Roderick has been grooming my babies since late 2009 and I couldn't be happier with how awesome they always look! He is very thorough and always lets me know if he notices fleas, skin issues, or other potential health issues. He has the patience of a saint, which was evident when grooming my now dearly department Gizmo. In her last year of live she was deaf, couldn't see, and was very antsy, but Roderick handled her with grace and patience. Roderick is a true animal lover and professional. This guy has a real attitude, not pleasant, not nice. Paid $90 for a bath and shaving of our cat. Roderick returns with my cat after almost an hour and the first thing out of his mouth is "very bad kitty, very bad kitty." He basically scolded us for our cat's behavior, didnt wash the cat but still charged us the full price. Meanwhile our cat is very friendly and has been washed and clipped in mobile units before with no problems and by other services that gave us helpful, friendly advice and didn't reprimand or admonish us and our pets. I really dont know how some people think they can run their businesses by acting this way. I do not recommend this guy. read more

We've used Roderick for all our dogs (large, small, short and long-haired, including one sensitive blind chihuahua), he does EXCELLENT grooming and is just as sweet as can be with our babies. Roderick is a 5-star groomer and I recommend him regularly to friends and fellow dog park frequenters when they comment on Vinny's great looking haircut. Roderick was first recommended to me when I mentioned to a friend that my dog hated the groomer and I had actually skipped my last appointment because he panicked before I even walked him through the door. I'm going to start this review by saying I had to cancel an appointment about 6 hours before it was supposed to happen because my boyfriend who was supposed to be home got pulled into an emergency work meeting and couldn't stay at the house. I didn't know this the day before when I confirmed the appointment, and I realize it was less than 24 hours before. I was even willing to pay an extra fee for the inconvenience. I texted Bentley to apologize and try to reschedule the appointment and I not only did I get a rude response that was completely disproportionate to the situation, he refused to reschedule the appointment with me. He may be a good groomer, but I didn't have a chance to find out because he clearly has a temper, and it effects his customer service. Proceed with caution if you're going to book an appointment with him. Especially if you think you might have to reschedule. read more

Roderick comes to us, and his gentle way with animals put Boomer at ease almost immediately. Roderick continued to be our regular groomer until he felt that Boomer was just too old to safely tolerate regular grooming. (Boomer was 17!)
