I'm now currently 6 months 'post up' from having my lip lift procedure. I have been using lip fillers as an enhancement now for the past 10 years. I started to notice that my lips looked fuller on one side compared to the other. I decided to discuss the situation with a friend regarding finding a solution, and she told me about the 'lip lift' procedure. So I started to look into it. I have to admit I was was scared at first of the possible scarring. That's when I came across Dr Ben Talei and the what's called 'non -surgical lip lift' This to me looked and sounded great and just what I wanted. I immediately made an appointment to see him. We first discussed that I needed to dissolve the filler in the lip, wait two weeks and then we could go ahead and do the lift. The first step went great, the uneven fuller dissolved immediately, and caused me no problems at all. I was now ready to have the procedure and was excited and felt very confident and at ease about having it done! The lip lift took around 30-45 minutes and I didn't feel anything after we injected the numbing solution. My lips were pretty swollen and sore for the first few days, which I was advised was to be expected. After five days the stitches were then removed. I was really impressed visually with how clean and neat the incisions were. The incisions are not noticeable at all now at 6 months. I'm overall extremely happy with how everything went and I keep getting complimented on how much more natural, nice and well proportioned my face/lips look. Having this procedure also now means that I don't need to have lip fillers injected, which has made life a lot easier as I don't feel as if I need to keep up or worry about having them topped up or having un-even results as I previously had trouble with. I'd recommend Dr Ben Talei to anybody that's looked into this procedure. He's a true expert and absolute specialist at what he does. It's hard enough to realize in your late 40's that you're going to need a major facial procedures to look like yourself after life happened to you! If you know what I mean. It's even harder to find a Facial Plastic Surgeon whose results are very natural and don't leave behind any traces of the facial surgery performed. I scheduled my virtual consult with him, and I told him my concerns, and he executed perfect corrections with skill and finesse I did not know possible. I felt very confident and didn't have any doubts to let him operate on my face. He explained everything in detail and answered all of my questions. I felt 100% confident the day I was going in to have my procedure done. (Auralyft, lip lift, Rhinoplasty, and endoscopic eyebrow lift but later into the surgery, he decided not to go forward with the eyebrow lift. And I'm glad he made that decision.) Dr. Talei is very professional, honest, and humble! He's a man of integrity! I insisted on having a procedure that he didn't think I need, and he told me, No, you don't need it, and I won't do it. His staff was very accommodating with all my scheduling needs and times of my visits, including many post-op visits. The surgery room team, and all mostly surgical Nurse Esther, took great care of me. I was under for some time, and once I opened my eyes, Nurse Esther was there to make me laugh and make me feel comfortable! His office is very organized. From the moment I decided to go forward with my surgery, they had everything planned out for my convenience. The care package was given to me and it was packed with all my supplements and different solutions, a Rogaine, Latisse, Aurasilk oil, and......for my post-surgery healing process. Also, I was given a chart that explained how many days before the surgery, I should plan for my meds, to start or stop them. It was impressive to me when everything was planned for my healing process to be smooth and stress free. Look no further; Dr. Talei is the best in his field. He's a perfectionist! I knew I wouldn't want anyone else to touches my face but Dr. Talei. I'm ten weeks post-surgery now, and I LOVE my results! I think I look even better than when I was in my 20's. I initially heard good reviews about this plastic surgeon but my god i left the practice massively disappointed and frustrated. The receptionist Jennifer was extremely rude and very dismissive of the wait i had to endure in the heat outside. And as I've seen in other reviews i am not the only one who found her unpleasant. I had an auralyft, upper and lower eyes, lip lift and nanofat with Dr Talei in January 2020. I simply cannot give him or his office staff enough stars. Every person in that office is incredible and kind. I would like to mention some names: Bea, Joseph, Kristy, Olivia, Esther, Jennifer Hollander, Hector, Dr Talei's Dad and of course Dr Talei himself. Every single person in that office was kind and caring. Dr Talei goes over and beyond to help every single patient. Dr Talei and his staff care about the patients not just the money. I will try to make this as brief as possible and still get to my point across. I beg everyone not to buy into the BS this Dr tries to sell you. I have been around and have had quite a few procedures over the last 30 years or so.. All mostly great. Now this Dr is a sweet guy, and that is it. Sorry to say. He is way way over priced and over rated. I believe half of these are not even real ratings because he is one of the worst surgeons yet. He talks a big game, makes you feel like he knows it all. Lol. He has a very expensive office to impress you, however you are paying his rent. I had a lip left, a nightmare.6 months ago. I had the worse 3 months of my life.. I had a bacteria infection and he would not admit too. I had to go to a skin doctor for help. I was in horrible pain , and I mean horrible pain for 3 months and he could not understand why. Refused to give me the proper meds. His office is so unorganized.. I had paid my bill already and was quoted a price thaagreed upon. Than 2 weeks later they doubled the price saying they forgot to charge me for the sides of my lips. Ha. That AH charged me 15 grand for a lip lift. My mistake for not walking out. I agree, However he made up dozens of BS reasons why he had to charge me so much money. In the meantime, the sides of up mouth and lips did not go up. They instead turned down. I have been to two different Dr.trying to fix his mess. It has cost me an additional 3 grand already to fix this so called lip lift. I am so very very disappointed. He was a jerk the entire time as well. Makes you wait hours to get in to see him. Part of his cool plan to look so busy.and charge you so much money. My. lift by the way, has fallen. He also could care less that he is keeping you waiting. An ego as big as the USA. Including Hawaii and Alaska. Dr. Talei gets an easy 5 stars review from all aspects and without giving it lots of thinking. He is sincere , he is himself and his care and love to his patients is overwhelming and if it shows anything it shows his foundation as a person and as a surgeon. If you follow his Instagram you will be surprise that he doesn't hide any learning experience to himself which is so generous of him, he shares facts and findings that patients and surgeon can learn from who does that ? Had to wait about 6 -7 month for an appointment. Once I finally got to see the dr. I was surprised of how a small office he has in a shared small building. I have gone to other consults and the buildings are nicer. This suite is old. You would think that after charging a leg and an arm he would be able to have a nicer building. Once you have the cost of your procedure it also includes operating room fees $3,000. So you are basically paying for the buidling he doesn't want to pocket. Auralift $50K, plus operating room. I'm sure this would pay for a better experience and less cost for a patient. read more

Just a pure rip off! Made a phone call prior my consultation to make sure I agree on the price. I've been told is 7500$ for a lip lift. It's definitely more expensive than anyone around but let's say I wasn't shocked. I scheduled a consultation and after the 5 min short talk with Dr. Talei I was lead to an office to schedule my surgery. Well....surprise!!!! The price is 10500$. Excuse me?! Why I was being lied, only to get me there???? That's a LIE!!! You should not lie people and misinform them only to get 500$ consultation fee! So unprofessional, so greedy! The receptionist also very rude and not cooperative when I asked if I can use my 500$ to a different procedure there, like botox or fillers. What a horrible attitude towards people. I came into Ben's office a couple weeks ago for Botox, cheek filler, and the profound to tighten my abdomen. I wanted to wait awhile before writing a review to truly see the final result. It was my first time here so of course I was extremely nervous...I mean, this is my face, after all, and although I always want to look natural and refreshed, I know that sometimes it doesn't always turn out that way. Ben did my filler and botox and he did such a great job- very natural (thank goodness)! I love how he was very conservative and told me to wait for a week before I even considered to do anything more. I was so scared at first because I didn't want anyone to know what I had done, but now all I get are compliments on my skin and that I'm glowing- and the best part is nobody knows! I came across Beverly Hills Hair Group and Dr. Talei online. I had done many consults in regards to a FUE hair transplant in the past year with numerous doctors and clinics but I was never comfortable moving forward. Upon meeting Dr. Talei, Fabien, and his team I immediately felt at ease.  Their facility is top notch and a state of the art clinic. Dr. Talei and Fabien were straightforward about the process and what exactly I was to expect.  Never was I felt pressured to book the procedure nor did I feel they were trying to upsell me on other treatments. They actually both encouraged me to consult with other physicians for education purposes and told me to choose someone I would feel the most comfortable with. Little did they know that they were the fifth or sixth clinic I was consulting with. I decided to add a PRP treatment to my 2,300 grafts FUE procedure. It's been 9 months now since I have done my procedure. The procedure day was flawless. Dr. Talei and Fabien walked me through all the steps I would go through and Fabien constantly checked on me to see if I was ok. Their surgical team is on point, professional, courteous and super friendly. It was a long procedure but they had music on demand and movies on demand and the staff was chatting with me the entire time. I have to say it felt more like an experience rather than an actual surgical procedure. Aside from the numbing which maybe lasted a minute I felt no pain at all. The following days were also on cruise control. I followed their instructions and I had just mere discomfort. I took Tylenol the first couple days and that was it. Fabien kept in touch with me the next couple weeks to make sure everything was good. Now 9 months later my hair is growing crazy!!! I look younger and I have definitely gotten my confidence back up. I experienced pretentious front-desk assistants, pocket-gouging rates (for minor procedure), doctors who boasted about their status in this town, etc. I left offices literally laughing. I had given up on my search until a year or so later I met someone out with friends. She looked beautiful but very natural. She referred Dr. Talei to me. This review is long overdue. Dr. Talei literally saved my face. I managed to contract a nasty infection that swelled my face to double it's normal size. He got me in quickly based on a recommendation from my doctor. He immediately identified and removed the infected tissue, biopsied the site after cleaning it out and followed up again to make sure the problem was solved. I went from worrying whether or not I would need to be hospitalized, to whether or not I would have some type of permanent damage and scarring, to being amazed at how well and how quickly everything healed. I have very uneven natural lips and I like to get soft fillers, however in the past I've had very bad luck with injectors going overboard trying to even my lips out. *I've even had old filler not dissolve on one side over time, making my lips that much more uneven!= Dr. Talei fixed this situation back in May. *In June & July I went to someone who went WAY over board by over-injecting leaving the result of the dreaded "duck lip" & in addition, the result of drawing more attention to the natural uneven shape by making it even more pronounced.= Dr.Talei reduced them again today! *This is now twice for me that Dr.Talei has had to clean up someone else's work. On top of having turned 30, I attribute my premature crows, feet, eleven lines, laugh lines and over all tired aging look to my stressful job as an attorney. Which brings me to my next point, I'm super overly cautious, question any and everything and am super skeptical of this to the point of an annoying flaw to most all (except for my clients lol). I was referred to Dr. Talei through my mom's friend who had recently gotten an amazing face lift from him. When I saw her she looked like she had just returned from a 10 year trip in heaven. So natural and rejuvenated. My dad, mom, husband and sister couldn't even tell, they just said she looked "really good" lol. To me she looks 10 years younger. No joke. She told me Dr. Talei is the man everyone goes to for every and absolutely any work on the face. He daughter also later told me she has been getting fillers and botox from him forever but swore me to secrecy. This is not unusual, people in LA are weird and are super reluctant to share true beauty secrets and the best doctors are kept secret due to their high profile secretive client (e.g. Kylie Jenner oops, did I say that? Sure, it's just new lip liner...) Besides the fact that he looks perfect on paper with all the specializations and top schools, credentials, yada ...Dr. Ben Talei, was amazing from my first consult. I feel like I had taken a medical class after leaving his office because he had taught me so much and explained everything so thoroughly. I have been to other plastic surgeons who have either been too salesman like, cheesy, too busy to treat you like a person, and even a couple who use a ridiculing/bullying tactic. But Dr. Talei was perfect. He kept it real without having me leaving me feeling crappy after noticing what my own naked hadn't (which I've seen doctors do in the past, turning me off). His manner was extremely professional, caring and on point! After having finally felt like I had found the one. I told him to do it. I told him to do whatever he thought should be done. Which was a combination of botox and fillers. Fillers on my laugh lines, under eye/cheek, lips and botox on various parts of my forehead, eyes, and under eyebrows. Instant happiness. I just looks good. Not tired. Rejuvenated. I wish I had done this sooner. I was really concerned about people noticing it. I got a lot more compliments from people saying things like "you look so pretty today" but not a single person, even my closest friends notice I had "work done". And when I told them they were blown away and asked when they can get an appt with him asap. So yea. SUCCESS. Money and time saved from dealing from all the heavy makeup, contouring and "lip plumper" glosses. Be smart, don't buy into all of that, every one of those beautiful woman has a doctor they keep secret. As I told Dr. Talei, I'm a lifer. And since I'm a nice person who believes sharing is caring, I am spreading the word because everyone should have a right to be as pretty on the outside as they are on the inside. I went to see Dr. Talei after unfortunate experiences with two different facial plastic surgeons in Encino. From the moment I walked into his office, Natalie (Office Manager) made me feel at ease with her gregarious personality. I was super nervous because I was very traumatized by the last surgeon who had performed a procedure on me that left me looking odd. As soon as I finished signing the paperwork, I was escorted into one of the rooms. I chose to see Dr. Talei because of his expertise in facial surgery. I have to be honest, I was pleasantly surprised to find out that he DOES NOT charge a consultation fee like the other "Beverly Hills Surgeons." I waited about a few minutes before Dr. Talei entered the room. Talk about presence! The way this man carries himself is mesmerizing (he's definitely easy on the eyes too). As soon as he introduced himself to me, I found myself at ease. During my consultation, he was very detailed and clear in his explanation of the recommended procedure and my expected results. At no point did I ever feel rushed. I must have drove him nuts with my laundry list of questions! You can tell this man is very passionate about what he does by the work he performs. I honestly couldn't be happier with my results! He has restored my belief that there really are great doctors out there, and he is one of them. Dr. Ben Talei is such a nice, intelligent man. He will also be honest with you. I was considering doing the lip lift surgery and I started doing some research on the best doctors in Los Angeles. Dr. Talei came highly recommended from multiple people. I scheduled a zoom consult with him as it was in the middle of COVID. We did the zoom consult, and I asked him about the lip lift and under eye filler. He told me on the zoom that I wasn't an ideal candidate for under eye filler, and he thoroughly explained why. This made me respect him even more! He could have been like many doctors out there and just taken my money, but he didn't, because he's a smart, honest, man with integrity. He then told me that he thought I may be a candidate for the lip lift, but that he would need to see me in person to confirm. So, I scheduled an in person consultation at no additional cost. When I met with him in person, he said that we could move forward with the lip lift if I wanted to, but that he would take a conservative approach. He explained why. I then asked him if it was worth it to go through the surgery, and the three months of healing. He said no, he didn't think it was worth it in my case, and he again, thoroughly explained why. He was honest! He then recommended another plan of action with Jenn Hollander, who also works in his office. I went and saw Jenn, and I couldn't be happier with my results. I was able to achieve my desired look without surgery. Most importantly, Dr. Ben Talei is such a wonderful man. I am grateful to him and Jenn. I highly recommend both Dr. Talei and Jenn Hollander. The office staff are also lovely. When I initially called to schedule the consult, I spoke to Bnar, and she spent a great deal of time with me on the phone answering my questions. Olivia was also very kind. I had a wonderful experience at this office and I have visited multiple times. I'm a caucasian female, born in 1953. On April 10, 2018 I travelled from the east coast to Beverly Hills for a lip lift with Dr. Ben Talei. I was going to wait until 3 months to review, but I went to a big party on June 9th, and I looked, simply amazing. My husband who was against the procedure, told me several times I was the most beautiful woman in the room. Last night was the first time since my procedure that I knew beyond the shadow of a doubt, I have a beautiful new mouth. So, it's time to write this review. There is no substitute for experience. I researched the lip lift procedure for almost two years. After seeing his videos on Youtube and reading everything I could find about him, I chose Dr. Ben Talei. Because, he performs a record number of lip lifts. His website has a significant number of accurate, well done, reliable, "Before and After" photos, that show HIS work. Bottom line though, why would I choose a doctor who has only done 100, 200 or 300 lip lifts when I could choose a doctor who has done thousands of lip lifts?
