My family came in to ask at 8pm what was going on and they said they were barely calling in all reservations from 6:30 and that It would take 15 more minutes. Not until 8:18 I received a message that my table was ready. me and my family walk in only for them to tell me to wait a few more minutes. what's the point of reservations if I won't be attended until two hours later and being told my table is still not ready After confirmation? read more

Do not go here if you want solid service or to feel appreciated.The host was nice .We Sat outside . No server. So we went inside to try that lol and still no server.20 minutes later we went to the host who got our server and we finally were greeted. We opted for non show /hibachi service tonight. The sushi was fresh and the presentation was nice . We had to ask for plates .Ask for soy and refills and the check .The server forgot the steamed rice with my sashimi assortment but I didnt want to have to ask for that also. Full hands in and out would be useful here for this location. Nobody i saw had ANY sense of urgency and all i could see is how much money this location must lose because of that . I believe i saw 2 managers on this shift but nobody checked on us or any other tables that i could see. If you like a 3 hour dining experience of waiting then this will be for you. Don't get me wrong, I don't mind a long dining experience - as long as it's an experience. But most of our 3 hours were spent waiting. We had reservations but we had to wait for our table to be ready to be seated. We waited for our server to come around to get our drink orders. We waited to get our food orders. We waited for our chef to arrive - that one took a really, really long time since appetizers and drinks were long gone before he arrived. We waited for other parts of our order to arrive. We waited for the server to come take our dessert orders. We waited for the server to give us our bill. We waited for the final bill to arrive. The whole time felt like a game of waiting with little to entertain us. It felt like a really long torture experience with uncomfortable chairs to boot, and we came out smelling like we cooked all day. Made reservation at 915 arrived and checked in before the reserved time. Went to Bar area before being seated and got a drink only to find out the table had already sat down and the host never got us and told us table was ready. Had to wait for next available at 945. Ordered our dinner and was told rice had been thrown out for the night!!! Literally one of the reasons we went . Substituted for chicken yakisoba which was way too salty to eat and was still charged. Refilled non alcoholic drink at table which was purchased at the bar and was charged again! Told the guy the bartender said we had refills just to tell the waiter. Still was charged. Never received our promotional item pumpkin pie and also never got the desert (ice cream) claimed they had closed the kitchen but was never told that before we sat down. Leaving this review very disappointed. I want to start by saying that although everyone was for the most part kind, the service was still bad. As you can see by the photo I have shared, the veggie portion I received was ridiculous. I don't know what went wrong in the kitchen, but for a table of 6 and 3 different parties, none of the portions were measured out right. Our chef apologized and said he'd have the waitress bring some extra of everything over so that we may all get a decent portion of rice and veggies, but nothing ever came. While I understand accidents may be bound to happen, the chef missed a catch and his spatula fell onto my sauce containers, making the sauce splash on me. It was embarrassing and I had to clean myself up. Today was a holiday and they were busier than usual, but our waitress really was not in the mood and was easily annoyed by any of our requests and was being very short with guests. I really wish I could have enjoyed my 5 course meal, especially given I paid over $50 for it ($70 with my drink), but the portion size was ridiculous, service was not great, I got my clothes dirty, and did not feel welcomed. This was my first visit since my gluten sensitivity began. We took our son for his 29th birthday. Gluten free was NO PROBLEM. I was relieved. They had Kikomann gluten free soy sauce. She served me first then made everything regular for the rest of the guests. Steak was tender. Food was on par. Service was great. We had reservations at 6:30 and had about a 5 minute wait for the other party before being seated. Our server was on her job. She took drink and appetizer orders very timely. As the drinks came she began with meal orders and then our chef appeared. We were very entertained as he was super personable and set the tone for a fun evening. Our food and drinks were good. It took about 49 minutes after being seated for our water and another 10 ish minutes for the soup to come out. After waiting an unreasonable amount of time we complained and were comped 2 of the appetizers. The food it self was good. The cook was friendly but the place was dirty and slow.
