Blew out a tire on a pothole (surprise, surprise in Michigan), so had my car towed here. James was my customer service rep. I was treated nicely, and my car was taken back before end of day. I was told the rim had cracked and they had to order a new one. It was end of day, so he said to call him in the morning. Called in the morning, he said he was on it already and he'd call back. I was going out of town that morning, and he never called. Two more days go by and I call back to see what's going on. Says he's called multiple vendors, can't find it. So, I go to another Belle Tire. Guy orders my rim in 5 mins. I discover that my old rim had not been put in my trunk, as I assumed it had. To avoid having to buy a $70 air pressure sensor, I drove back to Woodhaven (on the donut tire) to get my rim and sensor back. At first they were going to give me the sensor, but not the rim. I pushed and they gave me the rim. Go back to the other Belle Tire (by southland mall), and it turns out my rim was perfectly fine. They threw a new tire on it and it was good to go. So, what was going on? I'm convinced Woodhaven was trying to rip me off. They knew I didn't need a new rim, but were trying to squeeze more money out of me. On top of that, they strung me along for 3 days while my car had a donut tire and couldn't go on the highway. AVOID THIS PLACE. I have been going to Belle Tire for a decade. Today I would have to say was my worst experience. After my car gets pulled into the bay I'm advised by Darren Edge, store manager that my car needs control arms replaced at the cost of additional $1200. I was fine with him pointing this out. What I wasnt okay with was him telling me he can't do an alignment unless I spend the $1200. Regardless they were fine putting 4 new tires on and had no problem taking the money for that. What Darren is unaware of is my mechanic is a certified Ford mechanic who looked at what Darren estimated and said no way that nuts. The certified Ford Mechanic advised me never to go back there. Thankfully there are trustworthy companies out there that completed my alignment. read more

I was never so mad. I waited and was first in line when the service center opened. They have always taken walk ins and it was great. They always kept a rack or two for walk-in customers. The service person told me "We are booked" unless you are buying tires you have to drop off your vehicle for an entire day. I asked what you do not keep a lift OPEN for walkin's anymore? No, he said its a 3-4 hour job and you have a 3-4 hour wait. I went to a competitor, got right in and it took less than an hour and it was half the price. If I could give no stars, I would. I went in just to fix a flat tire. When I got my car back, my wheel was misaligned, my car was not driving straight, and every bump in the road I hit, my car fishtailed. Now I drove all winter in the blizzards and never batted an eye, but this was really unnerving. I called up Belle Tire and they told me yes, they could look at it, for $120+. I mean, they messed up my car and wanted me to pay for their errors, which does not seem right to me at all. I took my car into a master mechanic who told me my front rear lateral bar was bent and it was causing my tire to rub against my car. When he took off my tire he discovered they did not replace all my lugnuts on that tire. I went in for a simple fix and came out with something that was incredibly dangerous and I am not pleased. I had a screw in my tire all week and have had to stop by morning and evening to fill it with air (we all know their air is free, but I'm thankful for the convenience). But that is not the only reason I'm giving them 5 stars. When I finally got a chance to make an appointment, I walked in and they said they could do it right then and there. Took my truck in for a alignment and was having a burning smell. Said I needed a control arm and ball joint on driver side. Go back 2 days later to have this done. He said the mechanic said I needed the other side done to. His excuse was he overlooked it. Hmmm ok. So I had the service done only because I was there and wanted done. My mistake. Still had the burning smell and also had a loud noise now. They gave me every excuse for the loud noise. So decided to take somewhere else. Come to find out I had a stuck caliper. I went to this Belle Tire location to have a windshield chip repaired. The price for this service was very competitive. They don't require an appointment either. I arrived around 3 PM on a weekday and there was no wait. Typically with windshield repair there is no guarantee the repair will not be visible. I was, however, always told the sooner you get the repair done the greater the chances of a less noticeable repair. I had my repair done less than 24 hours after a stone chipped my windshield on the freeway. After Belle Tire completed the repair not only was it noticeable, it looked worse. The 3 small cracks that had extended about 1/8" from the chip were now 1/2" long. Unsatisfied I went to another glass repair shop to have the repair looked at and see if there was anything they can do. They said although a repair was made it appears to have been done improperly. Unfortunately you only get one shot at fixing a windshield chip. I was told my windshield would most likely crack in the future. That statement was accurate. 3 weeks after getting my chip fixed the cracks are spreading. I have had windshields repaired in the past and this is the first time I had such poor results. I wouldn't recommend visiting this location for windshield repair. read more

He was very polite and professional and took his time explaining all my options and was able to squeeze me in this morning due to a cancellation. They were prompt with working on my car and were kind enough to check my brakes to see if they also needed to be replaced. Brought a rare Japanese Honda to these guys to do a simple tire rotation, because I didn't have the tools atm to do it myself. Guy took my car keys and took my car off the lot for 20-30 min. No where to be found. Eventually a few weeks later I received my tools back from a friend borrowing them and jacked up the car. The entire bottom end of my car had a 6 foot 4 inch gash along the entire undercarriage and my 600 custom muffler was bent in the process. It's against company policy to take someone's car off the lot especially without permission and my car was technically stolen. The manager of this shop denied any wrong doing and treated me like I was a complete piece of trash. Instead of being honest and admitting the wrong doing they screwed me over. Destroyed a car that was show quality and had never even seen salt and had zero rust in it. The car is 25 years old and never had a scratch on it. I had an estimate done for damage and it was close to 4000 dollars including muffler that was annihilated. If you care about your car at ALL I would not let these teenagers steal and or man handle your vehicles. I don't recommend this store location to anyone and the manager should be fired and the kid who stole my car should be arrested for grand theft auto, and criminal damage. read more

I don't ever wanna leave bad reviews but I was quite disappointed. I came in Saturday about a tire replacement- the man at the desk was very considerate letting me know that it was very unlikely they could get it done today because they were so busy. He took down my info from my car, checked to see if they had a replacement tire anyway and although he didn't he had one almost identical. I made an appointment for Monday at 5 due to work, again the gentleman was very nice who helped me that day. Well along came Monday and I checked in, no one else here. At 5:50 I finally went up to the front desk to ask them to cancel the alignment they were going to do after putting in the new tire. The man asked "are they working on it now?" I replied "no my car is still sitting out front". He went out and moved it, so why on earth was I waiting an hour with my car sitting out front when my appointment was at 5? Again I completely am understanding if they are running late or behind, but no communication whatsoever and on top of that didn't even know my car wasn't taken out back. I know these things take time but I am the ONLY one here with one car in the garage. I just left and my tire gauges are completely off. I was getting back passenger replaced however my front tire pressure changed completely while my back did not. I called to ask them and was asked "is your car here now?" .... no I just said I was just there and their tire pressure changed when I checked it when I just left. read more

I called today to schedule a tire rotation and was told by Chris that they don't schedule tire rotations, I would just have to come in, so I asked what time do they close and he said 5pm, now mind you this was at approx. 10:30 am on Friday 1/2/21 when I got there 30 mins later, I was asked if I could leave it until Monday, who the hell would leave their vehicle over the weekend for damn tire rotation! When I stated that I had just talk to Chris 30 mins ago, I was told that they probably got 10-15 customers in during that 30 mins. REALLY!!! What's funny is there was a man in front of me that was a walking in also, who wanted to get his rims changed to a different tire, which takes a hell of a lot longer than a tire rotation and the man behind me was a walk in also who wasn't turned away either. Both the men in front and behind me were a different race. Now I will let you figure the rest out. Also my daughter had an issue the same Belle Tire approx. 6 months ago. Stopped in on Allen Road location @ 7:30pm do to a nail in my tire, walked inside the store, about 5 workers standing behind counter, asked if I could get my tire repaired, the write up guy said they close in 30 min and that wasn't enough time to repair it and that there was an air hose on the side of the building. Nice way to treat a senior citizen in need of help. He told me I could leave the car or come back in the morning, yah I could walk home, about 5 miles. If you need tires don't go to belle tire. I went there last Monday and was told the tires I wanted would be in on Wednesday. I went back on Thursday to see if the tires were in and was told there was a mistake on the inventory. The store they ordered them from only had 3 of the 4 tires I needed so they did not send any of them. No tires no phone call. Now they said they would reorder them and they would be in on Saturday. Bought my tires here and I'm so relieved and glad that I did, when I returned to have a flat fixed turns out I had a broken valve attached to a sensor in my tire and they were able to get it fixed for me FREE of charge along with repairing my flat from a nail puncture at no cost. I took in my car to Belle Tire for rear brakes, and they quoted me over $700 and said I needed all new rotors and brakes all around. Took it to Gorno Ford (dealer) the next day and they said the front had over 50% of their life left and were in fine shape. The rear brakes did need to be replaced but the rotors were fine. The cost at THE DEALER was $180 when Belle Tire wanted over $700. I went back to Belle Tire and they maintain the dealer is wrong. Posting this story on Facebook netted me three other stories from friends who had also been quoted repairs they didn't need by Belle Tire in Woodhaven. read more

I came to get a chip in my windshield fixed. Well the next thing I know they had said they were drilling on it and now there is a huge crack in windshield and it will be $250 to replace!!!
