overall, we had a good experience. The restaurant was full, creating a lively atmosphere, and the chef was very entertaining--the show was definitely a highlight. The food tasted good and was nicely prepared. However, I was disappointed by some unexpected extra charges. Fried rice and additional eggs came with added costs that weren't clearly mentioned upfront, which caught us off guard. :( Because of the lack of transparency on pricing, I'm giving it 3 stars. Still a fun spot for the experience, but I'd recommend asking about any extra charges ahead of time.

The establishment maintained a high standard of cleanliness, which contributed positively to the overall experience. I was particularly impressed by the live band; their performance was exceptional and added a vibrant atmosphere to the venue. The quality of the drinks met my expectations, complementing the lively ambiance. It was uplifting to witness a diverse crowd of individuals enjoying themselves together, showcasing a harmonious community spirit. I look forward to returning to this location, as the energy on Friday nights is truly remarkable."

This was my first time visiting for a night of celebration! The reservation was at 7:00 pm so we waited in the bar for our party to arrive. All of the staff were very accommodating and friendly. The service at our table was great. The server met all of our needs which included several allergies and substitutions. I ordered the land and sea with the Kobe rice & a coke. The steak and seafood was cooked well and of course the show was entertaining. The live music from the lounge was the perfect background ambiance for the evening. I had a great time and appreciated the service.

2nd time coming to this place from just shy of 10 year ago Open parking lot Primarily indoor dining Reservations recommended - can be online or on open table Waiting area limited inside but there is some sitting spots outside Multiple dining rooms for teppanyaki and a la carte eating. Sushi steak chicken higher end protein availability Kelsey was on top of the table through the noise heat and action, checked up regularly, and ensure had. Chef for the evening was very lively and interactive. Very similar layout to Benihana with the flips volcano smiley face heart heat and engaging with patrons attending Definitely family friendly setting and along with celebrations date nights group outing and it can loud between everyone table and celebration Order the manhattan and land sea Proteins and seafoods cooked well and flavored especially with the garlic butter. (Can ask for more and highly recommended as the garlic butter is the star!) Both tender and cooked just right. Meal Also came with ginger miso? Salad and mushroom broth like soup The crab wonton had a nice crisp but basically was fried wonton skin and crab filling so nothing too special Definetly a pricey high end place but plenty of food and entertainment value. Would return to visit in another few years or more.

Great Sunday brunch !!! Enjoyed Breakfast with the Beetles (advanced ticket purchase) and great way to start a Sunday. Bottomless mimosas included in the brunch and food options include omelet station, steak, sushi, appetizers, fruit, and desserts. Great service from Travis, bartender, with bar seating! Make sure to make reservations and would definitely return back.

Kobe Steak House & Lounge in Seal Beach delivered a fantastic hibachi experience. Portions were generous across the board--plenty of steak, seafood, fried rice, and vegetables--making it great value for a celebratory dinner. We came here for my mom's birthday, and the staff was incredibly accommodating, helping make the night feel special without being over-the-top. The hibachi master was excellent--engaging, skilled, and clearly experienced, keeping the cooking smooth, entertaining, and perfectly timed. Lively ambience, solid service, and consistently good food made this an easy win. A great spot for birthdays or group dinners, and one I'd happily return to.

We made reservations for Monday night for my Nephews 21st Birthday! We sat at the tipping grill and had truy the best chef! Everything from start to finish was delightful! The food was A M A Z I N G!!! We had 7 people so a little of everything including lobster! The portions are large and you get soup and salad with your diners. We took dessert to go The atmosphere is fine, vibrant and exciting! Mama and my nephew successfully caught flying shrimp n their mouth! Extraordinary! My nephew even got a special dessert! Superb!

Kobe's Steakhouse offers more than just a meal--it's an experience. With live music and different bands performing on various nights, the place comes alive with energy. Add in a dance floor ( although I say that loosely, just a spot between tables in front of the stage) and a crowd full of good vibes, and you've got yourself a fun evening out. The food was okay--nothing extraordinary, but it did the job. What really stood out, though, was our waitress. She was friendly, personable, and incredibly attentive, even with the restaurant buzzing with activity. That kind of service makes all the difference. And let's talk about the drinks--they were solid across the board, but the Tokyo Tea was a drink not to be played with. It's definitely a drink I'd order again. All in all, Kobe's Steakhouse is a great spot if you're looking for a lively night filled with music, dancing, and a little sparkle in your glass. You have to get reservations to sit where the band is. Seating is limited. But you can hear the band from the bar. Parking can get full real quick.

We came here on a Monday night to celebrate my daughter's birthday and had a great experience. We made reservations in advance and were greeted at the front door. After a short wait in the front of the restaurant--which was nice and even had a small indoor pond--we were seated. Parking can be a bit tricky, so I'd recommend arriving early. They share a lot with Spaghettinis and what looks like a hotel nearby, so spaces fill up fast. The restaurant has your typical hibachi-style setup, and the food was good. Our hostess was friendly and attentive, even brought my daughter ice cream for her birthday. Each of us ordered something different: I had the filet mignon and shrimp, my daughter went with the New York steak, and my son chose the teriyaki. Everything was flavorful and cooked well. I'd definitely come back--the atmosphere was relaxed, it wasn't overly crowded, and the prices were very reasonable compared to other hibachi spots we've been to.

This was my first time visiting Kobe Steakhouse and Lounge! We went for a birthday celebration and had an amazing time it was 12 of us and the waiter was amazing the hibachi chef was amazing and the food tasted very very good and well seasoned. The restaurant is super fun they have live music playing on Friday nights and it was just a really good time. You must come visit them!

We ventured to one of our favorite spots, Kobe Steakhouse & Lounge, the experience was amazing! The food and service are consistently top-notch. Almost immediately after ordering our food arrived and we couldn't wait to dig into our meal. Yum!!! The live music and singing made the dining experience even better. Fridays is n great night to visit. The crowd is friendly and mature. Everyone is there for a great time!!! Thank you again #KobeSteakhouseandLounge for an amazing date night.

November 2025, My first time here for my birthday, we arrived at our reservation time of 5pm, we enjoyed the 90 minute dinner seated next to strangers that we enjoyed talking and laughing with together. Wasn't overly impressed with the food because it was really just all tossed together on a hot grill and fried up with a lot of oil. In fact, the rice and the vegetables really tasted like cooking oil with a lot of salt the cook was putting all over the food. I shouldn't have ordered the filet mignon since I asked for medium rare but because the cook chops it all up into dog food bite pieces and fried it all up on the hot grill with a lot of vegetable oil the meat turned out tough and overly well done. We brought our own expensive bottle of champagne and ended up sharing two glasses with three of the strangers seated next to us. The restaurant still charged us a $15 cork fee just for opening up the bottle for us and us bringing our own champagne. I'm not sure if I will return because I can wok up a better tasting meal with better tasting rice at home. Our bill came to $126 for just the two of us for two meals that tasted more like Panda Express. The birthday singing was way too short. On a positive note, we did enjoy our company and the atmosphere inside was nice. Our waitress and the cook were just okay, pleasant, no personalities, but both seemed to be rushed since more people started coming in around 5:45pm , so that personal touch was lost among the staff. Honestly though, I probably won't be returning to this restaurant since I just don't like the taste of fried cooking oil food for the high price we paid... Although, my birthday celebration was nice.

Ask the Community - Kobe Steakhouse & Lounge

How much is breakfast with the beatles?

$30 and you have to buy the brunch $48.50

I know someone who bought tickets for Breakfast with the Beatles show, however, he just learned that only 1/2 in his group are able to attend, would he be able to get a refund for unused ticket?

I have no idea but I love the show, it's amazeballs!

Is it possible to get the Teppanyaki-style food at a regular table? We LOVE the food but not the "show."

No it comes with the food

What time does the Beatles brunch start and end?

Beatles Brunch is from 9:00am to 12:00pm for the Beatles, but I believe the brunch last until 2:00pm.

What is the dress code if any?

Casual, I seen people dressed in Business casual down to t-shirt and jeans. Just go comfortable.

Do you need different reservations to sit at the tables where the live music is?

    Yes

Is it Only teppanyaki? i want to go with a group and sit at regular table and order from menu

If anyone wants that style of food it will be slightly different because it will be prepared in the kitchen and served at a regular table or bar/stage area. Try yellowtail collar. It's delish

How many people can sit at a table?

They have different size tables from 2 - 10

I wasn't sure what to expect and if this was a going to be a fusion with Mexican flavors. It wasn't. It was typical Hibachi without the show. I ordered The Delux which was steak, chicken, shrimp with rice and veggies. This entree comes with 3 shrimps so I ordered a side of 3 more to share with my husband. The food smelled delicious and tasted so good too. I thought the chicken and beef was a little over done. I ordered the beef Medium but it came out Well Done and the chicken was slightly tough. I think if the meat was a little more tender and juicier, I would have given them 5 stars. The shrimp, rice, and veggies were delicious and flavorful. Shrimp was plump and juicy. Generous amounts of beef, chicken, and rice. Regardless, we thoroughly enjoyed our meal, and it was plenty for 2 people to share. Came here around 6pm and there was no one at the restaurant but the parking lot was full from other restaurants that share the same parking space. Ordered my food to go but the person at the counter was friendly and asked if I needed more sauce.

Diane was happy with two orders of All Shrimp Tempura, while I dabbled with one order of Assorted Shrimp and Vegetable Tempura that included great-tasting delicate Sweet Potato, Zucchini, Broccoli, Mushroom and Onion Tempura, besides hot and juicy Shrimp Tempura. Miso Soup was good, as well as a small included salad. As to which dressing is tastier between Ginger and Poppyseed Dressing, I still can't make up my mind. So, as usual, I applied each one to half of the salad. For my chosen entree Sukiyaki was fine--just not as hot as usual.
