Being a former Bridgestone/Firestone employee, I appreciated their taking the initiative to verify the Costco price and purchased the tires from the Naperville store. This was the second Firestone store that I shopped and the other store couldn't be bothered to price match. There is a soft spot in my heart for the Firestone stores, but not enough to pay more money for the same tire offered elsewhere. If someone from corporate reads this, give the staff at this location a pat on the back for going the extra mile to get a sale.

Kept me in my budget and even worked their extended coverage into it (these are for a big RV and I had a tire failure two years ago from faulty installation, so the coverage made sense). After the manager heard about my previous issue, he told me at pickup that his two most experienced techs did the work. I feel like I got good tires for a decent price and I was treated like a friend.

She then asked them to install the spare tire and the service advisor (Robert) then started huffing and puffing about how they couldn't do it because the tire had a wheel lock. My wife saw them search for the wheel lock in the trunk and they allegedly could not find it so they refused to change the spare tire. However they happily quoted her 4x brand new tires and then tried to pressure her into changing all tires. Somehow they were willing to work through the wheel lock if she purchased 4x tires but not to replace the spare. The scammy pressure tactics frustrated her so she walked away. When she got home I looked in the same place they searched and the wheel lock key was nicely stashed next to the jack in the same place all other Lexus stores them. Go figure. I happily made my way to Costco Tires who were helpful and bought 4x tires with better warranty, better customer service and no scammy sale tactics.

I took my minivan in to the Acorn location…read moreon Ogden in Naperville because the tire pressure sensor light continued to come on, regardless of the tire pressure. Acorn had installed new tires on several of my cars, and I felt relatively good about the service. However, this time was different. I needed four new tire pressure sensors at a cost of over $800. I agreed because they had my trust. All four sensors were installed, but just a day later, the light on the dashboard came on. They admitted they needed more time to sync the four tire sensors to the control unit. One more trip resulted in what I thought was a successful syncing of the sensors with the unit. However, just a day later, the light came back on again. I took it back in, and they removed the four new tire pressure sensors and replaced them with other sensors. I was good to go...or so I thought...until the light came on again. It turns out, Acorn did not have the proper technology to sync the tires with the central unit, so they refunded my money (in 9-12 business days) and told me I would have to take the van to Toyota. I appreciated their honesty. However... Two days later, one of my front tires lost pressure at an alarming rate. I refilled and watched the pressure reduce further. I took the van back and found out the tire had a leaky valve stem. They replaced it and I was on my way. Now that I'm home for a few hours, I've checked the tire pressure, and all four - after spending three hours in a cold garage, are reading 40 PSI on all four tires. I'm done. Why, after telling the desk rep that all four tire pressures were all over the map, would all four be so out of whack? If you use Acorn, do so at your peril. I hate to say this, but my experience has been more than informative. I have to find a new tire source.

Second, he was never contacted when work was done to pick up the car. When he came to pick up the car at the end of the day, work was done, but he had to wait to get it another 20 min or so, even though only one person was working and three were talking among each others. The worst customer services, starting from giving wrong prices to careless behavior with customers and no apology.

I made the mistake of trying a new place for a brakes job. The bill was over $900 for front brakes…read moreand pads!?!? That was with a 20% off coupon. Then 4 months later the brakes were bad again. They replaced them free of charge. This time it only lasted a year. I didn't give Belle another chance. I went to my regular place I trust and have gone to for many years. The same brake job was done there for $300. They couldn't even identify the cheap brake pads I got from Bel Air in the photo attached. Side note, Belle told me I also needed a new headlamp, but it was just loose and I could tell and fixed it in a minute. Stay clear of this place, they can't be trusted.
