Best Buy used to be my go to store for appliances, technology, DVDs, CDs, office supplies, cell…read morephones, etc... They made a mistake in downsizing most of their stores. If you need a computer or printer cable they will have one. Usually one or 2 types for minimal selection and maybe only one or two of that item. When I needed an appliance I would head to Best Buy so that I could see it in person before buying. Open the doors and kick the tires. If they don't have the selection then people buy on Amazon. Sometimes you just need an item now and not in a few days. I have tried to purchase cell phone cases and Zagg screen protectors but they are usually out of stock of my items. I don't want to buy the phone and have it unprotected. Please restock the shelves and stores.

On this trip, my son had purchased a portable hard drive and was there for a pickup. It was Black Friday. When we arrived, we were directed to a table. They had staff there asking for ID and getting the orders. It was pretty easy. The other thing that we looked at were some kitchen appliances. They had a decent selection, but unfortunately not the OTR microwave ovens that we had in mind. One interesting note. Many of the appliances were plugged in and powered up, and not in demo mode. This meant that the refrigerators and some of the chest freezers were cold. And even more alarming was that some of the ranges could be turned on and get very hot. Now in hindsight, I feel a little awkward and guilty that we left without telling anyone. Maybe someone will read this review.

After purchasing a…read morebrand-new 50″ ONN Roku TV, it failed within about 79 days with a hardware defect -- no picture, just a black screen despite working power light. The warranty process has been frustrating, inconsistent, and burdensome: * Repeated requests for the same documentation and photo proofs despite submissions multiple times. * Now required to self-package a large, fragile TV without the original box or factory packaging. * ONN provided a UPS label with no transit insurance and explicitly states they won't cover damage during return shipping -- yet will void warranty if units arrive damaged. * No meaningful plan to address the absence of original packaging or transit risk. * Logistical burden of transporting a 50″ TV to UPS without support or reimbursement. I've installed and used many TVs over 20+ years with no failures -- this early failure, combined with the company's warranty handling, has been unacceptable. Far too much risk and responsibility is being put on the consumer for a manufacturing defect. Buyer beware: If this failure and customer service experience reflects typical handling, ONN TVs may not be worth the initial low price.
