I'm almost nervous to write this review because I dont want to reveal my secret new favorite nail salon and make it to busy for myself! This place is an absolute GEM! The nail technicians are sp incredibly patient and they do such a careful job paying attention to every detail as they do your nails, they want you leaving feeling pampered AND have a lasting, beautiful finished product! I'm pretty sure that in my past experiences at other salons other nail technicians have gotten impatient with me from how long I take to choose my nail color that by the time I'm in their chair they just want to get the process over and done with. I'd never heard or dip polish, I'd always seen it on menus but had no idea what it was. I'm a nail picker and usually when I go to get a manicure it's a reward for finally growing my nails out. I'd had regular and gel manicures and none of them had lasted longer than a few days (I work with my hands) so I'm usually hesitant to get a manicure in the first place. while i was doing my typical indecision dance the gentleman (i forget his name) told me to take my time, but did I know about dip color? I'm not am acrylic nail gal so I was hesitant at first, but when he explained that it was your natural nails i was intrigued. i decided to give it a whirl and im glad i did! I've never gotten so many compliments on my nails and he did such a beautiful job! And did i mention how ridiculously reasonably priced this salon is? You get wayyy more than you pay for. I can't wait till my next visit. This salon is clean, they have a nice selection of colors, and the staff is super friendly. They talk to you if you're in the mood for conversation and give you your space if you're not. Like I said, I'm almost scared to write a good review because I know anyone who goes is going to be Hooked and they might start getting too busy! I have been coming to the nail salon for a number of months and I have enjoyed the work Holly has done to help get my nails and cuticles looking great. She is professional and does a great job. I do have a major concern about their employee, Apple. Every time I come in she is loud and obnoxious. She doesn't create a welcoming environment. I visited the shop today and as I was on my way out, Apple bad mouthed me to her customer. This type of behavior creates a hostile environment for anyone who comes here. This is also driving away technicians that do good work. I am sure that I am not the first customer that she had tried to drive out of this store! read more

I have gotten my nails done here a number of times. In the past, I've had no complaints but my experience today was terrible. I got there right at noon and was taken immediately for a gel pedicure and manicure with dip. I didn't leave until 3 hours later! Overall, my pedi was ok but I don't even know where to start on the mani! My nails were already cut pretty short but the tech kept filing and filing and filing until she was filing skin. I have dip all under my fingernails and on my fingers. I tried to get it off but had to stop trying to get it out because my nail bed started bleeding immediately. I'm just going to have to leave it to either come off on its own or wait for my skin to heal and it's very uncomfortable. Some nails have 3 coats of dip; some have 4, 5 or even 6 coats of dip. While I was there another person came in to complain and get a refund because all of her nails had broken within a week of her manicure. The technician doing my nails must have done hers because she (the technician doing) started yelling at the lady to let her know she doesn't make mistakes and doesn't lie. The person was still there when I was finally done but considering the conversation I witnessed I feel confident that she wasn't getting her refund. Sadly, I won't be going back. I used to enjoy the convenience of the location and the efficiency but this experience left me with a mess. read more

I don't recommend this place to my worst enemy. I went in for a basic pedicure and redo of dip nails and was in there for 3 hours!! Which would have been fine if my nails looked good at the end. Not only did they not look good but they are all falling off after 2 days. Must have cheap and it expired products on shelves. Most importantly I watched their pedicure girl straight up go from me to this other lady without getting new tools or even cleaning the tools! I should have said something but I didn't want to cause a scene .... now my right hand won't stop randomly going numb. I legit think they gave me something. Last, the gentleman that works there -- their walls are very thin- I heard him go to the bathroom & not wash his hands after coming out. Overall just a very nasty unhygienic place. Do yourself a favor a just drive 2-3 miles up to either green hills or 8th Avenue for a clean and nice nail job. The only positive thing i can say about this place is that staff is nice. I have given this place a few tries and have been disappointed every single time. The staff is rude, the lady doing my nails was laughing at how I did my own (which honestly looked better than anything they have done on me), and told me "you can't shape your nails, you're bad at it". She lectured me for the next 20 min about how to do my own nails and that I just shouldn't. The two ladies working there are yelling to eachother while one is with me and another is in the back, which is just insanely unprofessional and not a good environment for their customers to relax or enjoy their service. Off bat, I had to assist in the cutting of the sides of my own nails. My pedicurist said she was scared to cut my nails, but I brushed that off and stayed because she was nice. Unfortunately, I also received a very short, sub-par stone massage as part of my pedicure for an extra $15. I was told I'd get "around" 10 minutes of massage, and got a good 3 minutes at best of what were more like hot stone "caresses" and 2 minutes of regular massage for a total of 5 minutes. I continuously voiced what I needed, met by dismissive nods. When I communicated the lack of delivery on service in a polite, direct manner, I was told they wouldn't be doing my gel manicure anymore & that I needed to go elsewhere. Clearly, one cannot voice their needs at this nail shop, not even in a respectful manner. If you're looking for good customer service, go elsewhere. read more

Top five worst manicures I've ever had in my life. I wish I was exaggerating I asked him to buff my nails out and they brought out this ratty old nail buffer and I kept thinking myself scree it I'll just do it at home and they want to charge me $30 all they did was barely cut my cuticles which I also I'm gonna have to fix when I get home there was no lotion there was nothing nice about this did not use buffing polish it was terrible. She didn't even trim my nails/shape them. Unfortunately, this is not the first time that I have had a poor experience at this nail salon. It is near my house so I thought I would give it another try but it was just as awful. EDIT: in response to the owners post: show me what is included in a manicure on the brochure that i was never offered. Per you, you did not charge me to buff my nails since this was in lieu of polish. Let's start off with how I was there for 2+ hours and I was the only person there. They kept asking me if I wanted the same thing over and over even though I continued to say I didn't want it. After they asked a million times I agreed to get dip powder so they would stop asking and was told the dip powder and the polish would be the same because I was getting polish on my toes. They charged me $15 extras for long nails but there is no way these nails are considered long and my pedicure was trash. read more

Ahhh Yelp! Please what's holding the .5 start up? We all wear one in the eyes of someone. Any how. 2.5 for sure like on skills, they do have a lot choices of things that I would give them a 4. He is for the must part well behaved for an almost 1 year old, no fuss but me myself was getting impatient too after 45 mins. They were "busy" but nothing too extreme. Leon put one of my hands to soak but I honestly feel would have been better to wrap the nails with the foil and the cotton but that's not how they do it here. After a while my nails fell off, I only had 2 nails left on my other hand and my poor pinky was already lifted the wrong way but not ripped, that's why I came to a professional and not ripped it off myself you guys and Leon decided to just grab a fake nail and proceeded to rip it up and well blood and screams didn't hold up. The WORST. Do NOT go. Just don't. I got my nails done one time. In 1 day they were cracked and ruined. The nail polish was very clearly a dud. I went back to get them to fix them and they would only let me do the same color. I told them repeatedly that I didn't want to use the same polish because of how it cracked and they tried to claim I simply wanted to change my polish color, even though all of my polish was cracked. This salon was beyond unprofessional. I got a dip removal, gel mani and regular pedicure. Worst experience of my life. The nails were messy, had air bubbles, and there was polish all over my fingers. Not to mention that I had to keep asking the lady who was doing my manicure to make sure to do the sides of the nail. I really shouldn't have to babysit my manicurist. Now for the pedicure, it was rushed, uneven and he was so messy with the top coat that I asked "is that cuticle oil?" To which he responded "no this is top coat." I didn't know what to do so I just paid for the service but after further inspection in the car I just couldn't go home after spending $75 on a service an 8 year old could've done better. I went in and kindly asked for a refund since 9 out of 10 nails were incorrectly done and the pedicure was not up to standard. Berry Hill Nail Spa is terrible. My girlfriend had gone here to get a simple gel manicure and pedicure done but the quality of the service was absolutely terrible. After two hours of terrible service she reluctantly paid not wanting to start a big commotion but upon further inspection of her nails in the car it was pretty clear how horrible of a job Berry Hill Nail Spa did. My girlfriend decided to go back inside and ask for either a full or partial refund but Berry Hill Nail Spa denied it. Their reasoning was that "the service was already done." What they did offer was to potentially redo the nails if my girlfriend wanted but that would mean having to wait an additional hour for another available nail tech to become available. Naturally this was incredibly disappointing for her to hear. She already spent 2 hours receiving terrible service and now she would have to wait an additional hour, almost as if she was the one inconveniencing Berry Hill Nail Spa. Based off the quality of work she did receive, there wasn't even a real guarantee that the redo would be any better either. My girlfriend refused and left Berry Hill Nail Spa in tears. Not being from the area, Berry Hill Nail Spa was a referral from the hotel employee. Called and was able to get the appointment time we requested for 3 pedis and 1 mani. It was NOT easy to find, needs better signs out front. Walking into the spa, I was impressed how immaculately clean it was! As we sat down, the music playing was Christmas music in Feb, was a little weird, but it finally changed to something else. It took 2.5 hours for services for the 4 of us. We did not mind because we were all very happy with the end result. Would have given 5 stars, if I did not drive around the block twice to find it. read more

Nail technician asked me what color I wanted, and when I pointed to a neon color she laughed and said "are you sure!?" and suggested a different shade. They rushed through getting my nails done. The first night one broke. The following day in the sunlight I realized the matte black gel polish was almost see through! Another nail fell off 2 days later. On top of that my nails looked like they had 2 weeks of out growth.
