I called almost everywhere looking for a pool company that would do fiberglass and just when I…read morethought nobody existed anymore a week later these people popped up. I was elated to find them. It cost a huge amount of money to get this done. However, fiberglass lasts 4 times as long as plaster. Kyle was very friendly. The lady at the office could have been a little friendlier. The reason I took away a star was because even though I waited patiently to see if all the little details were going to be taken care of like they promised, near the end on the second week, I had to keep after them a bit to fix minor things that could become a major problem later. There are a couple of uneven tiles that my eyes can't un-see, and I was still finding masking tape after they left. I'm trying to ignore the uneven tiles. The workers moved some heavy objects that never got put back which normally wouldn't be a big deal, but I can't move the planter myself, it's too big and heavy. Overall, the pool coating is supposed to last 20-ish years with proper maintenance. I won't really know how well this held up for about a decade.. Overall, the pool looks great. I've used it a couple of times since it was refinished. Expect a lot of noise and pungent smells. If you have animals make sure they're indoors in an area that has a good air filter to keep them safe. The pool company will give you a letter for all your neighbors. I edited mine just a bit to be more specific for this situation and neighborhood, then hand delivered it to all the neighbors behind us, and on either side to make sure they were safe too. This is the fourth time I've used Gardner to remodel a pool over the last half a century. On each of those four jobs, Gardner has done an excellent job without any problems or delays. Once you use a company and get good service, you are likely to use them again. That has certainly been my experience with Gardner. All of their employees did an excellent job and were respectful of our property. My pool service technician services 80 pools and he told me that our pool remodeling was the best he has ever seen. He told me a litany of horror stories about botched remodeling jobs and lawsuits that some of his clients have had using these cheap "fly by night" pool remodeling companies. This time, Gardener installed a turtle in the bottom of the pool that looks like a real turtle swimming in the pool. If you are going to remodel a pool, I would consider a turtle or some other sea creature. It really adds a nice touch to your pool.

Wanted to trust this place but after an inappropriate remark, we will not be back. My Mom and I…read morewent in because we were having an issue with cloudy water in an above ground pool. Joe tested our water with the strips and told us our levels were unsafe and not to swim in it. He sold my mom some powders and told us to come back the next day to test our water again. We came back the next day and it was a different gentleman. He tested our water in a machine, took a picture of it with my phone so we would have record of the numbers and gave us more advice and told us to bring another sample tomorrow. Once again we came back with a water sample and he tested it in the machine again. He told us that the water needed liquid chlorine, but since we had been such troopers, he gave us a gallon of chlorine for free. We asked when it would be safe to go swimming again and he told us within two hours of pouring the chlorine but we could go now "If we wanted the carpet to match the drapes". I was appalled and had to explain to my mom what that meant when we got in the car. I told her we would NOT be going back. We took our water sample the next day to a different pool supply place which tested our water and we showed them the pictures of the machine at Sun Pool and Spa and he noticed that their machine wasn't working correctly because it had a orange triangle at the top in the picture. We had to drain the pool and we are starting over fresh. Women, beware....
