This used to be my favorite sushi joint. We're talking five star with raving endorsements. That was right after they opened. Now they are adequate. Despite the decline, they are still perfect for sushi, or more. They are easy to find, have good parking, and have great prices. The staff are always incredibly helpful. I give this 5 stars for a bento place. I must say, I was nervous going here, since the last two teriyaki bento places I went to were not that great, but I saw a bunch of good reviews and saw it was decent prices, so I gave it a chance. I got B1, chicken teriyaki, 2 piece gyoza, rice, and salad. And a rainbow roll. All together it was about $18. There was plenty of delicious chicken, and the rice was delicious. It wasn't like most rice that you only eat if you are that hungry. The salad was actually a mixed salad, not stuff clearly out of a bag, which I know some people like. The rainbow roll was HUGE lol. It was pretty good too. I would definitely suggest this place if you want bento. read more

Wow, this place is amazing. I paid a little over ten dollars and got: fried tofu, REAL salad, miso soup, 4 pc of sushi, a spring roll, tons of rice and then I got inari on the side. I couldnt even finish it. Everything was delicious, the fried tofu was probably my favorite but everything was good. Hubby got bento no. 1 with beef teriyaki and couldn't finish his food either. He said the teriyaki was great: good cut, perfect amount, and great sauce. I will come back here every time im in everett. Two thumbs up! read more

This is one of my favorite stops in Everett for katsu and teriyaki. The combos are great with sushi at an add-on price, and everything I've tried there so far has been very good and fresh. The servings are substantial and I never leave feeling under fed. What I really like about this place is how meticulous the staff is. Even if you get your order to go, it will be packed perfectly, and if you dine in your bentos come to your table looking lovely. Everyone is very nice when you place your order at the counter. There is a nice dining room and enough parking to get in and out easily most times of the day. The only catch is that it does take a while to prep, cook, and serve your order. It's not fast food of course, and that's a fair expectation of good, well packed food. But you may want to call in your order ahead of time if you can't wait more than a few minutes. read more

I was pleasantly surprised with the Bento Factory! Hubs and I were looking for a teriyaki + sushi combo. We both ordered the Bento Box #1 and although the price is a smidge higher than what you might pay at another teriyaki joint, it's totally worth it. You get teriyaki, 2 gyoza, a real salad (not the standard "secret Asian sauce salad"), 4 cali rolls and rice. The chicken is delicious - no extra fat or gummy parts. It says a lot when I can eat every single piece of chicken without worry. Even the sauce tastes a little different. Hubby commented that the rolls weren't super fresh, but he goes out to sushi a whole lot more than I get to so he's a bit of a snob. I was just happy for some cali rolls with my dinner :) The restaurant is extremely clean, they have good green tea along with your meal, nice seating (again, not like at your typical teriyaki joint). This isn't somewhere you'd go on a fancy first date, but it's a nice weekday joint where you can go with your family or a friend. read more

The best Chinese/teriyaki place I've found in Everett. In the dozen or so times I've been here the food quality has been consistently good and I've rarely tried the same thing twice. Another thing that keeps me coming back is the price. I find it to be very fair-in-price and sometimes I am a little surprised by my total bill ("Hearty dinner for two under $15?! Hell, I'll give you an extra $5."). I especially find it cheap considering the quality and quantity of the food I've received. Elsewhere, I'd expect to be charged $10 a plate or more for something of similar (or lesser) deliciousness. The sushi rolls are great. The teriyaki chicken is teriyaki chicken, though I find it to be better than most places. The traditional American-Chinese food dishes are excellent (Sweet Sour Chicken, Tso's, Kung Pao, etc.). The bento boxes are great too. Most dishes come with large helpings of rice and a salad. Also, there's self-serve ice water/ hot tea if you fancy spoiling your supper with liquid. I've only ever seen one server lady and she's a dear. Further, I've always found the service to been great, though have not yet seen the place "slammed". If I had one complaint, I'd say that they play some goofy (or what I consider to be goofy) music sometimes (softly). It cracks me up- like ABBA to Jennifer Lopez to Blondie*. All in all, one of my favorite places to eat. *Not all the music is goofy, but rather the juxtaposition of such. read more

I love this local spot! They have a really good variety on their menu and all of it tastes pretty good. I eat here frequently (take out and sit in) and it is consistently good. I typically order a Bento Box and/or Sushi. Once I have had a spring roll and and gyoza that was a bit overcooked but that was definitely a freak occurance. It seems to be a family business, the same woman is there taking orders every time, she is quiet but very friendly, always smiling, and takes care of customers. The price is very affordable and they are quick at getting orders out. You can enjoy free tea while you wait or call in your order ahead of time. read more

I have been here twice and enjoyed both meals quite a bit. Trip #1: Ordered the Bento 1, which is the cheapest of the three bento box options. The price seemed kinda cheap for the amount of food stated, so I didn't have high hopes to be honest. However, that bento box had more food in it than I've ever received at a teriyaki place. It was good too! Ingredients tasted fresh and well prepared. It was a great meal. Trip #2: For some reason I've been craving tofu lately, so I ordered the tofu salad. This dish is a little pricier than it should be in my opinion, because what you get is spring mix lettuce, tofu, and sauce. On the other hand, the tofu was soooo good! It was littly breaded and complimented the sauce so nicely. It was just what I was looking for and satisfied my craving. It's sad, but even though I think it was overpriced (by a $1 or $2) I will probably still continue to buy it because it is so satisfying. read more

Not a bad spot! I always drive by it everytime I'm around the area and today I just so happened to be extremely hungry after my doctors appt. Ample parking space, nice and clean restaurants inside. Their menu was very versatile, I ordered plain terikyaki and rice; it wasnt as sweet as I would've liked it and they kinda skimp on the teriyaki sauce. The salad wasn't too bad either, the dressing was extremely thick but after mixing it it finally gave. So far this is the best sushi place in Everett. Everyone tells me to try the Cherry Blossom but they are not nearly as good. The place is small, but the service is excellent. There are specials all the time. I have been attempting to try something new each time, and the food comes in extremely large servings (more so then the Cherry Blossom). The price is very good, especially considering the portions are larger then normal. At the time my wife thought she had Celiac Disease, so we asked the server if any of the sushi we ordered had imitation crab or soy sauce. She ensured it didn't, and in fact the next two times we ate there she checked for us without even asking. I am always impressed when a server remembers who we are. read more

OMG! I was very impressed with the Bento Factory. Bento Box #1, with chicken was on special, so my mom and I both ordered that. The gyoza was light and crispy, not heavy and tasting of oil, the California rolls were about half and half with the avocado and the fake crab salad, the rice was perfectly done, and the salad was worth eating every bite. The main part of the meal, the chicken teriyaki, came out almost too hot to eat, we had to let it cool first, and with just the right amount of char and carmelization. I have been to many teriyaki places in the everett area, as they are almost as common as Starbucks. I'm not a food expert, but I love teriyaki/bento/korean food. They have all of that, and you would think that would make them jack of all trades, master of none. That is definitely not the case. I've been there about 7 times now, and I have never been disappointed. The rice is always perfect, the salad fresh, and the meat cooked well and delicious. Fresh and delicious food. I'm not really that concerned about the portions, but they are fairly large if that's your thing. There rice is really spot on. The rolls are okay, but this isn't really a place about the rolls and sushi. The Bento boxes are where it's at. The Korean dishes are excellent as well. The Udon is good, but make sure you add the seasoning the give you with it. If you don't add that, it's going to be very bland. After you add the season it start tasting like some pretty authentic Udon though. The Chinese Style dishes are also good if you're in to America Style chinese food. read more
