10/10 Miami Spice Experience! I visited Belly Fish in Coconut Grove for Miami Spice and had such an amazing experience! I started with the Shrimp Aguachile with Tomatillo Sauce, which was absolutely delicious so fresh, flavorful, and the perfect way to start the meal. For my main course, I went with the Omakase Combo and paired it with the sake flight. Everything was beautifully presented and tasted just as good as it looked. And then came dessert...the warm Liger cookie with a dollop of vanilla ice cream really took it home for me! Beyond the food, the ambiance is aesthetically beautiful and has such a great vibe. The service was also wonderful and made the entire experience even better. Everything was truly 10/10 from start to finish. I'll definitely be back!

The salmon tostada and the eel sauce sushi with nigiri are definitely dishes I would order again. Service was friendly and accommodating, especially considering the short notice. The ambiance is bright and comfortable, although it feels more suited for a shorter dining experience than sitting for an extended period.

Sooo I have never gave raw fish a try and I was nervous about it but I broke thru and ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT. Everything was delicious and the Miami spice deal is the way to go honestly amazing deal for amazing fresh food. All the appetizers and entrees are to die for. The service and ambiance was amazing I will def be back for more. I love how they have a section just got the take out.

Their sushi and sashimi was very yummy! I normally order their food via Uber eats but I decided to go in person in the ambience was nice. It's a small restaurant but very cozy.

Went to Belly Fish for Miami Spice and really enjoyed it! Everything was fresh, the portions were great and very filling. Our server was attentive and took the time to throughly explain the items on the menu and give recommendations. Cute spot with a great vibe. Definitely worth checking out!

I love this place!! Been here twice and came this week for the Miami spice. Amazing amazing menu!! Seriously one of the best restaurants with Miami spice menus. And only 50 bucks you get an appetizer, main dish ( a lot of sushi) and dessert!!!! The fish was sooo fresh. Seriously the best. And the hand rolls are such a good idea!!! I had never seen taco hand rolls before but I loved it and my husband is stealing the idea to do at home now!! Our waiter was super nice and the restaurant is cute. They also accommodated me bc I'm pregnant and can't eat tuna they gave me more salmon and torched it. I will be coming back here!!!

Obsessed. Cannot wait to go again. It's a small and intimate space. The spicy hamachi tostada and the hamachi sashimi plate were my favorites (but I'm biased). We had the crispy rice tuna and salmon. The flavor was great. I didn't try the red miso soup but it received positive feedback. For the main dish we both chose the belly combo. One was combined with the snow crab California rainbow roll and the other hamachi roll. The rainbow roll was the better choice. The hamachi roll in my opinion needed something more for a contrast of texture. Overall it was an excellent experience and I would definitely recommend.

I was craving a tuna tostada and this popped up. I'm so glad I decided to order and try this place. It's a bit out of the way but I do believe the freshness and the quality make it worth it. I ordered the tuna tostada x2, spicy hamachi tostada, crispy rice with spicy tuna, spicy tuna hand rolls. The tostadas were so good and although I loved them both, the hamachi was my favorite. Loved the hand rolls and crispy rice and felt like they each had a good amount of spicy tuna. Such a fun and satisfying meal. Excellence quality. I can't wait to eat in and get the full experience

Yall. I left STUFFED after having this tasting menu from Belly Fish. I'm usually not willing to do tasting menus because of the lack of variety for the price and I usually also leave hungry, but not with this one. The pricing is great and the portions are fat! I got the red miso crab soup, yellowfin tuna tataki & chirashi bowl with everything. If I had ordered that off the normal menu it would have been $57 vs the $49. Save some money and eat great with this bomb tasting menu. The space is gorgeous, we didn't have to wait for a table and our server was amazing. Ask for Dario when you go in!

This place had a buy one get one free deal on uber eats so decided to try it and it did not disappoint! The sushi was fresh and it was all super tasty.

We visited Belly Fish on a Sunday afternoon for lunch with friends. The authenticity and quality of the food really stand out -- everything tasted fresh, clean, and thoughtfully prepared. A fun fact that make Belly Fish even more interesting:The co-founder and chef, Rodrigo Bravo, trained under renowned chefs like Joan Roca and Masaharu Morimoto, which explains the elevated, fine-sushi feel. Overall, Belly Fish was a gem!

Not a single thing i had here was anything but exceptional. The quality of fish they are serving is unmatched. Honestly, some of the freshest sushi ive had in miami. The rolls are very simple and i enjoyed that so much because you know they're not trying to cover up the taste of sub par food with sauces and deep fried oils. The miso soup especially is what sold me. its not clear or almost white like most places, you can tell its made traditionally. Adore adore!! The place itself is a bit small and i do wish the seats were more comfortable but the service was amazing! I felt bad because people were walking in AT closing time (some even 3 mins after) and they were still seating them. Kinda hope they stop that practice though because the staff seemed a bit overworked. My mom and i will make it a habit to eat here often! Outstanding food!!

We chose the Oma Deluxe because we wanted the entire experience. Francisco explained each sushi and what part of the fish we were eating. Each dish was brought out separately. There were about 9 pieces of different cuts of fish. They were delicious! My daughter had Sake and I had Non-alcoholic beer. Both went fine with our meal. Afterwards, we were served dessert. What a great experience! Give it a try when you can. Later, we went upstairs to ASTRA restaurant and bar to further enjoy our evening with beautiful views of Miami. Parking is mostly limited street parking though, so plan ahead. This spot is more about curated tastings, sashimi, nigiri, and handrolls rather than specialty rolls, so don't expect a huge roll menu. We ordered the sashimi assortment, white fish tasting, seared salmon, bluefin tuna tasting, unagi foie gras, and a few handrolls including blue crab and negi toro. Everything tasted super fresh and flavorful, especially the bluefin and unagi foie gras. Portions are on the lighter side though, so we left satisfied but not totally full. Cedrick was awesome and really made the experience better. He knew the menu inside and out and explained everything perfectly. Definitely worth checking out if you're in Wynwood and want quality sushi without the overly trendy vibe.

All the food was rich and fresh, such classical cuts of fish and the quality is the main objective. Truly loved everything we got. Very alive and upbeat indoors and outdoors, outside might be a tab bit chiller and calmer. Service was amazing, our server made sure to describe everything well and pair wine with it. However, if your most expensive sushi roll is $29, and it's the only roll that comes with 5 pieces instead of 10 pieces, there should most definitely be a mention of that on the menu. While our other friends who ordered literally any other roll got a full size portion, it came as a shock to the table when those who ordered the truffle Maki roll received 5, small pieces. The spicy edamame was pretty good. The sauce wasn't just spicy, but tasty. The miso soup was good as well. For drinks, the espresso martini wasn't out of this world, it just tasted like every other espresso martini you'd get at any bar. Our waiter was pretty good considering we had a large party of 24 people. At first he seemed overwhelmed, but thankfully they were able to recognize that and gave him two extra hands to help with orders, drinks, and water refills. The restaurant aesthetic was cute and had a few nice backdrops for photos. However, good luck using the bathroom. The one women's toilet did not flush and was backed up completely with toilet paper. This forced us to use the one men's bathroom, which was also backed up, but not as bad as the women's. To wash your hands there was a small trickle of water. Seems like they have plumbing or pipe issues. Overall was decent, but I won't be back.

The hovering over people in this tiny, little whole in the wall restaurant felt overwhelming. I started to lose my patience being that there is so much staff standing around and found myself several times having to pour my own wine bottle. 2nd, I told them it was my son's birthday and nobody went out of their way to make his birthday special! The interior is dim and clubby, and the seating was comfortable. Our server had someone from the Miami Beach location training with her, so we had some extra attention. We started with a round of cocktails and since this meal took place approximately a month ago, I can't remember what we ordered, but we were all pleased! Off the spice menu, we had both karagee starters (chicken and shrimp). Three of us had the hama kama for the main, and Larry had the pork belly. We also ordered 2 each of the desserts (fried milk sundae and matcha cake) The food was all very good. We took a pass on ordering sake due to the wild markup on their sake menu. When all was said and done, the bill came to $500 for four people with tax and tip and while the service was certainly friendly, it was not remotely professional. The food did not all come out at the same time. Larry had to wait until the rest of us were almost finished with the mains before his pork belly came to the table. The starters were also not brought out together (although there was a less of a wait for all of the plates to arrive). They also brought out the wrong desserts (3 of one kind instead of 2 and 2). Are these major dealbreakers? Of course not and I feel a little silly typing it out; however, eating at Uchi is not an everyday experience (for most of us!) and when spending this much, I don't think it's asking too much for the service to be on point. At least there wasn't the typical waitstaff beg for even more tip since they don't auto gratuity.
