Not only is the grooming impeccable, but the entire staff is always so welcoming, friendly, and kind. It's clear that they truly care about the dogs and their owners. Old location was part of a little strip mall with plenty of parking. Regardless, this store still has everything that I need for my baby. They have the food that we like to get as some other chain doesn't carry them. The staffs are always so welcoming and very friendly. There's plenty of things that they carry. It's a small store but pretty much packed with everything you need. Loads of brands that they carry. There toys, treat, apparel, and so much more. Pretty sure you'll find whatever you need when you're here.

Plus, I was pleasantly surprised to find that some of the staff from the old store are now at this location, in particular the fabulous Taylor who is an absolute gem - great people skills, professional and very kind. Apart from food supplies, I like the fact that Urban Pet stocks a huge selection of high-quality accessories - toys, collars, scratchers, etc - that are not common anywhere else. This is a wonderful store, in business for eighteen years (meaning, they know what they're doing) with free off-street parking adjacent (right-hand side), and a wonderful loyalty scheme. Highly recommended.

We have two little chihuahua mixes and they seemed to have some type of upper respiratory infection. We are headed back to Austin where we live but wanted to get this checked out prior to heading back to Austin where we have our local vet there. I called on Wednesday to schedule an appointment but they told me they only had a drop off appointment available on Friday. So I took it due to my concern for their coughing + wheezing. I had a vet apThey were also due for some blood work and the Lepto vaccine so I thought might as well do this as well. I dropped them off at 8a no issue. A little after 12p I still haven't heard from the vet so I called them to check in on the dogs. At that point, I asked what is going on with the dogs and the tech gave me more information on pricing versus what was going on with my dogs. Again, I assumed it was an upper respiratory infection but I am no veterinarian. Nonetheless, the tech told me they would be available at 2p. I arrived to pick the dogs up at 2p and another tech came out to with the dogs. Handed me a bag of medicines in which I had to ask what they were and how to use them. No instructions given. I'm use to a printed document explaining how to use the medicine and how often. Aside from that, both of the dogs didn't seem like themselves. At this point, I'm very frustrated. Before paying for my bill, I asked the receptionist to have someone come out and explain to me what exactly is going on with the dogs and what all happened while they were there for 6 hours. Because they seemed lethargic and one of them had their tongue out drooling everywhere. This is when I learned they were also given a pain shot, which was never discussed, pain for what? Overall, not a great experience. I am going to keep an eye on my dogs and hopefully to recover. I did walk away with antibiotics for them both, two separate kinds for each. I am disappointed by my whole experience for not only myself but my dogs. As they can't speak up for themselves and who knows what all happened while being back there for 6 hours.

The team at CVH guided us through one of the most stressful experiences we've had as pet owners. They carefully managed the necessary testing, medications, and expenses with both professionalism and compassion. Thanks to their excellent care, our kitten is now nearly two years old and has remained in FIP remission ever since. Beyond their medical expertise, their communication, scheduling, and genuine empathy are exceptional. Every interaction has made us feel like our pets--and our concerns--truly matter. Most recently, we accidentally showed up on the wrong day for an appointment. Even though the mistake was completely ours, the staff still went out of their way to try to accommodate us. That level of kindness and customer service is rare. I also want to mention that we used Fetch Pet Insurance during our kitten's FIP treatment, and it was invaluable in helping cover the significant costs of care. While that's separate from the hospital itself, it made an incredibly difficult situation much more manageable. I recommend Cahuenga Veterinary Hospital without hesitation. If you're looking for a veterinary team that combines outstanding medical care with genuine compassion, this is the place.

AI recommended Cahuenga and stated it's more affordable and handles cancer patients. Went for the first appt and they recommended a urine test and ultrasound. Had the ultrasound done. My dog had to fast for the ultrasound. I sent him to the ultrasound with his medicine and stated he needed it early morning but I hadn't given it to him due to fasting. I pick him up in afternoon, asked if they gave him his medicine, and they said no. I asked the tech and he says maybe because my dog hasn't eaten. I wish they called me about it. Then the next day I take him in for the urine test. The results came in on a Wednesday and I needed the results for an appt he had at a cancer specialty group on a Friday. They wouldn't release the records until the doctor reviewed them . Doctor reviewed them Thursday morning and in the test results (via email) the doctor recommended chemo. Friday I spoke with Cahuenga and ask if the doctor is going to call me with next steps? I was told they would have to check and to let them know what the cancer group says. I thought it was weird that they would rely on what another vet would say. I just said okay. The cancer group sends the appointment notes to cahuenga.. and guess what ... weeks later I haven't heard from Cahuenga. Meanwhile my dog has died. I feel like my dog was forgotten about and I feel like as a cancer patient , the situation should've been handled better.

Best of all they recommended a neurologist nearby. I was just looking for help for my dog when the seizure happened. We could've stumbled in anywhere but I'm so happy we came here. The veterinarian Dr Kumar, who treated my friend's dog was excellent, which gave me confidence to schedule one of my cats for a visit. However, as I was leaving, I clocked a referral to an after-hours care facility that's notorious for malpractice and misdiagnoses putting pets at risk, including one of my own, and that was deeply concerning. When I brought this up to the front desk staff member, I was met with immediate EYE ROLLS and a patronizing attitude. I explained that the after-hours facility had nearly killed my cat in the past, and instead of taking my concerns seriously, the staff member dismissed me with a flippant, "people say that," and rolled her freaking eyes. This dismissive response was not only frustrating but also deeply troubling. If I'm not the first to say this based on first hand experience (FYI I'M AN ANIMAL CARE SPECIALIST) then maybe believe people! I do have a review with receipts from the horrific experience at TC! After the visit, i took a moment to reflect on that experience. I decided to cancel my appointment, I cannot support a practice that endorses sending anyone's pets to TC! When I called apparently I got the same staff member... did I get a "any reason for the cancelation?" Nope I got asked, "how is [cat's name] doing? My response "I'm taking him somewhere else." I'm not sure if she was attempting concern but it didn't come across and I have zero incentive to give any further information. This combination of an honestly dangerous referral and the front desk's dismissive attitude completely shattered my trust in the practice. I sincerely hope the practice takes this feedback seriously and makes meaningful improvements. 3 stars for Kumar, but the front desk person ruined it and I don't want my pets anywhere near someone like that!

I recommend Bentley Mobile Pet Grooming to everyone that compliments Mille and Finn on their beautiful grooming-which is often! The owner, Roderick, treats the dogs as if they are his own pets. He is a true animal lover. He is always prompt and reliable. His attention to detail is amazing and often points out any bumps or skin irregularities that he finds. One of which was the beginning of a cyst that because of Roderick we discovered early and before it could turn into something more serious. He will frequently change shampoos according to what the dog needs that week. His van is state of the art, clean and comfortable. He has his own water and electrical source with the van. My dogs are fair less stressed because they are just a few feet from our house. He is a great groomer and an overall great person. I look forward to our grooming days-he is such a bright spot in my week. He is truly family. There is no one that comes close to his 5 Star service. read more

I inquired about mobile grooming for my just adopted dog. She has seeing issues and when I made the request I mentioned she had seeing issues. The owner wrote me back immediately and said "I no longer groom special needs pets". She has sight issues. WTF! Anyone who takes care of animals and sends a response like that should NOT be in business. What a disgusting and repulsive person. STAY AWAY FROM THIS BUSINESS! Unacceptable. Toni, the owner, personally answers the phone, takes the time to listen, and makes you feel completely taken care of from the very beginning. That level of attention really stood out to me. I brought my 5-year-old Pomeranian, Snowy, and from drop-off to pick-up, she received consistent, focused care the entire time. You can tell she was handled with patience, kindness, and genuine love. Snowy was pampered for two full hours, and I absolutely loved it. You could see it in everything. She smelled it, she felt it, and she looked it. Angie was Snowy's groomer, and she was exceptional. The way she handled Snowy and the attention to detail in her work truly stood out. The grooming came out perfect, clean, and beautifully done, exactly how a Pomeranian should look. Most importantly, Snowy was calm and happy when I picked her up, which says everything. As a dog owner, that kind of peace of mind is priceless. If you're looking for a groomer you can truly trust with your dog, this is it. I finally found my place and I'm not going anywhere else.

The amount of stress I had leading up to his first groom was debilitating considering he does not like strangers, he does not like grooming tools, and he does not like being touched by strangers. Luckily we found Jessica and the relief I felt after meeting her and seeing her in action with our little pup was immense. We started with a couple desensitization sessions - he nipped, he urinated out of fear, and he trembled (all while on medication). But she worked slowly and listened to his fear and over the course of those sessions was able to start using the tools while keeping him at or below his fear threshold. By session three he got a full groom and looked absolutely adorable. I'm not exaggerating when I say Jessica is the only person we trust our dog with. Our lil' guy is on the extreme end of the spectrum, and if she can get him acquainted with a haircut and bath, she can do anything.

He was great! He was very thorough, wanted to know what our needs were and told us what to expect when hiring a cat sitting service. We opted for two, 1/2 hour visits a day so that Emma would get some play time with Lawrence in addition to the normal care care, feeding, clean water, litter box cleaning, lights on/off, etc. I know that he did a wonderful job because we came home to a very happy kitty!! Lawrence is very thoughtful, he even sent us texts and photo updates throughout the trip. We have peace of mind now that our cat will be in good hands when we go out of town. Nothing beats that!!
