Holy. moly. The reviews were legit! I have been researching the best hair salons for the past 3 months or so because I wanted a rooty blonde balayage. I had found the perfect example of what I wanted on Pinterest, and to achieve it I knew I needed a talented hair stylist. I stumbled upon this hair salon because of the amount of reviews it had and how many stars. Even though it's a one hour drive from where I am, I still went for it. I booked an appointment with Danielle because based on the reviews, she rocked. The inside looked so clean and pretty. I have enough hair for 5 people. I showed Danielle the picture of what I wanted and she NAILED it. It took over 4 hours but she never rushed me or made me feel like I was inconveniencing her. She took her time and mixed the color bowl about 5 times. The moment she took the foils off of my head, I knew she had perfected it. She applied treatment to my hair to protect it from the lightener. After blow drying, cutting, and curling, I am SO IN LOVE with my new hair that I already told her I would be back for a touch up later this year. Go to Danielle. I had an appointment with Andrea Mitchell, and I had hands-down the best experience! I haven't seen a hairstylist since 2015, past experience in a different salon that left my naturally curly hair in the worst color and state it has ever been! The experience definitely has distanced me from going on ANYONE. Until I met andrea, she worked on a friend of mine with similar past issues and I stopped DEAD IN MY TRACKS WHEN I SAW HER COLORING! I needed to know who did her hair immediately, and she introduced me to andrea. Andrea did an amazing job! She was patient, knowledgeable, and kind when I had a million questions! I LOVE my haircut and can't wait to go back for my first color! I've been coming here for years. Cheron seems to almost telepathically know what I need. She understands texture better than anyone I've ever been to. My hair is adorable and yet super easy. Not to mention she's a ray of sunshine right down to her soul. Becky is incredibly warm and generous with her time. In the past, she gave me the most glorious balayage that helped me transition back to my natural color after years of dying it myself. I found this salon and booked an appointment for a haircut with Andrea. Upon arriving, I had to wait 30 minutes since she was still working on another client, which was apologized for. I explained to her that I was very attached to my hair length and that I was looking to just trim some of the damage on my ends, and she agreed that I could keep the length and trim about 2 inches to get rid of the split ends. She got very carried away with the scissors and by the time she finished my hair went from being just above my lower back to being above my armpits. I understand that she was implementing her professional judgment, but it would have been nice to be asked if I would be alright with more hair being cut, instead of just taking action and cutting off way more than the 2 inches that was originally agreed upon. I now have to wait atleast another 2 years before my hair gets make to the length it was. Overall the staff seemed really friendly and the salon was well kept, just make sure to be very vocal with what you want done. read more

Trey is amazing! I have have been going to him for years. I have fine-medium very curly, frizzy long hair. Trey does my keratin and cuts, and I can honestly say they are the best of either I have had in my life. He also balayaged my strawberry blonde hair, which was fun and got lots of compliments. Trey listens to my thoughts, is honest and kind, and at my request he gently guides me to what I would look best in and what I would be happiest with. He's also incredibly funny and smart. 20170505 - Wore long lox for 5Yrs & needed a change. Chopped it off & came to see Shannon to shape it. 20170513 - Returned to see Shannon b/c I wanted a stacked length; inverted bob & shorter. After the cut, I was handing her my card for payment & she declined. She sd I had just came to see her. That tells me that she takes much pride in her craft & wouldn't want NE1 to be unsatisfied w/ NE work she does even if the vision of the cut came from her client. I'm saying all this to say that even if @ my initial visit to her, I just wanted her to shape my short chopped hair- she's such a professional that after going home w/ the nicely shaped bob, I wanted it shorter & she was so gracious to not charge me. I'm so amazed w/ her professional courtesy b/c I have heard of others experiences w/ different salons who do not extend such courtesy- but, Shannon has definitely impressed me w/ her skill to take a short chop, shape it into a cute bob, and then invert. If you are looking for the best hairstylist in Atlanta, look no further! Trey will not disappoint you! Trey started doing my hair over 5 years ago. At that time, he was only cutting my hair because my mom was coloring my hair. Keep in mind my mom has never done hair before... After two years of going to Trey and trying to trust my mom's hair coloring skills a catastrophe occurred. In the mirror, I saw bright orange hair that was falling out.. So of course, I called Trey panicking.. It was so bad that I think I sat in his chair for 10 hours. We joked forever that I had side bangs because of the breakage. Now my "side bangs" are the length of the rest of my hair. He completely transformed my hair for the better. I now have healthy hair with dimension, strength, and shine. I trusted Trey with doing extensions and going fully blonde again for my wedding and he exceeded all expectations! Recently, I asked him to do a very thick "money piece" in the front of my hair. Very friendly staff and great atmosphere(: The salon isn't very big but it's definitely charming. Like someone early noted, it gives an anthropologie type of vibe. I booked my appointment through yelp but you can also book online through their website. Just a tip: they don't really answer the phone so it's pretty hard to get in contact with them unless you have the individual stylist's number. This was my first tine here and I had my appointment with Malcolm. He was super friendly and thorough with my hair. I came for a styling and wanted nice beachy waves and he definitely gave the life and volume back into my hair. He took his time and didn't rush through it. They also spend quite a bit of time washing your hair as well, making sure everything's nice and clean before they start. My friend was with Kristopher and he was very gentle and sweet as well. She came for a haircut and blowdry. She showed him the picture of the hairstyle she wanted and he was meticulous in creating that vision for her and explained everything he was doing the whole way through. One thing I also thought was really cool was that they all process their payments through Square, so you personally pay your stylist after you're done so it's pretty convenient. I usually have my hair done in Florida where I live for most of the year. But this year we are not headed to Florida for a couple of months due to construction issues in our condo building. My hair was in a terrible state, desperately needing gray coverage plus color with highlights and lowlights so I actually just started searching Yelp for the best reviews in my area. Bespoke had rave reviews so this was the pick. I called, and Jairo, who happens to be one of the color specialists, answered and got me in quickly. The shop is really cute and the atmosphere was very relaxed. I explained what I didn't want... which is how my hair looked that day, and Jairo just took over. I have very fine, hair, yet he spent probably an hour meticulously putting in so many foils. He was very gentle. I have had hairdressers pull my hair so tightly when doing foils, that I have been in physical pain. He also was very knowledgeable when talking about color. I've been having my hair colored forever and he told me things I hadn't heard before. I was very happy with the result. My husband saw it when I returned home and said, "that's exactly what you wanted". It is what I wanted and didn't even know how to articulate it. But Jairo worked his magic. Went into Bespoke Salon this afternoon and had a great experience. I am pretty loyal to the place I get my haircut, but when I put highlights in my hair I tend to go wherever is near and looks good as I'm not that picky about them. It's always very difficult for me to explain how I want the color in my hair to look, but Sunni Jo at Bespoke almost read my mind about what I wanted and actually suggested a few things so it would better frame my face and she was totally right. Another fantastic thing was the price point. As a male I tend to overpay for color just because salons have a set price point for color treatment that's supposed to be for females that typically have long hair. My hair is very short and my highlights take maybe 40 minutes to compete with minimal work so it's always hard to drop so much money for such a small difference in my hair. At Bespoke though they have a specific "male color" price for situations like this which will without a doubt have me coming back here to get it done. What can I say about Bespoke that hasn't already been said? I love their online booking system. As someone who hates to talk on the phone and avoids it any time I can, this is a major plus for me. You can instantly see who is available for what service or just see if your preferred colorist or stylist is available on any given day. The reason they use an online booking system is because they do not employ a receptionist. When you arrive at the salon, there is a seating area on the right and a small sign that says to let your stylist know that you are here. I had made an appointment with Danielle for a color and balayage right when the salon opened for the day. This was back in May. I had received a text confirmation of the appointment the week of through their online booking system, so that was really handy. I had a couple of photos to show Danielle. She totally understood what I was envisioning and set to work. I think the overall process took 1.5-2 hours. I really enjoyed chatting with her about weddings and babies, as we'd each been through the former recently and I've got a bit of baby fever at the moment :) I was super happy with my results! She even took me outside to snap a few photos. The only thing that caught me by surprise was the price was higher than I expected. I was thinking it was going to be the cost of a balayage service. I guess this is something I should have discussed beforehand because I wasn't sure what her price would be for both base color and balayage. I had gone to Lindsey before for a simple balayage, no base color, and my experience with her led me to believe that the price for balayage service INCLUDED a base color because Lindsey had charged me less than what she normally charges for balayage since no base color was involved. In the end, the price was not something that would stop me from coming back in the future, but I thought I would mention it. I've been washing my hair in cool water and using sulfate-free shampoo and my color still looks great nearly three months later. I can see my roots are growing out but it blends in pretty nicely with the brown tones she added. She really did a great job! Note: Danielle does not work weekends. To my knowledge, she works Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. read more

I've followed Malcolm from his two previous salons because he is THAT AMAZING. I make the trek from Woodstock to see him here. Went in with Henna (9 mos old) on my hair so we did some research, spoken with a master colorist, and went for it. Test strand went well so we decided to have some fun! My color is fun, flirty, and a little bold- totally matches my personality! I let Malcolm take the lead on my cut and color as long as it wasn't going to be too wild. He took his time, explained the process to me, and listened when I had questions. He put in a 12 hour day balancing me, two other cuts, a perm/trim/press, and my hair was flawless when I left. The salon is super cute. Music isn't too loud or crazy. Everyone was very nice and personable. It's comfy, cozy, and chill. I felt right at home due to my stylist and the overall feel of the place. There was a gentleman cutting hair toward the front of the salon and he was taking his time making sure his clients all looked sharp when they left his chair.
