My parents were using home warranty to insure their air conditioning units. A few weeks ago, they went on vacation and both of their air conditioners went down. Home warranty left my elderly parents without air conditioning for three days before telling them they could not get the evaporator coil for one and it needed replacement. The other machine also had a crack in the evaporator coil and had a bad motor. Home warranty did not authorize the technicians that came out to fix these problems. My parents were at their wits end as it was 115 outside that whole week. Upon calling Benefit AC, Chuck came out, assessed the situation, sized the machine requirements, and was able to give them a very reasonable price for replacing both units with a warranty for parts and labor. The units were installed quickly and efficiently two days later. Chuck and Kyle worked in the blistering heat all day to ensure we had cooling over the weekend to come. Another week would pass and the monsoons came. Our roof began to leak. Even though we knew it was most likely not related to the new units, Benefit AC sent Chuck out to assess the situation again. Their roof needs work and the leak was unrelated to the new machines. Chuck took the time to clear the roof of debris and cleared the gutters that were clogged with debris as well. We had our air conditioner go out over the weekend. Fortunately it was only in the 90's. I called Benefit Air and they were out Monday. Within 30 minutes Kyle had it diagnosed. There is a leak some where and the refrigerant was low. He added enough to give us cool air again. The unit is 15 years old so they will be replacing our entire system. Great Customer Service from the entire crew. The reason I called Benefit Air to begin with. About four years ago we had problems. It seemed the air was cool, there was no freezing but not a lot of air flow. We paid two other companies to come out and paid money but they couldn't fix. They just wanted to replace the whole system. I had heard of Benefit Air from ads and called them. The tech came out and after looking over the system said he thought there was maybe a duct that had come loose under the house. He crawled under our house, in the 3' craw space. He found that one of the main ducts had come loose, the cold air was just blowing underneath the house, so reconnected it and all worked fine. He wouldn't take any money. I tried to give him $100 cash and he wouldn't take it. Come to find out he was Ken the owner. He said just to call them when we decide to replace the unit. Now that is a great company. I called Benefit Heating and Air based on the Yelp review I read. I was not disappointed. I called at 20 minutes to closing time but they still offered to squeeze me in that evening. It was 105 outside but I told them that since I had evaporative cooling as a backup I'd be happy with an afternoon appointment the next day. They set me up with an appointment between 1:00 and 3:00 and told me that a technician would call before coming. Sure enough, Joshua called at about 12:30 the next day and said he finished another job early and said he could be here in 10min if I wanted him to come early. Of course I said yes. He arrived within 10 min and immediately got to work. It turned out that AC unit had a burned out contactor. Joshua explained all my options and never once tried to push me into anything I didn't want. The service call was very reasonable and the labor was as well. I was really pleasantly surprised by the low total cost of the repair. The company that originally put in my new unit had also serviced my old one. I know now the former company always greatly inflated the price of labor and parts compared to Benefit Heating and Air. I highly recommend them as a company with fair prices and fair practices. I will definitely call them if I need service in the future. read more

I was out of town on Family emergency, came back into town and my heat was not working. Since it was the holiday, figured no one would call me back till next week, so ended up using space heaters and placed a call. Benefit Air Conditioning had previously handled my sisters AC unit but that was years ago, thankfully my sister gave me their contact information. Even though a holiday week, after I called them, they reached out and were out at my home on Black Friday, to look at what they could do. Their HVAC engineer showed up within the time they mentioned, fully wearing masks , and called me 30 minutes prior to showing up. Then they were able to identify the problem and provide me options to repair now, so I could go through the weekend without using space heaters and a path to replace...my ailing system. If you need HVAC repair or replacement, these folks are honest and knowledgeable, provided me with details. We just want to express our KUDOS to Benefit for their timely & awesome service we received from Benefit Air. our heat pump went out, we got bids from 3 contractors and Benefit seemed to be the choice for us. their warranty program is reassuring in the aspect that they will be there for a client when action is needed not just next year but for the next 10 years for warranty. my husband is currently dealing with health issues and our "Comfort Specialist" Paul Howard did everything to get the new unit up on our roof ASAP. Chuck serviced our air conditioning unit for an inspection and tune-up. He was on time, thorough, and our unit was blowing MUCH colder air by the time he was finished. My experience with these guys suggests that they are absolutely straight shooters. I called Benefit (in Jan 2014) because my home inspection report said my A/C needs to be serviced, because the temperature differential is too low and it isn't cooling as effectively as it should. Even though it was warm at the time, the guys at Benefit told me that testing right now wouldn't be as effective as testing during the summer, so they recommended I wait until temperatures warm up. I also told them I have a home warranty, and they recommended I try to address the problem with the warranty company during the summer. In short, these guys passed on work to save me $$$ and to ensure the service was performed at a time when it would be best. I doubt many other companies would do that. read more

Jeremy came to our house to do maintenance on our roof heat pump and in-house air purifier, known as a Trane Clear Aire. J was professional and friendly and did not miss a beat as far as covering all maintenance activities. I could converse with him lightly without his being too distracted. He was willing to answer questions I had about what manner of air conditioning machine I should get when the warranty ran out of the one he serviced. He should consider getting covid-19 immunization for the sake of Benefit customers who are prone to the disease (I had my shots). I have never regretted using Benefit air; all the workpeople we have seen seem to be a class act whose company I would recommend. read more

I love Benefit Air Conditioning! When I purchased my home in 2010 Benefit Air Conditioning installed my new a/c unit - they were so patient and answered all my questions! They removed the old swamp cooler and installed the new unit and it has worked wonderfully for the last 10 years!
