We visited Bengee Sushi during their happy hour. We had ordered their Shrimp Tempura Roll, Spicy Garlic Edamame, baked Salmon Roll, and Golden Tiger Roll. Each dish was delicious in their own way. The service here is great. There's lots of seating to choose from and it has a nice clean vibe to it.

First time at restaurant. This is my experience. The staff was nice and friendly. The food came out fast and quick. The food was good and hot, we order the spicy garlic edamame beans which was delicious.

I had a very disappointing experience here. For context, I am a Black woman, and from the moment I walked in, the woman at the counter's attitude came across as nonchalant, rude, and unhelpful, almost as if she did not want me there as a customer. I still decided to give the place a try anyway. The menu was also underwhelming. A lot of the sushi rolls seemed to be built off the same California roll base, which made the selection feel limited for a sushi restaurant. What really bothered me was when I asked for eel sauce. I was told it would be an extra 75 cents and that none comes with the rolls. I have never been to a sushi restaurant where at least one eel sauce is not included with certain rolls. When I asked about it, she gave a snarky little chuckle that felt dismissive and rude. Considering I spent around $26, I do not think it is unreasonable to expect at least one eel sauce to be included. I also noticed signs posted in the restaurant encouraging customers to leave reviews in exchange for incentives like free drinks, which makes me question how many of the positive reviews are based on genuine experiences. Overall, the customer service here was terrible, and I will not be coming back.

As Jurupa Valley starts growing into its britches, it's nice to see more sushi restaurants appear, especially in this new plaza. No, it's not AYCE, let's get that out right now. I popped in midweek for lunch. It's hard to really get a sample size in one trip going solo, but I ordered the chicken gyoza for the appetizer, and 10 piece chef omacase nigiri sushi sampler. I noticed they have a lunch special for two rolls, but the list excludes some more complex options, which is understandable. My gyoza arrived first, as planned. I had to ask for a side of ponzu sauce, however, so maybe declare that up front when ordering? Anyhow, the sauce was superb! Fresh and bright, a hint of citrus and smooth. Recommended for dipping, the dumplings were clearly made in-house and had a fresh satisfying flavor. My spiral platter arrived with the 10 pieces arranged nicely with any special sauces applied to each piece, if applicable. Next time I'll order a la carte, but I did affirm my dislike for squid and chewy octopus. The other varieties were really nice, especially the salmon toro and Hamachi. The seared salmon and albacore also stood out. I wasn't really impressed with the blue fin tuna. It wasn't flavorful, and several pieces seemed a little dry in texture. As stated above, more trips are necessary to get an adequate feel, but I liked the ambiance and thought maybe they should dim the lights a bit. The austere decor is also in harmony with the restaurant theme.

Finally! My wife and I have been waiting for this place to open since the sign went up months ago. We love sushi so a chance to find a good place just down the street is what we needed. First off the place is very nice. Ultra clean and sleek decor just like in Japan. I always go for Unagi as my baseline for judging sushi. This passes with flying colors. Super fresh and clean taste. My wife ordered the Carpaccio Sampler which was also excellent. To finish off we had the adult roll. Spicy tuna jalapeño and avocado. A really good roll. I realize sushi is an acquired taste but I urge you to push your boundaries and try something new. This is the place to do it. Definitely Recommended.

Came here on a sister lunch date and it did not disappoint. The servings were pretty big and very affordable. The meat was tender and the edamame was fresh and perfectly salted. The service was top notch. Marcus seated us and helped us during our visit. He was super friendly and funny too. The ambiance was great, not too loud or too much going on. Very clean and well taken are of business.

We were looking for a good sushi and ramen spot all night and were starting to think we wouldn't find anything open. Luckily, we came across this place and were happy to see they close at 10 PM, which gave us just enough time to sit down and enjoy a meal. The food was really good overall, but the sushi especially stood out. It was incredibly fresh, came out quickly, and the presentation was great. You could tell a lot of care went into how everything was prepared and served. On top of that, the prices were amazing for the quality you get. So far, this is the best sushi we've had in Jurupa Valley. If you're looking for fresh sushi, great presentation, quick service, and awesome prices, this spot is definitely worth checking out.

Delicious food and consistently great service. This is always our go-to place in Jurupa Valley.

The ambiance is very cute...such a clean restaurant. The staff is amazing, the menu is very aesthetically pleasing and they have amazing happy hour specials. Tried this place out of a whim and I'm so elated that i did. Definitely coming back here with my friends or potentially on a date. For their happy hour special I ordered the playboy roll with a 2pc jalapeño bomb and on the side I got a yellowtail hand roll.

Decided to give this a try. My mother and I live just down the street and we normally drive to Wabi Sabi in Eastvale when we want sushi. The food was way better than Wabi Sabi. We had the baked mussels, albacore carpaccio, blue fin tuna nigiri, scallop nigiri, and a black dragon roll. Everything was delicious. The restaurant is very clean and not too cold or hot. I got the Super Salmon Roll, A California Roll & Bengee Pocket Combo. I liked the salmon in the super salmon roll, I was a bit disappointed and surprised that the rice was hard. I was excited to try the Bengee Pocket I had seen this type of dish on Tiktok and when I found out this place offered it I had to try. I had no idea that it was going to be sweet. Way too sweet for my liking. I had to take off the pocket stuff and just eat the stuffing. Of the stuffing I found only the spicy tuna and spicy salmon to be the best. The seaweed salad was SUPER fishy which I have never experienced before. I always order seaweed salad at sushi spots and they all somewhat taste the same except whatever I tasted last night. The california roll was a basics california kinda hard to mess up. The rice was a bit hard like the super salmon roll but other than that it was okay as well. I want to say that maybe it would be better to eat in restaurant than take out? idk. I would give them another try.. just ask for fresh rice (?) Overall the Super Salmon roll was my favorite i'm a big salmon lover, I would not order the Pocket Combo again. read more

So glad this place opened up so close by! Food is really good and service is very friendly and fast. Restaurant is clean and bathrooms are also very clean. They have a lunch specials that are really reasonably priced and they have them every day of the week. It's not a huge place but definitely worth ordering. I got the crazy salmon roll. Basically salmon on Salmon but it was soo good. For the rolls lunch special you get 2 rolls, salad and miso soup for $20. Its a good deal. Definitely give this place a try if you are in the area. read more

I placed an order for pickup and ended up spending nearly $70 on just a few items. For what you get, the menu is extremely overpriced. The yellowtail cuts were thick, flavorless, and honestly unpleasant. My edamame was literally frozen cold, something I've never experienced at any other restaurant. The salmon and rice bowl was bland and completely lacking seasoning, which is unacceptable for a $20 dish. At this point, I feel like I'm at fault for even spending that much money here. I went once and immediately told my family not to bother. Definitely disappointed with this location and won't be returning. read more

Sushi tastes great and their special rolls were interesting enough for me to try out. I tried every type of Sushi because I like trying new things. For their rolls I ended up getting their Asahi, Sour Candy, Okoku, and Las Vegas Roll. All of them were great and Sour Candy was my favorite with the lemon on top. It was pretty relaxed in there and the service was fast and efficient. This is definitely my go-to spot in Riverside for AYCE sushi.

Unfortunately, our last three visits have been disappointing due to missing items we paid for and poor customer service. Today, my girlfriend, her little sister, and I ordered three ramen bowls. My girlfriend is vegetarian and cannot eat meat because it makes her sick. She ordered the vegan ramen with extra noodles and requested that the toppings be served on the side, as I usually eat them. The second bowl was a Shio ramen with grilled chicken, and my bowl came out correctly. While waiting for our food, I watched the cook remove the chicken from the Shio ramen and place it into a separate bowl while wearing gloves. When our order was called, my girlfriend's vegan ramen still had the toppings on it despite our request to have them on the side. We politely pointed this out to the employee at the pickup counter and asked if it could be corrected. The employee responded with noticeable attitude, which was frustrating considering we were simply asking for the order to be prepared as requested. The bowl was handed back to the cook, who then removed the toppings by hand while still wearing the same gloves that had been used to handle the chicken. This raised concerns for us about cross-contact, especially given that my girlfriend avoids meat and can become sick from it. Because of that, my girlfriend only took a couple of bites before deciding not to finish her meal. Shortly afterward, she began feeling unwell. While I cannot say for certain what caused it, the situation was concerning and left us disappointed. We have enjoyed eating here in the past, which makes this review difficult to write. However, after multiple visits involving missing items, incorrect orders, poor customer service, and now concerns about food handling, I felt it was important to share our experience.
