Extremely rude and obnoxious customer service. I was there last week for the first time. After waiting for 10 minutes I ordered some home fries. The girl came out with French fries. I said she made a mistake, that I wanted home fries. She slammed her hand down on the table and rolled her eyes straight back in the frustration at me. I am the one who should have been really pissed after waiting for the wrong food and then having to wait again for the correct food. She gave no apology. Decided to give this place another shot. I asked for some ketchup to be placed in a bag while waiting for my egg sandwich, I got blown off twice saying I had to wait until my sandwich came out. Meanwhile, one of them had enough time chit chat small talk with another customer for 2 minutes while I watched. Don't get it. Was I asking for too much when I asked for some ketchup? The bagel was delicious but the either cooked it or toasted it too much. The onion was burned which took away from the flavor of the bagel. It used to be a great bagel shop. A few of the better workers left and they hired a new crop of non chalant people. Whether I order over the internet or in the store I wait for a very long time and other people who come in behind me with similar orders walk out with their order fulfilled. When I questioned it a worker barely squeezes out a reasonable response and no apology. The last three times I went I was not pleased and have not gone back. I used to go at least a couple of times a week. Sad to break off from them but, I will not pay my money to get mistreated with no apology. I wish some of the old workers were still there. OMG - Their bagels are awesome and he coffee is excellent, and even better iced! I strongly recommend the sunflower flat. Schmear of scallion cream chess, at least for me - is about as good as it gets! Especially when the flats are Suu fresh they're still very warm....YUM!!! I really like their multiple coffee flavor choices. And if you're like me, and a large just isn't large enough for your iced very vanilla, they'll put it in a huge foam cup, and shrink wrap it to keep it closed! There's 3-4 bagel places in this vicinity that a group of us were interested in going to for breakfast. The receptionist at the hotel we were staying at recommended this place from the 2 I had shortened the list down to. This place did not disappoint. Once you walk in the door and see that there's a line, you know that's a positive sign. Half the people in my group had a long night celebrating so carbs were necessary. All the cold salads and cream cheeses are in view in the refrigerator. Everything looked fresh and delicious. All 6 people in our group ordered something different started from a plain bagel with cream cheese to a variety of bacon/egg sandwiches and the full lox with cream cheese combo. Regular bagels and "flats" which are like flat skinny bagels with a crunch on the outside and chewy deliciousness on the inside. This place offers a variety of sweet items to including Muffins, croissant cookies and candies, along with a variety of sandwiches. I definitely recommend that you visit here, we're probably stopping by for breakfast tomorrow before we leave read more

I walked in here for the first time and there was no one else in there and I was looking at desserts on display for 5 seconds and the worker kept asking me "what could I get you" as if he needed to get somewhere. You could easily see I wasn't ready and was looking at what you have. I ordered 2 coffees with specific instructions and he kept asking me "how many coffees" with an attitude. Considering there was no one else behind me online, there was no reason to be this rushed. It was extremely rude. The everything bagel I bought tasted like a Dunkin Donuts bagel. Trader Joe's everything but the bagel seasoning is better than this. I placed my order through grub hub at 8:40 AM in the morning and the estimated delivery was 9:47 AM-9:57 AM.. (Best Bagels is 3 blocks away from my location) I thought maybe they do not process online orders until later. 10:15 AM food was still not delivered. My order FINALLY came at 10:30 AM with a missing coffee that was supposed to come with my order. My co-worker ordered a bagel with cream cheese and a hazelnut iced coffee which she said, "tasted like water and hazelnut". I will never place an order from this place ever again. read more

Reliable little shop, always for grabbing stuff on the go. They're so quick and nice and they speak both English and some Spanish in addition to who knows what else! The bagels aren't the best, but they're pretty darn good, and the sandwich selection is worth the visit. These guys pimp classic New York sandwiches. I had a Reuben, it delivered the goods. The food is always fresh and they get our order right more often than not! My only complaint is that their bagels are really small. I have been going here for years but I am writing the review to complain about the recent reduced portion size. They are charging more money than ever but they have reduced the portion size by half. I just got tuna salad on the bagel for lunch. There was a smudge of tuna salad with a heaping amount of lettuce and I got charged over $7.00. That is just not right! The staff is wonderful and the food tastes great but the owner and manager should realize that customer will recognize the change and we are not happy. Usually get a natural juice from their menu. Juices are awesome. Had the beet, celery, lemon and ginger with carrot. Tried their cheeseburger, was bomb. Fries are definitely crispy (had them with mayo). Got their cheese steak which was shockingly good. Nice moist meat and decent baguette size. Chicken salad wrap was great and fairly priced. Most importantly the staff were very attentive and friendly. Every time I go they are welcoming and helpful with options. Wish they were open later at least til 6. Long Island bagels are some kind of delicacy. You can't know what I mean unless you've had a bagel anywhere else-- for example, Buffalo. Add cream cheese, fish and lemon juice and I can die a happy lady. I like coming here b/c they offer a "lite nova" portion, which is enough to cover an entire bagel (flagel is extra charge/or they won't cover it with the lite portion) and I don't like my bagel top heavy with fish anyway. For $5.45 I am very satisfied. They also have DECAF FLAVORED iced coffee, which is unusual in a bagel place.. and it's very good. Most servers are VERY friendly and just above and beyond, but some of the owners (I think) won't even smile or respond to a "how are you" let alone ask you. You're running a business, use your manners. There is a decent amount of seating if you want to stay and eat. Parking on the street is a headache, so head to the back lot... no need to pay the lot meter on Sundays. read more

Today a woman on line ahead of me asked a customer who had just purchased a cup of coffee and was talking to the owner/mgr to please wear his face mask. The customer said he had taken it off to drink his cup of coffee, and reacted rudely to what had been asked nicely. I politely indicated that he was obligated to wear the mask inside, to which shouting and insults followed back and forth. Unfortunately, the owner/mgr sided with the regular customer. When we explained that face masks are obligatory inside, the owner/mgr said he wasn't going to deal with this and walked away, leaving the entire line waiting. I walked out. Shameful. read more

As the description of two stars says - Meh. I've experienced better. There is a lot of bagel competition in the area, and while the bagels are often fresh, they are very bland. Not sure why but they don't have any flavor, cinnamon raisin is just very bland, as are many others. They often have long lines given their prime location, but it isn't worth the wait. read more
