I have been in this Best Buy Store (representing the CPT) a few times but never wrote a review. The Compton Best Buy is always clean and the employees are always fantastic. Today, C.C. and Carlos helped me pick out a brand new LG Stackable Front Loading Washer. My old one died. To repair it would cost more than purchasing a new one. What I liked about C.C. and Carlos was that they were very knowledgeable, helpful and courteous. We scheduled a delivery and installation of my new unit two days from today, and Best Buy agreed to remove the old one. Returned a Samsung galaxy s26 ultra. Rude staff informed me that I could only either get a check mailed to my address within 10 business days or in-store credit for the price of the phone. I only had the phone for 3 days. No one informed me of this return policy at the time of purchase; instead, I was only informed of the restocking fee. Best Buy is a trash company. Their return policy is incredibly shady. Always poor customer service. I was polite to the individuals at the return counter, then all of a sudden a female employee inserts herself into the situation and mocks me, saying "the policy is posted at the front of the store." I've never seen the policy and I'm sure no is paying attention to some alleged post-it note at the front of the store. To anybody reading this, please do not shop at this Best Buy or any of them for that matter. You have more peace of mind shopping at Costco, micro center, or from the manufacturer directly. This company is subpar middle man at best. Read the other reviews regarding their returns. Electronics malfunction from time to time. It is the nature of the business. Very disappointed. We have been purchasing from Best Buy for years and have never experienced this level of frustration. I purchased a TV for in-store pickup. When I got home and was ready to install it, I discovered the TV was completely broken. I immediately returned to the store hoping for an exchange. After Geek Squad reviewed it, they smirked and insinuated that I was the one who broke the TV, stating there was nothing they could do. They gave me Best Buy's customer service number and told me to contact them. Customer service then instructed me to return to the store, assuring me they could help with a refund or exchange. When I went back, the store manager, Ken, completely dismissed my concerns and continued to insist the damage was not Best Buy's responsibility because it did not go through the Styrofoam packaging. Being accused of damaging a brand-new TV that was broken straight out of the box was extremely frustrating and disappointing.
