Great breakfast! We loved everything about this quaint restaurant...the food, the service, the decor, the locals. Our waitress was very nice and kept our coffee filled to the brim. The prices are very reasonable for both the quantity and quality of food. My husband and I shared the cinnamon roll...which was enough for 6 people (no joke). The pictures don't do it justice. It is huge and amazingly delicious! It's just as good the next day, too! Eggs are fluffy and hash browns have a wonderful seasoning. I could have eaten an entire plate of them! Love this place! So the day we went, it was slammed! It was also my birthday and apparently the guys across the table from me as well. Without being prompted, the waitresses just brought out a cinnamon roll with a candle singing to us both! The service was incredible! As far as the food goes, it is just real good diner food. A decent Breakfast spot from what we could tell. My significant other ordered a veggie omelette and it could have definitely used some more substance. I ordered the New Orleans omelette which was pleasing. The servers were friendly and attentive which is a big reason for the high ranking. I stopped by for breakfast this morning, and wasn't quite sure what to expect. Places like this tend to be hit or miss. Bemus Point Inn is definitely a hit. I had the new Orleans omelet with a side of home fries and it was delicious. The omelet had a generous amount of veggies and sausage, and the home fries were nice and crispy. Our waitress was super friendly and really made the experience a good one. Prices were reasonable and it's a nice place to grab a quick bite before hitting the lake. They also serve lunch! read more

Really good food, tried the hash brown casserole and it did not disappoint. We got there right at 11am and quizzically enough they stop serving pancakes at 11am. One of our party wanted a meal with a pancake and there are no exceptions when it comes to that "No Pancake after 11am" rule. Kind of odd and funny at the same time. :) Other than that, it was a great breakfast. We had the belgian waffle and another had the eggs benedict. All of it was very good. If the pancake rule could have been "bent" we would have given a full five star review. read more

The claim to fame is their homemade cinnamon buns, and they are HUGE! If it's your first time, I'd recommend trying one, but plan to share. This place had some seriously good breakfast food. It's definitely a small town diner but I was truly impressed by the food and the service. I give them 5 stars for having the most giant cinnamon roll I have ever seen, and the best hashbrown casserole I have ever had at a restaurant. People aren't kidding about it being big enough to split...our group split a cinnamon roll 5 ways and it was more than enough. It was kind of our breakfast appetizer. :) They easily accommodated multiple large groups - we had 5 people, but others around us were in larger groups and seemed to be well taken care of. Our server, Laura, was incredibly patient with our group and didn't complain when we wanted to split up the bill. All of the servers seemed to have fun with their jobs, super nice staff. I see several reviews that they take cash only, but I was just there late June 2016 and used a credit card, so it appears that has recently changed. Parking is difficult, so walk if you can. If they're busy, go inside to put your name in, and then you may be asked to wait outside to prevent the doorway from being crammed. My wife and I recently spent a weekend at Chautauqua Lake in New York. We found this restaurant during our research of the area and decided to give it a try for breakfast. We were traveling with our dog so we could not dine in but had to get our order to carry out. The two employees I encountered while picking up our order were very friendly. I ordered a Swiss cheese and mushroom omelet, corned beef hash and toast. My wife had french toast and bacon. The meal was OK. Nothing to get excited about but it was good. I especially liked the fact that they had put my corned beef hash (which was obviously from a can) on the griddle to crisp it up and give it some texture. It really helped. However, they did not give my wife any syrup for her french toast so she had to eat it dry. Who does that? Anyway, it was good but certainly no better that a lot of other places. read more

We opted to try a new breakfast stop and this one had been on the list. Being Father's Day we expected a wait. We put in our name and then sat outside on the benches provided as well as enjoyed some people watching. There are toys and games for all ages in a bucket to help pass the time before being seated. Our wait time was under 20 min. After being seated we enjoyed the warm and friendly staff which says a lot as the place was packed and super busy. There are some counter seats as well as two dinning areas. Our order was taken promptly and delivered quickly. The cinnamon roll was huge and we shared it for the table. Again.. it is HUGE, and freshly iced out of the kitchen. We had an assortment of items for our breakfast order that were all served up hot and fresh. The eggs were perfectly prepared and the hash browns were seasoned well, and cooked with some crispy, some soft. This is a chance to enjoy one of the gems of the area. Smiles for all. I have been coming to Jamestown multiple times a year to visit family for 25 years and can't believe that this was my first time at the Bemus Point Inn. This place is top notch! It's like an IHOP or Denny's on steroids! Not only is the food better, but the service is incredible...they really make you feel like family. They are also super fast! We went during the "after church rush" on Sunday and were surprisingly seated in 5 minutes with a line out the door! My family goes there pretty frequently, so they suggested some items that we just had to order, like the famous and HUGE cinnamon roll! It was delicious...and really, really big! And they didn't skimp on the icing, which wasn't cream cheese! Honestly the most perfect cinnamon roll. We also ordered a grilled berry muffin, such a simple concept, I'm surprised I haven't had a grilled muffin before! It was very crumbly and melted in my mouth. Awesome - friendly service. Clean - diner style. Everyone liked what they ordered (a variety of breakfast and lunch). We especially enjoyed our efficient waitress - kind of hard to find these days. I over tipped her (a rare occasion for me). My only negative was there wasn't air conditioning. With the humidity it would have been nice. This is our absolute go-to whenever we are in Bemus Point. We've never had a bad meal. The service is always quick and friendly (we love our favorite waitress Lindsey!). Great local spot. The owners are a husband and wife team. Lori runs the front of the house with a smile that never fades. Her husband Dave has completely recreated the menu with everything fresh and made at the restaurant, including the fries, English muffins, etc. And the prices are super reasonable. If you are in the CHQ area, give it a try.
