They also serve breakfast, all day... 'til closin', Hun. OK, the waitresses are not 'country' like that. Review is based on two lunches: 1. Bacon Cheese Burger: Average. A more traditional burger, a bit better than average, but nothing special. 2. Chicken-fried Steak: Average, but slightly different. Tough meat needs that serrated knife. Breading is crisp, but slightly overcooked, and thinner and less bumpy than the typical at other places. Cream gravy includes bacon chips, is slightly yellowish and more liquidy than the typical at other places. Texas Toast was not buttered (therefore, not Texas Toast). Taste was OK, even if a slight bit different from a typical CFS. Side salad: Below average. Old lettuce (browning edge), and some leaves were clearly wilted. Croutons were not crisp. Bleu cheese dressing clearly from a bottle, but at least it has a smattering of bleu cheese solids, small though they be. String Beans contain bacon chips. Oddly, some beans looked fresh (brighter green), and some looked canned (darker green). Tasted ok and better than Black-Eyed Pea's. Blackberry cobbler was on the better side of good, but it just didn't seem home made. Because I asked if it came with enough berries, I got a lot of berries (thank you, Belle). Atmosphere: Looks like it was decorated by a woman named Belle: a bit of country, but not overdone. Cute/wise sayings are painted on the wall a few places. Cheerful. Yet to find a place that just says "wow" for breakfast in the area, we found Belle's to be pretty good and the best yet outside of the breakfast taco realm. They do have breakfast tacos, but I opted for something more traditional. For me it was the biscuits and gravy and an order of home fries. In the biscuit eater world, there are two kinds of biscuits... the flaky and the fluffy. These are most definitely the fluffy variety, moist and fall apart in beautiful bready (is that a word?) chunks. The sausage gravy on top was flavorful, just wish there was a bit more of it on my plate. There was one little orange slice on the plate which was the oddest and most out of plate garnish I've ever seen. It's nice to add color to food... but this just didn't belong there. The home fries we thought were great. Nothing dramatic... just nicely seasoned and cooked to perfection. My other and often better half had some eggs with some stuff mixed in them... they were just okay. Service was friendly and quick. Decent size crowd at 8am on a Saturday without being busy. Good Breakfast food, Good Customer service! We have lived in the area for about a little over 8 months now and we finally tried Belle's out a couple of months ago when we had company visit us from out of town... We all got various types of breakfast foods and dug in! The pancakes were nice and fluffy and the French toast was good too! The only mishap had to be the corned beef hash I did not enjoy it and noone else tried it either. It was dry and tasteless, so I would not order that again... That wouldn't stop me from coming again. The other morning my DH ordered the breakfast taco and that was one fulfilling taco! Since we have lived on the north side of town we've been looking for a good breakfast taco spot, guess we have found it!! All I asked was what was popular and what they would recommend on the menu and two servers just looked at me and said they didn't know and walked off. I ended up getting the Hill Country Breakfast. The french toast was good, but it was burnt on one side and I could taste sweetness and bitterness at the same time. That consisted of 2 eggs, choice of fries or hash browns, and choice of toast (white or wheat) or biscuit. For $3.99, it's a bargain. There was nothing special about. I've had this type of meal at Ihop before and it's usually good there, but this was a bit of a disappointment. My toast was burnt and hard. The hash browns lacked a lot of flavor, and eggs were severely bland. Grandpa must of been out of his game when he was cooking this plate. For $3.99, it was decent. I really wouldn't recommend this. Although my plate wasn't great, my friends did enjoy their meals. Even though my plate wasn't delicious, I would come back to try the other breakfast plates. The smell of goodness hits my nose as we walk in. The service is very nice and respectful and there are quite a good amount of customer. I ordered the chicken fried steak with biscuit... and its the most moist, crumbly, delicious biscuit ever had. The country gravy is flavorful and yummy. My gf ordered the huevos rancheros and the only complaint she has is they didn't give enough chorizo. The pancake is the cream of the crop. It is light, fluffy and tons of flavor. I was late to meet my family for lunch and they had ordered me a burger. It had all kinds of stuff I don't like on it. I wouldn't complain of course but when a staff member noticed I was picking things off and trying to get sauce off the bun he offered to give me different buns! My boyfriend introduced me to this cute little country restaurant! It's definitely laid back and a place to go for people who are craving brunch or lunch. The first time I came here, I got a cheeseburger and fries, it was good but didn't like their buns, it wasn't bad I guess bc I'm use to the usual regular hamburger buns. Overall it was still good! And their honey mustard is awesome! Today I got eggs Benedict and this is the best eggs Benedict I've ever had! Their hollandise sauce was so good and had so much flavor. The best part is that they hooked up the sauce! I couldn't get enough of it, the biscuit was kind of overcooked where I couldn't cut much of it. My sides that I got was hash browns and they were cooked perfectly and crispy! My boyfriend got French toast, sausage patties, sunny side up eggs and hash browns! I took a bite of the French toast and it tasted like cinnamon toast! It was delicious. The staff are very friendly and gives great services as well. This is like the second or 3 time I come here. The first two times were good! This time not so much. Today I ordered the beef fajita quesadilla. When I got my order the plate looked delicious. However when I bite into the quesadilla the meet is not fajita or chicken. I couldn't even tear the meet with my teeth . When confronting one of the manager she stated they DO NOT SERVE BEEF FAJITA. So of course my husband, daughter and I decided we wanted to try a new breakfast place out and my sister in law had mentioned Belle's so I decided to give it a try. Can i say we were not disappointed. My husband indulged in the country breakfast which consisted of scrambled eggs, thick cut bacon, toast, and grits with cheese was basic but that's the type of breakfast he loves. My daughter's request was pancakes and bacon which she loved ate ever bit. The bacon was cooked to perfection with the perfect crisp. I tried the Santa Fe Omlet which i must say was plentiful and filling with a serving of home fries and a homemade biscuit. The biscuits are good but have a pinch too much of baking soda. Let me say that the 4 star rating is a bit of an average. I would give it only a 3 on the taste, but a 5 on the service and a 4 on the ambiance... Maybe a 4 and a half, as the Spice Girls came on while I was there. I went there because I was looking for a new brunch place for my weekend writing place. My old location shut down, and I've yet to find a suitable replacement. This is a little bit out of the way for most, since it's almost to Spring, but it's worth the trip. I had the Migas, but substituted the chorizo for bacon. My bacon was burnt. I think probably they had already cooked bacon and then put it in with my Migas, and so it was over cooked by the time I got it. In fact, I'm sure that's what happened because my food came out maybe 5 minutes after I ordered. I think they were prepared for a lunch/brunch rush, and while there was a steady flow of traffic, it wasn't too busy. It was never so busy that my tea went empty, which is a major factor in why I'd give it a full 5 stars for service. The cobbler, which I saw here on Yelp first (a major deciding factor in choosing this restaurant, actually) was good, but not spectacular. I got the ice cream with it because usually blackberry cobblers can be a bit tart, and I thought the sweetness from the ice cream might help, but the ice cream didn't have much flavor, so it didn't really help. My waitress suggested the peach cobbler twice, and I think next time I'll listen to her. It was a good experience, had a friendly vibe to it. Everyone was smiling, staff and customers alike. And nearly 9 hours later, I'm just beginning to think about eating another meal for the day, so it's hearty, stick to your ribs stuff! I'll definitely be back! read more

Well, I was served a half black avocado that I didn't eat . What makes me sad is that -how can you serve food like that? when you can visually see that it went bad . Great experience I had at this location for breakfast. Food looked and tasted magnificent. Service was fast, up and running. Young lady was on point on ordering and bringing it up as soon as we order. No more then 4 min we would have it in front of us. The location was nice had a country feel to it. Makes it feel real comfortable. Price were reasonable for the quality I understand y it could be a dollar or two more then Denny or ihop. It's worth it. But overall the place energy was really vibrate. People of all ages in there and just great times n conversations all over some good food to top or off. Keep up the good work. read more
