Absolutely, completely, insufferably loud throughout the entire meal, even when wearing noise cancelling earplugs and coming earlier in the evening. If you have any sensory issues, it's probably best to stay away, which is super unfortunate because the food was decent. We were looking for a nice Italian spot to try and were recommended Beretta! We made a reservation beforehand which said that seating was limited; however, when we arrived there was plenty of seating available. The restaurant was chic and modern. Their light sconces kind of looked like nipples though, which when you see it, you can't unsee it. Their menu was fancy. It was leather with an engraved "B" on the cover. We came to order pasta, but they had a good variety of dishes with unique ingredient pairings. Their drink menu also displayed great variety! I had a headache earlier in the day and didn't feel like drinking alcohol, but still wanted to try something fun, so I ordered off their zero proof menu. I got the Clockwork Orange, which had calamansi juice, kumquat syrup, and orange juice, but was unexpectedly creamy. I really enjoyed it, but if you're not into that, I might steer clear of it. We ended up splitting a pizza with hot honey, spicy salame, provolone, ricotta, parmesan, and calabrian oil. I ordered their lasagna ferrarese which had bolognese, ricotta, fontina, and parmesan. Everything came out nice & hot, and tasted fantastic! Sadly, although everything was delicious, the food didn't really stand out to me. It was still a great experience though. A really solid Italian restaurant and a great spot for a couple of people or a small group. The ambiance is elegant, yet cozy, and the service is pretty fast and friendly. On a Saturday night, my friend and I ordered a few delicious items that satisfied our dinner cravings! We started with their Insalata Primavera, which was a salad with fresh, colorful beets that was a great way to start. The Crab Arancini was another highlight that was crispy on the outside and had a creamy center. The Spring Rosotto was rich, creamy with asparagus and sweet peas. The risotto was luckily not too heavy. The Chicken Agnolotti was a tender pasta with savory mushroom with a hint of wine that brought everything together. Came here on Saturday for brunch, around 12pm. No wait, lots of free tables. Food was good. The walnut burrata bread was tasty but the bread is kinda meh. The polenta was excellent, a bit too salty. The funghi pizza is very good but the cheese was wayyy more pungent than expected. So the food is good not great. The service unfortunately was bad. The main guy who sat us and took our order was not very warm or welcoming. Never smiled or said you're welcome when we thanked him. One of the worst service I've experienced in the Bay Area. Came here for a late night dinner after getting home from the airport and absolutely loved it! Everything was so good. The drinks were perfect, the focaccia was divine, the pizza delicious and the meatballs were perfectly tender! 10/10 no notes!!! Everything is definitely shareable which is great. Service here was great, even coming late at night they were totally okay with it and food came out fast. I had to email them later on to ask for a photo of the menu (business expense) and they got back to me super quickly :) Ambiance here is an elevated casual. Definitely nice but not too fancy. Had a wonderful family style meal here for a friend's intimate wedding reception (~20 people in the back room). It is a cozy space. Some meal highlights/honorable mentions: meatballs (probably my fave), burrata margherita pizza with prosciutto, funghi misti (mushroom pizza), risotto alla zucca, and the panna gelato. I had a 5/5 espresso martini! We also had the prosciutto di parma pizza, cauliflower with romesco sauce, house focaccia, and tricolored salad. My second drink was zero proof - a cucumber high ball - a little too sweet for my liking. I think it's a fun concept, though. The panna gelato was really good but maybe way on the saltier side. I know it's supposed to be and the olive oil is a fantastic finish. Overall, it is a great little spot I would definitely return to- wasn't on my radar and now it is! They make a great espresso martini. Wait staff was so friendly and accommodating to our large party. They have a lot of dishes we didn't try, and you can even "build your own martini." Came for a holiday work event and they have a nice back area for 40-50 people. Fool me twice: Lime forward cocktail where the mezcal flavors were more prominent than the scotch. Crab arancini: nice crunchy texture, but crab flavors were subtle Walnut bread and burrata: This was delicious. The truffle flavors were prominent and this was a nice mixture of sweet and savory. Would order again. Cavoletti: Brussels sprouts were well roasted and flavors were as expected. Winter salad: The persimmons were tasty, but quite sparse. Came here on a Sunday afternoon for a late lunch with a friend and there was no wait. My friend and I decided to split a vegetarian pasta and vegetarian pizza. There's not that many options for vegetarians here. We got a mushroom risotto, which was sooooo delicious! Would definitely recommend getting this if you come here. We also got the mushroom misti pizza, which was extremely oily and... not really flavorful? It was quite bland. I also got the King's Garden cocktail, which is a gin based cocktail that was delicious. In terms of service, we did feel kind of rushed. The server came and asked if we needed a to-go box only after about 10 min of eating (they weren't closing any time soon and it wasn't busy). Overall, I wasn't too impressed by the pizza here. Had a nice time at dinner with several friends. They won't give you the table until all the parties have arrived, so while waiting I ordered a cocktail at the bar. I got a drink called chasing rabbit (vodka based), and thought the drink was just okay. We ordered several items: 1. Calamari appetizer (5/5). Great crunch, taste and texture with generous portion 2. Three kind of pizzas. Margharita burrata, bartenders pizza, prosciutto di parma. My favorite was the bartender pizza (5/5), while the other two were good but not as good as the bartenders pizza (4/5). 3. Arancini appetizer (3/5). I think it was lacking some flavor kinda bland. 4. Summer risotto (5/5). Very nice flavor and texture, worth to reorder especially for someone who prefers a meatless or vegetarian option. 5. Special for the day (flank steak with chimichuri sauce, fingerling potatoes and Parmesan salad) 3/5. Also lacking some flavors. My friends also ordered their walnut bread and caprese salad for apps which I didn't get to try, but they said they were pretty good. All in all, no one raved about the cocktails or wine that night, but everyone agreed that their calamari, the pizza and the summer risotto were the highlights of the night. Honestly, I went in with pretty low expectations but came out pretty impressed. A good location for date night drinks and dinner. My girlfriend and I decided to stop by here last Friday before catching a movie at Metreon. We were able to get a reservation for a table at 7:15 the day of pretty easily. We arrived a little early but we were promptly seated The restaurant itself is very nice - there's a bar area which extends to a small dining area. On top of that, there is an extended dining area for more people to sit. For our meal we shared an order of the walnut bread, olives , a bartenders pizza, and the bucatini. Everything was solid - The appetizers were just the right portion to give you a taste of something good but leave room for the mains. The pasta was solid - the fresh bucatini was very nice and cooked to a perfect al dente but the sauce left a little to be desired. The Bartenders pizza was a standout - the crust was cooked perfectly and held up well despite some watery toppings. Service wise, our waitress was excellent - very friendly and helpful. On top of that, for both the Bucatini and Bartender's pie the restaurant was able to accommodate my girlfriend who is vegetarian. For the Bucatini they removed the meat entirely and for the bartender's pizza they did half with sausage and the other half vegetarian. All in all, I admittedly went in not expecting too much but left very pleasantly surprised. I would definitely stop by here again to start of a night out with some friends. Score: 4/5 read more

Brunch was great, lovely service (we came in with coffee and put them on the floor to respect not bringing outside food but our server actually brought a cup over for us to put them in which was super thoughtful and kind. Their happy hour pizzas are great a great size for a personal pie, with two vegetarian options - I went for the pizzetta funghi which was actually delicious and I think its perfect paired with a shared appetizer between two. Although I have had takeout pizza from Beretta, this was my first time dining here as it is usually hard to get a reservation on Thursdays or Fridays. The menu was sadly, very sparse for a vegetarian :( as most of the items had meat in them. Having tried the burrata pizza before, we ordered the same and was served very soon. I wish it was piping hot when it came to us, as it was only slightly warm. Despite this the flavors were spot on. Also tried the agnolotti which was an interesting texture but tasted good. I had to make a reservation because it was jammed pack at 6 on a saturday. They also overbooked so we only had an hour to stay. The place has great lighting and the food came out really fast. Theres free matches in the front if you collect those! The pizza was good but actually thought it tasted better air-fried a day later. We got the traditional cheese and added burrata which was a mistake on our part bc the cheese was cold and kinda threw off the pizza as a whole. Should've just stuck with regular cheese. We also got an order of their lasagna. Which comes out on this cast iron skillet. It's cheesy, super hot temperature wise, and good. It was more meat than noodle heavy, thought it could use a bit more noodles. Again good, but don't think I'd order again, especially with their menu having so many more things that sound good. Decided to have a solo dinner here on Christmas Eve, since friends were out of town and I wouldn't see my fam until Christmas day. I've never been to Beretta before but wanted a nice Italian meal. It took me a while to get seated, as it seemed like they were understaffed for the holiday. Overall, service was very slow, but I was willing to wait for good food. Started off with the Trident Negroni, arancini, and burrata toast, which were all excellent. Burrata was delicious and fresh, and there was plenty of sauce for the arancini. The problem came from the linguini with clams. Every single clam had sand in it. One had many large grains the size of flaky salt. As a result, the entire dish tasted like sand, pasta and all. I debated sending it back but was already having trouble flagging down a waitress in the first place (the dinner was at this point an hour long) and so I just didn't finish the dish. Not wanting to be left with a bad sandy taste in my mouth, I decided to order the tiramisu for dessert. The taste was fine but the liqueur they used kind of just sat on top of the mascarpone. I didn't end up finishing it either. Was definitely disappointed in my experience. If I do go back, I would only do so for the small eats and antipasti. read more

The pizza was a decent portion and the meat on it had great flavor. The crust was thin, and not overly dry.
