New, clean & casual sushi spot. The menu has a nice selection of appetizers, specialty rolls, sashimi & nigiri. The lunch menu is also nice as the 2 specialty rolls include free miso soup. The waitress was really nice & helpful. I would definitely come here again.

As Jurupa Valley starts growing into its britches, it's nice to see more sushi restaurants appear, especially in this new plaza. No, it's not AYCE, let's get that out right now. I popped in midweek for lunch. It's hard to really get a sample size in one trip going solo, but I ordered the chicken gyoza for the appetizer, and 10 piece chef omacase nigiri sushi sampler. I noticed they have a lunch special for two rolls, but the list excludes some more complex options, which is understandable. My gyoza arrived first, as planned. I had to ask for a side of ponzu sauce, however, so maybe declare that up front when ordering? Anyhow, the sauce was superb! Fresh and bright, a hint of citrus and smooth. Recommended for dipping, the dumplings were clearly made in-house and had a fresh satisfying flavor. My spiral platter arrived with the 10 pieces arranged nicely with any special sauces applied to each piece, if applicable. Next time I'll order a la carte, but I did affirm my dislike for squid and chewy octopus. The other varieties were really nice, especially the salmon toro and Hamachi. The seared salmon and albacore also stood out. I wasn't really impressed with the blue fin tuna. It wasn't flavorful, and several pieces seemed a little dry in texture. As stated above, more trips are necessary to get an adequate feel, but I liked the ambiance and thought maybe they should dim the lights a bit. The austere decor is also in harmony with the restaurant theme.

Finally! My wife and I have been waiting for this place to open since the sign went up months ago. We love sushi so a chance to find a good place just down the street is what we needed. First off the place is very nice. Ultra clean and sleek decor just like in Japan. I always go for Unagi as my baseline for judging sushi. This passes with flying colors. Super fresh and clean taste. My wife ordered the Carpaccio Sampler which was also excellent. To finish off we had the adult roll. Spicy tuna jalapeño and avocado. A really good roll. I realize sushi is an acquired taste but I urge you to push your boundaries and try something new. This is the place to do it. Definitely Recommended.

Very good food omurice, i had the tornado and my wife had the curry rice. We also had 3 appetizer spicy garlic edamame, mix tempura, and baked mussel. We also had baked salmon sushi and scallops sushi. I recommend, all 3 appetizer because it was so good I finish it all before I remember to take a picture.

We visited Bengee Sushi during their happy hour. We had ordered their Shrimp Tempura Roll, Spicy Garlic Edamame, baked Salmon Roll, and Golden Tiger Roll. Each dish was delicious in their own way. The service here is great. There's lots of seating to choose from and it has a nice clean vibe to it.

I had a very disappointing experience here. For context, I am a Black woman, and from the moment I walked in, the woman at the counter's attitude came across as nonchalant, rude, and unhelpful, almost as if she did not want me there as a customer. I still decided to give the place a try anyway. The menu was also underwhelming. A lot of the sushi rolls seemed to be built off the same California roll base, which made the selection feel limited for a sushi restaurant. What really bothered me was when I asked for eel sauce. I was told it would be an extra 75 cents and that none comes with the rolls. I have never been to a sushi restaurant where at least one eel sauce is not included with certain rolls. When I asked about it, she gave a snarky little chuckle that felt dismissive and rude. Considering I spent around $26, I do not think it is unreasonable to expect at least one eel sauce to be included. I also noticed signs posted in the restaurant encouraging customers to leave reviews in exchange for incentives like free drinks, which makes me question how many of the positive reviews are based on genuine experiences. Overall, the customer service here was terrible, and I will not be coming back.

The service was top notch. Marcus seated us and helped us during our visit. He was super friendly and funny too. The ambiance was great, not too loud or too much going on. The only reason I give 4 stars it's because the portions are small compared to other places for price. I wish the rolls were bigger. Overall they're pretty good and fresh. They need to lower their prices or give more for your money. read more

Need to give this place a chance, the food was super good (I tried the premium spider roll) pretty big pieces. The inside place is modern, super cute tables, loved the music they were having (the sound was not too loud but neither low it was at such perfect volume). the service was amazing, our server was super sweet and explained to us how the menu worked, gave us cups of water and let us have time to order. Bengee Sushi in Jurupa Valley is such a welcome surprise! This area has been crying out for a legit sushi spot, and these folks absolutely delivered. The restaurant is new, super clean, and has a really comfortable, modern vibe that makes you want to sit down and stay awhile. The omakase nigiri selection is seriously impressive for the area--fresh, well-cut, and thoughtfully plated, not just your basic tuna/salmon rotation. The quality is definitely there, and you can tell they care about doing things right. The baked mussels were another standout... rich, savory, and just plain delicious. Service has been friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, which adds so much to the experience. If I had one gripe, it's that they don't serve alcohol. A cold beer or sake flight would take this place from "really good" to "dangerous date-night favorite" levels. Hopefully that's something they'll add in the future. All in all, it's just exciting to finally have a truly good sushi restaurant in this part of Jurupa Valley. I'll definitely be back--and probably often! Until next time... read more

The service is impeccable. The food? I don't even know where to start. Spending my summers on the Gulf Coast was the only place I had such delicious fresh seafood. After each bite I'm literally sitting back savoring the flavors. The Lemon Salmon roll is a must! We are so grateful to have a great place to come have a dinner now and then. read more

10/10! Just moved to the IE recently and have been on the hunt for a good sushi/ramen spot... and Bengee Sushi did NOT disappoint. I got the spicy tonkotsu ramen and it was delish super flavorful, perfect spice, and the broth was so good I literally finished every drop. Amazing quality, friendly staff, cute ambiance! I was very pleasantly surprised. Their sushi was top notch, fresh and flavorful with a perfect fish to rice ratio. Their eel was quite flavorful as was the masago nigiri. I ordered a rainbow roll and every fish on it was quite tasty and very fresh. Bonus points for the sushi actually being cold! Everywhere else around here seems to have their sushi on the warmer side. Their presentation was quite beautiful- their rolls come on a long, pretty stoneware/ceramic plate and their nigiri comes on matching smaller plates. And their chopsticks are metal- a nice touch I rarely see. The server was so friendly and attentive. Came here for lunch & definitely coming back very soon. All they need is some beer and it'll be perfect. Unfortunately they don't seem to have an alcohol license at this point in time, but the foods so good you don't even need it! read more

Decided to give this a try. My mother and I live just down the street and we normally drive to Wabi Sabi in Eastvale when we want sushi. The food was way better than Wabi Sabi. We had the baked mussels, albacore carpaccio, blue fin tuna nigiri, scallop nigiri, and a black dragon roll. Everything was delicious. The restaurant is very clean and not too cold or hot. We typically go to their old location in Chino which was nice, but we came here to give it a try.. and their customer service sucks. They have a way you can accumulate points to use for money off, which we used at Chino and we were never restricted on an amount. Now this location is saying you could only use $3 off at a time? Then after the fact of being charged we were asked if we wanted to use the rest of our points on drinks. No thanks, how about take it off the total. read more

So glad this place opened up so close by! Food is really good and service is very friendly and fast. Restaurant is clean and bathrooms are also very clean. They have a lunch specials that are really reasonably priced and they have them every day of the week. It's not a huge place but definitely worth ordering. I got the crazy salmon roll. Basically salmon on Salmon but it was soo good. For the rolls lunch special you get 2 rolls, salad and miso soup for $20. Its a good deal. Definitely give this place a try if you are in the area. read more

Miso soup and la carte is only $2.50, but that punctuates why I should have read deeper into the remarkably compact menu. Nonetheless, my chef was Udi, who was very nice and careful with the assembly of all 6 rolls. My first two were the salmon and toro, the latter melts in the mouth, and the former illustrated the texture of the fish and special nori sheets they select for a unique experience. Other rolls came out including scallops, yellowtail, blue crab, and lobster with its light mayonnaise sauce. Absolutely delicious! The miso soup is also particularly good, fresh and expertly prepared. I'm looking forward to another round, plus maybe a couple add-ons.
