Another location in Torrance! Located in the Encore Plaza, it's hidden inside one of the building with a small food court inside. Ben Scoops offers ice cream. It just recently ranked one of the best ice cream in USA according to Yelp. It's filipino based or owned or something. Not too sure. I got the double scoop ($8.50) with chocolate and matcha. It was pretty good. Melts a bit fast, but overall pretty good. Service was relatively quick. They even sell ice cream in pre packaged pints. Would definitely be back since I come to this plaza like once a month.

This place is so cute! Located inside The Enclave, lots of free parking available but can and WILL get busy from all the other shops. Service was great, the girl who helped me was very kind in suggesting popular menu items. Avocado & Ube ice cream is a MUST. So refreshing. Would happily come back.

The ice cream here was just okay. If anything, the texture of the ice cream was good. As a Filipino I tend to be stricter with Filipino flavors. Going down the list of flavors I tried: -Avocado: I couldn't really taste the avocado flavor to be honest. As a general ice cream it was solid, but I wasn't really getting much flavor. -Ube: Similar sentiments as the Avocado. I did like the grainy bits which are reminiscent of Ube, but the flavor could've been stronger. -Durian: I have an okay relationship with Durian lol. This was the best in terms of execution. Good durian flavor and even on point with the smell haha. -Halo-Halo: This was okay. Its like the Ube flavor with added toppings like red bean. Kind of disappointing that they don't let you taste the ice cream before purchasing. The pricing was decent. The ice cream stall is located in a food court area. There's free parking. Overall, a lot was left to be desired. I wouldn't go out of my way to try this. If I did try this place again, I'd probably get the non-Filipino flavors.

Super nice cream. There were about 10-15 different international flavors. It was about $7.50'for a regular scoop (two scoops, two flavors)!! I got the durian and lichee. The lichee was spot on and was delicious. The durian was super strong (good!) but I couldn't taste anything else after the first bite. That's a good thing! Service was super friendly. Located in a food court area with other food vendors. I'm a fan!

I tried the hojicha ice cream. The small is $7-8 and they do give 2 scoops which was filling. You can get up to 2 flavors in the small size. But at 3pm on a Saturday, they were unfortunately out of a lot of flavors :/ The hojicha flavor was just right! The ice cream was fairly creamy but not the most creamy I've had. I would expect to like their ice cream more for a place that's rated so highly but just my opinion. The workers are kind too!

Craving a shake and it comes with 2 flavors. I wanted strawberry and wasnt sure what other flavor and they recommended mango. It actually was good! Decent size and optional whip. My friend had a small ube and lychee ice cream. They were super quick and nice and Id come back to try the other flavors.

Saw all the hype on TikTok. Decided to check it out. I thought the name was unique but it's also functional. It's Ben scoops.... ice cream that someone else has made. It's located in a lively food hall inside of the Enclave. The service was nice. They were out of many of their flavors. I thought for the price, they were more like scoops instead of SCOOPS. The ice cream was just okay. The banana ice cream wasn't banana-y. The vanilla with almonds was just okay. Bottom line: I wouldn't seek this out. If I was at the enclave, I'd get a scoop if I was in the mood.

My friend and I came Sunday afternoon and didn't realize it was in a plaza with plenty of other food options. Plenty of parking in the front and back so no worries on that. You order at the register and then they will call your name through a window. I got the grasshopper pie and strawberry. It was really good. Honestly I liked the strawberry more than the grasshopper pie. It just tasted like real strawberries. Combo seems weird but it was good. I would come again to try their other flavors. There are a lot of seating inside and outside. They also have restrooms.

Easy eats ice cream with a bunch of Filipino flavors. Went after dinner for a bit of dessert. Parking was a bit confusing - there's a lot of electric vehicle parking (which should have but did not think to use), but found regular parking further out. The ice cream spot is in the food court area near the restrooms. Menu consists of many different Filipino and some regular flavors. Ended up getting a split scoop of ube and macapono. Was well made - def more natural tasting than others I had. Would def come back!

Stopped by for lunch at the Enclave, and decided to walk around and stumbled across this little gem. Ben Scoops has a great assortment of Filipino inspired flavors and regular ice cream flavors. By the time I got there later in the afternoon a lot of their flavors were sold out. I ordered a small, which comes with 2 scoops; I ordered the coconut pineapple and halo halo. The coconut pineapple stole the show for me; rich, creamy coconut flavor with a hint of pineapple. Refreshing and delicious. The halo halo was also creamy with bits of agar, beans, and other fillings, it was solid. I love this place, highly recommend.

This is the best ice cream I have had. They serve Mitchell's ice cream from San Francisco. The fruits are directly from the Philippines. The ice cream is fragrant and fresh tasting. Texture is also perfect. Ben, the owner, is very helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable about his products. He is an owner who has a real passion for what he serves. The price is very reasonable. New favorite ice cream stop! Went on a Sunday and it wasn't busy. Tucked into the corner of the plaza. Spacious place with a few outdoor seats. Different flavors you might not find at other places. Served by Mr. Ben himself! I had the ube and pistachio single scoops, topped with the almond brittle crunch. My husband got the Kahlua Mocha cream and oreo cookies and cream. Very tasty! I got the mango and ube double scoop. They were really good. The mango tasted like the sweet Filipino mangoes that I remember. Ube did not have the strong artificial ube flavor and has actual ube chunks. Ben was really nice and you can tell that he loved interacting with the people that came in. I stopped in curious to check this spot out after my daughter's dance class and was blown away by the quality and selection of their ice cream and sorbet. I got the raspberry and mango sorbet and when I say it tasted like the actual fruit. So full bodied and delicious. My daughter got the Oreo cookie ice cream and the chocolate which she refused to let me try as it was that delicious. I will definitely be a return customer. This is our favorite ice cream shop and the only place to serve Mitchell's ice cream in So Cal. It is a Filipino owned business that serves not only popular Mitchell's flavors, but also Filipino flavors like ube, halo halo, avocado, calamansi, mango, coconut, passionfruit, and langka (jackfruit). The owner and staff are super nice and welcoming. The kids love stopping by to get a sweet treat when we are in the area. Found this gem on our way home and I'm glad we made a stop. It's Filipino owned and they offer a wide variety from ube to coffee. I ordered 1 scoop and I was able to choose 2 flavors. I got the ube and macapuno and it was so good and fresh! The place was clean and Mr. Ben was so friendly and accommodating which made the experience even better. What a find! While traveling to Los Angeles we stumbled across Ben's scoops. I love that it is family owned and the owner served us our treats himself. I had a toasted almond/expresso bean milkshake. My only regret was drinking it too fast because it was so good! My kids had Ube ice cream. It's wild yam ice cream that tastes like chocolate. After trying theirs I can't decide which I liked more. This place only serves San Francisco-brand Mitchell's ice cream and sorbets. They serve it in a cup or several types of cones. It is a hole-in-the-wall but it's busy. The textures and real fruit are what makes the flavor stand out above the rest. read more

Our new go to ice cream shop. All the flavors are fresh & delicious & you can bring some home by the quart or half-gallon. The PI flavors are truly special & hit the spot when we're craving that taste of home. The owner is super hospitable & lets you try the flavors. But since it's super hard to decide, you gotta go with double scoop of two flavors so you don't miss out, lol. Highly recommend. read more

If you are anywhere near Ben Scoops you must stop! The service was phenomenal and the worker was so excited for us to try every flavor. This was my favorite ice cream shop ever! There were so many unique flavors such as Ube and classics that were done perfectly. Every flavor was perfectly balanced and delicious. I went with the mango ice cream and Ube which was phenomenal. We also had an almond brittle topping which complimented the ice cream perfectly. Stop here for the best ice cream and service ever! You will not be disappointed and it is always special to support a local business with so much love and passion behind their product. Thank you for the best time! Amazing Ice Cream, if you are in the area I highly recommend it. I got the Vanilla Bean with Ube and almond brittle topping. The almond brittle was placed in between the scoops and it was definitely a game changer. The service was great, very attentive and provided great suggestions. We found it just by luck... wanted to try somewhere different bcuz we are tired of the normal/regular places... it's hidden and we almost left bcuz we thought Yelp had the wrong info but I'm glad we stayed! Ben has been the ultimate best... Always a pleasure talking to him... you will not regret coming here... the flavors are simple but authentic... my favorites are avocado, coconut, ube and the seasonal pumpkin (and I dislike anything pumpkin) so that tells u! My husbands favorite is coconut, ube and pistachio... my sons favorite is grasshopper pie and pumpkin... but to be honest all flavors are awesome... read more

They were accomodating and offered us a free water bottle and waffle cone to get the peanut taste out their mouth. There's ample parking in the parking lot, it's part of a mini plaza. Service was okay too - when I asked for additional spoons, the lady just pointed to a spoon jar in the waiting area. Probably won't try again.

For me, regular shaved ice usually lacks enough syrup or the ice is too hard. I'm such a wuss, I know, but I hate feeling like I overpaid for a cup of ice. It has been brutally hot and today seemed like a great day to have some shaved ice. The cafe is located in a Korean plaza on Western and 154th. Smoking Tiger coffee is also in the same plaza. The cafe is on the smaller side but there's lots of seating and you can take your orders to go if you want. It's cashless and you take your tray and trash to the counter once you're done. The menu has everything from fruity flavors to Asian flavors like hojicha and injeolmi to Cinnamon Toast crunch. You can get an individual size or larger size to share. The interior is minimalist with vintage-looking posters of the business. They have WiFi and complimentary water. We ordered matcha and mango flavored bingsoo. Both had a tall pile of ice with ample toppings and more syrup layered inside the ice which I think is an important very often overlooked step. I can't wait to return to try out more flavors!

I liked how light the pieces are and not super oily. On another day, I tried the matcha parfait. I was worried that it might be too sweet. Fortunately, the sweetness wasn't overwhelming for me. The matcha ice cream had a great matcha flavor and the red bean paste filled castella bites were also yummy as well.
