Corn, beef, hash omelette, and a side of sausage, gravy and biscuits, cartoon character

Monster in my Meal: i've been going to Berardi's for 45 years ever since my parents took me to the Hearing location when it first opened. These days I meet my friends for breakfast on the weekends and we normally have Barb as our waitress. She always does an awesome job and is so kind. Ordered the corned beef hash omelette with a side of sausage gravy and biscuits. Always a favorite and everything on the menu is just awesome. Thanks for all the great service over the years. Look forward to coming back again next weekend. By the way, there may be a monster in my meal for fun.

    Chicken and fries salad

This place has a delicious menu of food and the best chocolate chip cookies I've ever had. I ordered the chicken and fry salad and it had some of the best homestyle fries I've ever had. Prices are reasonable and considering the food quality this place delivers the bang for the buck. No wonder it's always packed! This place is a Huron institution, all the locals recommended it and it lived up to the hype. Friendly staff and clean bathrooms! 10/10 will come back when I'm in town!

NOTE: IN THE SUMMER MONTHS, PARTICULARLY FOR BREAKFAST, VISIT THEIR WEBSITE AND PUT YOURSELF ON THE WAITLIST. Breakfast, lunch, or dinner, Berardis serves up some of the best, traditional American food you'll find anywhere. The interior is comfortable and they are almost always busy. You can get a simple glass of wine or a beer, but this isn't a bar -- this is a family restaurant, owned and operated by local families who take pride in what they do. No matter what you order, it's going to taste great. Breakfast? I love the Berardis Classic breakfast; pot roast skillet; and any of the omelets. The quinoa patties are fabulous (although as a celiac, I can't eat them anymore). My husband swears they have the best sausage gravy in the area (he's a connoisseur) ; always orders a biscuit, or two, and often orders their pancakes or French toast. Linda; Barb; and Ellen have been serving up breakfast sass, smiles and laughter for as long as I've lived in Huron, and they now help me navigate my celiac. Lunch? Try ANY of the salads; they have great burgers; delicious perch and other sandwiches. And for God's sake -- GET THE FRIES! And the SEAFOOD BISQUE! And CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES! Dinner? Love the lasagna; beef tips (I order them rare); and the haddock. Truly delicious. Huron is hometown proud of Berardis -- simply an easy, good-meal-reliable way to meet up with friends, and staff that feels like family.

    Seafood chowder and Greek salad

Nice family restaurant! The waitress was friendly and Keep offering refills. We had the pick 2, mine was a cup of seafood chowder with a Greek salad, my boyfriend has a same soup with a ceaser salad. The soup was tasty, wish it was hotter. The salad was fresh and crisp!

Just a cute little family-friendly spot serving up pretty generic American fare. Nothing to write home about, but no complaints either! It's exactly what you might hope for, with absolutely nothing more.

Not a great experience after several amazing stops here. Waited 20 mins for party of 3. They didn't announce they were out of Quinoa patties so when we ordered them we had to re-choose, so we asked to sub the patty for a potato one, (which was 3.59 vs 3.79 a la carte), & they wouldn't do it. If they ran out of something then they should accommodate the customer, especially on an equivalent and reasonable substitution. After changing to another item, my wife wanted to sub meat for fruit & it was a struggle but they finally allowed it. Maybe more vegetarian items should be on the menu if they're running out of quinoa in three hours. I ordered pot roast skillet w/ just the potatoes on the side since I told server I'm diabetic & won't eat the potatoes. My skillet came out as two over-easy eggs with a minuscule amount of pot roast pieces scattered about looking pretty sad. After 12 seconds when my roast was eaten I realized my cheese was melted on the potatoes & not the skillet! & the roast was a tad dry so it could use some gravy or Au jus. The other issue was the slow service, so they must have been short some staff b/c we usually get outta there much faster. Bout hour & a half total for wait + service. NOTE - breakfast ONLY / no lunch on Sunday.

    Seafood Bisque

Went here twice during my trip to Huron - once for dinner and once for breakfast. Both times my meals were delicious. For dinner I got the seafood bisque to start, which was creamy and had plenty of seafood, as well as the meatloaf dinner with green beans and mashed potatoes. The meatloaf was probably the best I've ever had. Both meals I had to take leftovers home as the portion sizes were generous. Prices are also very reasonable. Our server for breakfast, Alexa, was outstanding; you can tell she really cares about her job and making sure customers are happy. I recommend Berardi's for a delicious meal in Huron.

Dessert case ( not my photo ) The coconut cream pie is awesome!

I love coming here when I'm out this way! It's local, food and service is always great & very fair pricing. Today my server is Ellen, very personable & efficient. Their fries are kinda famous out here...first fries at Cedar Point :) And they have a seafood bisque that they're known for...yum! I ordered the pick 3 and well, I didn't make the healthiest of choices, but it sure was good! Half reuben, fries & bisque! I usually squeeze a salad in the choice, but not today :-O They also have fresh lake perch and walleye! I highly recommend if you're out near Huron!

Under new management, the place has continued the Martello family tradition of great, handcrafted food in a hometown setting, but with a bit of an updated vibe. First, they do a fantastic job with gluten free options, and the chef's specials are phenomenal, also often with a GF capability. They have an artisan pizza crust,; tortellini; penne; and a Parmesan cream sauce -- all GF! The pizza crust is really terrific - much more like a "real" crust (which, their regular pizza is something I miss!) and they provide you with topping options that go from routine to delectably less common. I highly recommend their specials -- the chef is super talented; I love the steak tips; chicken Marsala; and fennel sausage (when they have it). Gluten not an issue -- try everything!! The Caesar salad is quite good, and the house Italian dressing a tradition. Their staff is friendly (shout out to Christina and Kate, and my beautiful friend Angie) the bar staff (the awesome Staci and Diann) who are consistently rated best in the area; and upbeat manager Hailey is a delightful presence. You can't go wrong.

Didn't taste much cheese, and the spinach was good but the flavor of it doesn't come through a ton. The vodka sauce with them was really good, and tons of mozzarella on top. Again, tons of raw garlic, it definitely needed to be sautéed or roasted (that would make it a 10/10). I liked that they put the noodles and the steak on separate plates. Spaghetti & Meatballs 9/10 Noodles cooked good. Sauce was good. For kids- I don't recommend adding the chopped parsley garnish. Chicken Parmesan 9/10 Really good!
