I literally only shop here once a year at most. After looking everywhere in my house after vacation for my Alta fit bit charger, I gave up and googled online and Best Buy in Burnsville has a few in stock and $14.99 is price. This store overwhelms me and I was in a hurry and asked greeter where they are. He leads me to spot. Imagine my surprise they are marked $19.99. I explained your website says $14.99 and he said to show customer service. I showed customer service their website and was adjusted to $14.99. Thanks. 4 star review for having to correct Best Buy at the retail store level. read more

I needed a new dryer because mine died. Ignored my friends' advice and went to Best Buy in Burnsville because I believed they were more reputable.. ha ha!! Did my research then went in and easily ordered my dryer. Even paid extra to have the door reversed. The delivery driver called me a 1/2 hour before they were going to show up to confirm but instead of the dryer I ordered they had some other brand top load dryer on the truck. They wanted to make sure I would be there for the delivery. I explained I had not ordered a top load and asked if it was even the brand I'd purchased. The driver responded by asking if I was refusing delivery. When I said yes he said, "well I guess you'll have to contact customer service." Not sure why customer service would not want to contact me to apologize and reschedule but that's not how Best Buy works I guess. Meanwhile I get an email letting me know the delivery has been marked complete along w the install and all the other stuff I had to buy. The email let me know I'd get another email to rate the whole transaction. So I called the local number and got transferred to a call center and was told the hold time would be 11 minutes. I hung up to try again to reach the local store and again got the call center but in that time the hold time went up to 23 minutes. The machine said I could opt for a call back in 23 minutes so I agreed to that. I waited 23 minutes...I mean 2 hours and no call back happened. I'm still waiting in fact, several days later. Don't think it's coming. I started thinking that Best Buy had just stolen $1000 from me so I drove to their store. When I explained to the gate keeper why I wanted a refund he explained it was not their fault because I'd dialed the wrong number to reach them. He also asked if my only concern was that I hadn't received my delivery - at all? Ummmm yeah!! But no!!! My only concern is that now I think Best Buy is an irresponsible bait and switch untrustworthy place to shop. Will NOT go there for any of the other appliances I need to purchase ( except maybe to look at them and then buy them from someone else). Actually this should be zero stars. read more

Friendly staff and overall a clean and organized store. Pros: -Big store with lots of selection -Prices are reasonable-ish, though I'm sure if you shop around you'd find a better deal -Everything seemed to be in stock Cons: -Took a while to get help in the computer department - I waited at least 15 minutes before someone helped me. She was knowledgeable when she finally got there, but if I had been in a hurry this would have been a problem. read more

Went into best buy apple valley today to purchase a new washer. Walked in the door and was stopped and advised I could not go inside. I had a mask and thought I did jot read a covid sign. The best buy worker advised I could not go on until I told her what I was doing there. When I said shopping for a washer she advised she had no one for me to talk to. Advised I don't want to speak to anyone. She then let me inside. As I walked through the store I became more pissed off. Before leaving I asked for a manager for which one was not available . Another worker advised me this a best buy initiative to not let you in until you told then what your doing there. Advised I will never come back to this store or any other best buy if I have to give you a reason just to come inside read more

We are scheduled to have TVs installed tomorrow. I have spent an entire day dealing with contractors hired by Best Buy. Since the Burnsville location refuses to answer their phones, my husband drove there to make sure we are getting our TVs tomorrow. The manager said they would call within the hour. Instead we received a text that showed we would get our installation in 2 weeks. We called again and of coarse no answer. My husband drove there again because again no one is answering the damn phones. the GM guaranteed this was handled and that we would get our TVs tomorrow. Just got a call from the installer and he now says he is not getting the entire order. Best Buy is closed. This is absurd! If we get anything tomorrow it will be a miracle. read more

My husband and I went in today looking for an external hard drive for a gaming system. Tadel (I know I am spelling his name incorrectly) helped us. He was very knowledgeable, spent time in the warehouse looking for the product as it showed in stock but was not on the shelf, and made sure we had exactly what we needed to work with our system. We received EXCELLENT service from the Burnsville Best Buy!! Here's the story: Before ordering a mini-freezer online I called the 888 customer service number to ask if it could be delivered (not just shipped to our door) and taken to the room we were going to use it in. I was told yes, absolutely, no problem. But when the day for delivery arrived, it was scheduled to be only placed at our door by UPS. I contacted Burnsville Best Buy which is our closest store and one where we've purchased several things in the past. The manager (Amanda) I talked to said I was given incorrect information, that for the size of the item, it could not be delivered and taken to our inside room on the lower level. However, she said she would talk to her supervisor and see how they could help. By the end of the same day, after the freezer arrived from UPS, between Amanda, Tyler, and Alex, they solved the problem and the freezer was unpacked, plugged in, and operating in the DOWNSTAIRS room where we're going to use it. How GREAT is that! And they were each extremely professional, friendly, and helpful. Five Stars Plus!! read more

The staff is creepy, especially the security staff at the front door. Why are they checking me out? I just want to get a game/dvd/music and leave! I wish they would hire less creepy security staff. The layout is good and the selection is good. read more
