The food here is delicious and portions are generous. My family keeps coming back again and again. We have tried various pizzas, sandwiches and calzones and have never been disappointed. My son loves the nutella dessert pizza. I prefer this style of crust over some of the other local places. The family running the business is friendly and welcoming. Food is served quickly.

    Arugula white pizza

Absolutely the best pizza I've had in the area! Arugula was fresh and plentiful with imported prosciutto. Fox and Park soda as well as Coke products are also available. Menu also offer salads, pastas, sandwiches, and more. Family run, father and son on site. Will be returning soon!

Excellent food and service!!! Arugula salad stole the show. Very kid friendly. Highly recommend.

Great service and solid pizza, salads and calzones. We'll be coming back when we're in town.

I loved how inviting the dim environment with all their glowy lights was. I sat at the bar where this sweet bartender Liz helped me select a drink off of their extensive, delicious, looking creative menu. I started off with the cucumber gimlet given I needed something refreshing after running 3 miles. All the drinks were divine. The salad was perfect. I got my dressing on the side as well as their sweet citrus on the side but they know their stuff bc the cider vinegarette couldn't have paired better . I just say, and I feel this is most important other than the patient and menu guidance via Liz, this dirty pickle martini (which is subbed with gin) was the besttt martini I've EVERRRRRR had in my life. They make their own pickle juice here in house to mimic grillos pickles as much as possible. They are spot on, if not even better. I love this place. Everything about it is great, ambiance, staff, vibes, and most importantly their menu and the taste of their items in their menu. DIVINE. I will be back, maybe endlessly whenever I can . Thank you Cheshire Pizza & Ale !!!

We came for the karaoke. The drinks were good and the bartender was friendly and attentive. The karaoke host ruined it for us. He was making a lot of songs into duets. We wanted to hear people sing. They use a website to request a song. My date and I had put a few in, but the host kept playing songs in between everyone else singing so we got called up only once. There wasn't a ton of singers, but half the night was just taken up by filler. Other places have food and good drinks, and karaoke that features the singers, not the host.

My go-to has always been the salad with seared scalping a raspberry dressing. No longer on the menu. However, we're always looking for different takes on a vegetarian burger, including Impossible and Beyond. We both were in the mood for a burger and they have the Impossible burger on the menu so we were in luck, or were we? Backup to the arrival. The main bar area was very busy and unfortunately no seats available. So, we were seated in the back which is a very nice and more formal and original part of the house. Totally empty we were seated in front of a fake (non-heat producing) fire, decent ambiance, but it was cold and silent in there. We don't mind the silent part but the temperature was not good. It took a long time before someone came back with menus and a greeting, but we knew what we wanted to order. Two Impossible burgers please. No such luck. "We don't have them anymore", we were told. "Revamping the menu. Don't worry, there will be plenty of vegetarian choices", we were told. How about tonight? We needed to take some time with the menu and there were very limited choices. I decided on the special, asparagus risotto with grilled salmon. My wife didn't really want anything on the menu but settled on the veggie flatbread. The risotto was quite good. The salmon was slightly overcooked but still very good. The three 1/4 stalks of asparagus were good, too, but they could've been a bit more generous with the veggie. The flatbread was a big disappointment. The menu says it is topped with artichokes, spinach, onions, red peppers and mushrooms. We nixed the mushrooms. You can see in the picture that there were no artichokes and no red peppers. There were a ton of tomatoes (not listed) and black olives, which would've been ok had it been for me, but my wife doesn't eat black olives. There were only 4 pieces of spinach. So, after removing them, there really wasn't much left to eat. She wasn't happy. I guess we should've done what the gentleman in the hidden dining room next to where we were seated did, order Chinese food to be delivered!

I was looking for a spot to get takeout wings before a noon football game, and I noticed AJ's was open at 9 AM. That's dedication. LOL. Sure enough, there were between 5 and 10 people there eating breakfast and/or getting a drink the entire time I was there from about 10:45 to 11:15. They serve breakfast all day btw. I ordered 7 wings each of the following flavors: Hot Honey Buffalo, Cajun Dry Rub, Raspberry Chili, and Peanut Butter with a side of Spicy Grape Ape. The wings weren't breaded per se, but they seemed to be a bit flour dusted, in a way that worked well. The wing's weren't especially sauced, but the the outer texture of the wings really captured the flavor of the sauces and the wings were all really tasty. The wings were meaty and had good texture. I would definitely return for wings. I also got a bowl of chili for my son. I had a bite. It was a meaty ground beef and bean style chili with maybe a medium dose of Tabasco or another similar hot sauce. They topped it with melted cheddar. It was better than I would have expected for sure. Service was friendly. They have pool and darts. I assume the vibe changes upon time of day. It was pretty chill and "come as you are" while I was there. 4.25 Stars
