership that I use all the time and they checked them and put the correct amount of air in them. The really bad part of this whole story is Belle told me the front struts were leaking and the parts and labor would be right at $1,000.00. I told them not to do anything about that. I then took my car back to the Mazada dealership in South Bend, IN and had them check the front struts. They reported to me that the struts were absolutely fine. Back to Belle I went and explained that information. Clayton's response was that he never doubted his guys there at Belle. I said I didn't doubt the Mazada dealership because they could have just told me the same thing as Belle and took it upon themselves to replace the struts so they could make the $1,000.00 but they were honest about it. There's no doubt that Belle was trying to hoodwink me about the struts because I'm a woman and they figured I didn't know much about cars. This changes my whole opinion about them and I don't plan to use them again except to get the services that come with the tire purchases. read more

Love this company! Great employees. Great service. Honest, too. I recommend the without hesitation! They checked my brakes and even though I didn't need new ones yet, they dusted and cleaned them - free of charge. The tires I have purchased from them, the mechanic work, the brakes on a previous car - all wonderfully done. Free tire rotation. Took almost 3 days to get my vehicle fixed... Price was reasonable and my car is fixed, but the lack of timeliness on just brakes and tires I will not be back... Also if you say you're going to call someone back in a min do so. 45 min to an hour is unacceptable to just answer a simple question!! read more

Coming here twice was the worst thing I could have ever done. The first time, I was changed for $19.99 for Labor and they didn't put the tire on my car. The second time, I came there with my flat tire in my trunk and a donut tire on my car during a snow storm. I was with my two nephews ( 7 and 2 years of age) when they fixed my flat, but informed me that they couldn't put the tire on the car for me because they "DIDN'T HAVE TIME"!!! I just paid $90 for a new tire which again includes the $19.99 for Labor and they can't put my tire on my car. Worst customer service ever! I managed to spend two hours taking the donut off and putting my fixed tire on by myself while the kids were in the car when it could have been done in 5 mins. Thanks!!! Where to start? Called to get a quote on 2 new tires and an alignment for our daughters Ford Escape. Price was great so we made an appointment. After rearranging work schedules we went to drop the car off and were told they didn't have the tires in stock. 3 days later we took the car back in for the job to be done. I picked it up right at closing time and soon noticed as I was driving home that the alignment was not even done. Had to once again rearrange work schedules to take it back. When doing that job they saw that a different tire had damage, likely from hitting a pot hole. Told us they could send it out for repair - no need for an appointment, just bring it in anytime. At this point I was done, wanted to take it somewhere else for that, but my hisband wanted to give them another chance. Before driving over there I called to make sure someone would be able to put the spare tire on for our daughter if she brought it in. "Yes, that's not a problem" was the response. Told them she would be there shortly. She drove there and they said they could not put the spare on. She came home, husband put the spare on and took the tire to them the next day. Job got done, but even that was a joke - the person didn't even know which tire was hers to put back on -he physically held one up from the back room and yelled out to her to ask her if that was her tire!! Biggest joke of a business. Needless to say we will NOT be returning! read more

Im looking for 3 things in a auto/tire repair shop: 1 price 2 connivence and 3 competence. They are 90% of the time the least expensive and 100% convenient. I've been here probably 8 separate occasions and i have never had to wait to get my vehicle in at the grape road OR the portage location. They fix nails in tires for free and outside have the only place left with FREE AIR. Theres a reason they are a huge chain. Dont get swindled by shady mechanics who make u drop off your car overnite to rotate the tires.. read more

Today was my very first time going to Belle Tire and it definitely will not be the last! I usually go to Discount Tire or Firestone. But after my experience today with Belle Tire I will be going there! They have very good prices. And also, their staff was very friendly! Their assistant manager was amazing! He was kind, professional, and he helped me out alot. I was amazed with how pleased i was with everything overall. Plus, the inside was very clean, which is always a plus for me! I wish there was a way to review service and a second for price. My rating is based solely on the price. I was in desperate need of an oil change and could not get in to the dealer for my free service so I thought I would give Belle Tire a chance, how much can an oil change cost on an Acadia? The prices were not posted online, but the average for our area is 24.99. When I got my bill I was charged over $66 dollars for a simple oil change. I cannot afford to go back no matter how nice the guys were that helped me. read more

I always have used Discount Tire and in the future I will go back to them. Went to Belle to try out the new place in town. Plus I had a $20 off coupon. And boy was I pleased when they had a $50 off in store coupon. Beware the alinement check. I'm betting nearly everyone who agrees to the check winds up needing one, for $80. Good bye $50 off coupon. I agreed to one against my better judgement. Only because I just put on new tires and I had just bought this '05 Honda Civic as a to and from work car and because it did drift a little on the road. Only afterward when the car's ride didn't improve did I look further into the cause. It needed struts all the way around. One in the rear was actually blown and showed signs of leakage. I called Belle Tire to address this issue. I felt the kid who did the check and determined an alinement was necessary should have caught that the struts were bad. I mean they are trained, right? This is what they do, yes? I requested an $80 refund. No refund... They would put on struts for $900 and wave the cost of another alinement. Gee thanks! My son and I put on 4 new struts from Rock Auto for a cost of $300. Got good struts too. And this week I'm going to a 'real' auto repair shop in Mishawaka for an alinement...$54 at Kyle's Auto Repair. So I learned a lesson. Steer (lol) clear of Belle Tire. Stick with whom ever you have used and trusted in the past. Belle is too gimmicky and too un-professional. They were not as well organized or quick as Discount Tire always has been. read more
