    Lasagna ferrarese

We were looking for a nice Italian spot to try and were recommended Beretta! We made a reservation beforehand which said that seating was limited; however, when we arrived there was plenty of seating available. The restaurant was chic and modern. Their light sconces kind of looked like nipples though, which when you see it, you can't unsee it. Their menu was fancy. It was leather with an engraved "B" on the cover. We came to order pasta, but they had a good variety of dishes with unique ingredient pairings. Their drink menu also displayed great variety! I had a headache earlier in the day and didn't feel like drinking alcohol, but still wanted to try something fun, so I ordered off their zero proof menu. I got the Clockwork Orange, which had calamansi juice, kumquat syrup, and orange juice, but was unexpectedly creamy. I really enjoyed it, but if you're not into that, I might steer clear of it. We ended up splitting a pizza with hot honey, spicy salame, provolone, ricotta, parmesan, and calabrian oil. I ordered their lasagna ferrarese which had bolognese, ricotta, fontina, and parmesan. Everything came out nice & hot, and tasted fantastic! Sadly, although everything was delicious, the food didn't really stand out to me. It was still a great experience though. The drink was probably my favorite thing!

A really solid Italian restaurant and a great spot for a couple of people or a small group. The ambiance is elegant, yet cozy, and the service is pretty fast and friendly. The food is solid, especially the apps and desserts! Personally, I found the pizzas a little hit or miss, here's everything we tried: 5/5 - Spring Pea & Fava Bean Hummus with Focaccia bread: Delicious and refreshing pallet starter, a great way to kick off your meal. 4.5/5 - Margarita Burrata Pizza: Great flavors with the delicious red sauce and the fresh burrata really shines as well. 3/5 - Funghi Misti Pizza: the mushrooms were nice, but the base and the pizza in general was really lacking flavor. 5/5 - Pear Almond Tart with Mascarpone Gelato: a wonderful flaky almond tart paired perfectly with the delicious and light gelato, what's not to love? Food: 4/5 Ambiance: 4.25/5 Service: 4/5 Value: 3.75/5 Overall: 4/5

On a Saturday night, my friend and I ordered a few delicious items that satisfied our dinner cravings! We started with their Insalata Primavera, which was a salad with fresh, colorful beets that was a great way to start. The Crab Arancini was another highlight that was crispy on the outside and had a creamy center. The Spring Rosotto was rich, creamy with asparagus and sweet peas. The risotto was luckily not too heavy. The Chicken Agnolotti was a tender pasta with savory mushroom with a hint of wine that brought everything together. For dessert, we had a Classic Tiramisu that had not too sweet ladyfingers and mascarpone cream. Their Pistachio Semifreddo was a frozen mousse that was light, silky, and had a good berry flavor.\ Good dining experience!

Another masterpiece from Adriano Paganini. Back of the house, front of the house, side of the house, basement, and in the attic this cat knows what he's doing! Excellence prevails throughout! Adding this to my list of favorites and must return frequently. Don't hesitate, grab a date and participate. Note: I always judge a place by the cleanliness and niceness of a bathroom. Thus the added pictures. Every dish is scrumptious and presented to perfection.

Came here on Saturday for brunch, around 12pm. No wait, lots of free tables. Food was good. The walnut burrata bread was tasty but the bread is kinda meh. The polenta was excellent, a bit too salty. The funghi pizza is very good but the cheese was wayyy more pungent than expected. So the food is good not great. The service unfortunately was bad. The main guy who sat us and took our order was not very warm or welcoming. Never smiled or said you're welcome when we thanked him. One of the worst service I've experienced in the Bay Area. Unlikely to return given there's so many other Italian places whose food is just as good if not better and service is infinitely better.

Came here for a late night dinner after getting home from the airport and absolutely loved it! Everything was so good. The drinks were perfect, the focaccia was divine, the pizza delicious and the meatballs were perfectly tender! 10/10 no notes!!! Everything is definitely shareable which is great. Service here was great, even coming late at night they were totally okay with it and food came out fast. I had to email them later on to ask for a photo of the menu (business expense) and they got back to me super quickly :) Ambiance here is an elevated casual. Definitely nice but not too fancy. It's definitely moody and there's so much seating! It's a lot bigger than I thought it would be. Would love to come back here for their happy hour!

Our server Rahul was amazing and all of the food is just fabulous. Great spot for pizza and they have a nice patio too! Happy Hour here is also great!

We ordered the Risotto Asparagi, Margherita Burrata, Funghi Misti, Bartender's Pizza, Tiramasu and few cocktails. Food was delicious and everyone enjoyed. Good service and nice, casual ambiance!

Had a wonderful family style meal here for a friend's intimate wedding reception (~20 people in the back room). It is a cozy space. Some meal highlights/honorable mentions: meatballs (probably my fave), burrata margherita pizza with prosciutto, funghi misti (mushroom pizza), risotto alla zucca, and the panna gelato. I had a 5/5 espresso martini! We also had the prosciutto di parma pizza, cauliflower with romesco sauce, house focaccia, and tricolored salad. My second drink was zero proof - a cucumber high ball - a little too sweet for my liking. I think it's a fun concept, though. The panna gelato was really good but maybe way on the saltier side. I know it's supposed to be and the olive oil is a fantastic finish. Overall, it is a great little spot I would definitely return to- wasn't on my radar and now it is! They make a great espresso martini. Wait staff was so friendly and accommodating to our large party. They have a lot of dishes we didn't try, and you can even "build your own martini." They do brunch too!

Had brunch here with the husband and the fur kid. We sat outside. Beautiful aesthetics, love the door and mural. We tried their avocado toast with burrata, sunny side eggs and added a side of bacon. Yumm, the burrata made it even better. We also got the pasta Chilaquiles and an Arnold Palmer. Almost forgot, we also had the panna gelato. Nice brunch place. Located on Divisadero and Grove.

Came for a holiday work event and they have a nice back area for 40-50 people. Fool me twice: Lime forward cocktail where the mezcal flavors were more prominent than the scotch. Crab arancini: nice crunchy texture, but crab flavors were subtle Walnut bread and burrata: This was delicious. The truffle flavors were prominent and this was a nice mixture of sweet and savory. Would order again. Cavoletti: Brussels sprouts were well roasted and flavors were as expected. Winter salad: The persimmons were tasty, but quite sparse. I wished there was more to complement the vinaigrette and chicories. Margherita burrata and Italian sausage pizza: Flavors were nice and would get again. Overall, a solid Italian restaurant that should cater well to most taste palates.

Went here w my friend on a night out in SF. The food was good and the vibes were great! We tried a pizza and a pasta and both were delicious! The menu is a bit expensive but thats what you get for a more upscale experience. It was pretty busy so we ended up sitting at the bar, but the service was still good and our drinks came fast! My friend got the blueberry matcha cocktail which was a bit disappointing, heavier on the blueberry than on the matcha. Otherwise it was a fun experience and a great place to try!

    MUSHROOM RISOTTO
    Jacqueline Z.

Came here on a Sunday afternoon for a late lunch with a friend and there was no wait. My friend and I decided to split a vegetarian pasta and vegetarian pizza. There's not that many options for vegetarians here. We got a mushroom risotto, which was sooooo delicious! Would definitely recommend getting this if you come here. We also got the mushroom misti pizza, which was extremely oily and... not really flavorful? It was quite bland. I also got the King's Garden cocktail, which is a gin based cocktail that was delicious. In terms of service, we did feel kind of rushed. The server came and asked if we needed a to-go box only after about 10 min of eating (they weren't closing any time soon and it wasn't busy). Overall, I wasn't too impressed by the pizza here. Perhaps the non-vegetarian pizza is better. The risotto definitely stood out to me though.

Based on our two visits, coming on a weekday and later in the day seems much more manageable. Both of us ordered The Plow with the house-made pork sausage, which comes with eggs, Plow potatoes, and lemon ricotta pancakes. Such a satisfying meal! The house-made pork sausage patties were juicy and packed with flavor. The Plow potatoes tasted fresh and were crispy, crunchy, and rustic. The lemon ricotta pancakes were a great way to finish the meal--after all the savory flavors from the eggs, potatoes, and sausage, the pancakes with maple syrup were the perfect sweet ending. We also both got the cold brew with oat milk. Strong and really good--exactly how we like our cold brew! Service: Great!
