I recently visited this location to see if I could find a better price for Internet service than I had with my previous provider. Berenice got me started out and was really nice. I had so many questions and she was super patient with me and explained things thoroughly. I also had Dexter help me set up the AT&T app on my phone. He walked me through the process of receiving my new modem in the mail and setting it up. Both people were extremely helpful to me and not pushy at all. Not only was I able to get new equipment than I had with my previous provider, but I also will be saving so much with a promotion that was happening. So glad I made the switch to AT&T. read more

I went here to have my mom new phone activated. She is 76 years old so I try to do everything for her. I went here and a guy who wasn't too friendly assisted me. He first was rude and told me the phone I had was old, which didn't matter at all! That was uncalled for. I told him I wanted to turn the old phone off and activate the new phone. I explained my mom is elderly and he said he couldn't do it unless I was on the account too. I said can I call her, I hate to get her out (especially since it's Covid) and he said no! It was a simple task! I mean I could have face time my mom and she could have shown her ID, I mean ANYTHING to help with the situation. I went in to Replace my old 10 pro iphone for the new 13 pro. The deal was too good to pass up. Derek (a nice gentlemen) assisted with the transaction. Everything was fine until I got home and noticed that my Original charger cable from my BRAND NEW Iphone was missing/taken. The only person in contact with my phone was Derek. He even upsold me 2 new chargers to replace the 1 taken from my NEW BOX and the other as a replacement. The reason given for the double up-sale was said to be because the new cable was NEEDED and no other cable would do. Complete BS. I have plenty of cables that will charge my phone. What I am missing is my ORIGINAL LIGHTING CABLE that was supposed to be in my NEW IPHONE BOX. For that dishonestly and lack of loyalty to me the customer you deserve this review. One of the store crew took my trade in phone without putting it in the system and after waiting for months to get my trade in credits (bought a house in PV, got a new job, preparing for board exam) I got the monthly notice from ATT and just curiously check my bill and my 4th line is not getting trade in credits and went to the store immediately and they heard my complaint but no action was done. So I came here at about 1910 to just get some help because I'm having a hard time receiving media text messages over wifi, waitied about 30 mins before anyone actually "attempted" to help me. Which is fine since they were "busy". But I was pretty much told to do what I had already done several times, and when I kept telling the associate that I was specifically having issues receiving them when on any wifi he proceeds to tell me to call my internet provider. I reiterated that its any wifi, not just mine then was told if I had time I can come back tomorrow because the phone is under warranty. So I waited 30 mins to be passive aggressively sent away because they didnt want to stay late to help. Cool. I called to ask to speak with a manger, I ended up talking to Richard, to let him know that not how to handle customers, as was told that he heard the conversation and that I could come back tomorrow, again missing the damn point. I ultimately called att firsnet where they told me that multimedia comes over data and not wifi so that it would continue to be an issue. Pretty simple solution, but the dude with too much confidence in his lack of knowledge all while not listening to my actual problem, and the equally goofy manager Richard. pretty crappy impression of att, especially as a new customer. He asked what I needed and then let me know he wasn't able to help but would get help from one of the staff. From the way he was dressed I believe he was a manager who made me feel like he cared. Had to stop in to buy a new Glass Shield for my iPhone X. All of the associates were busy but they advised that they would be with me shortly. I did not wait long and Vatima helped me out. Not only did she show me the exact product that I was trying to replace, she also showed me a superior product (upselling) and provided a great explanation as to why the product was superior (it was a new Glass Shield that has curved edges so NO cracking and chipping along the edges of the face) and I really appreciated her doing that! I know how corporations are and they are always pushing their employees to upsell, however, Vatima did it in such a logical, friendly, no-pressure kind of way. My husband and I went into the store to upgrade our phones. The wait time was a half an hour. We got the best customer service representative by the name of Joji Junaid. He was incredibly helpful in telling us what specials that we were eligible for and also explaining how to utilize new services. We left the store with two new phones and DIRECTV Now service. We also purchased several accessories for our phones that make our lives so much easier. Joji is so helpful explaining how everything connected and functions together. If I could give zero stars I would!! Worst Store and horrible customer service! They have a tendency to discriminate. Employees need basic customer service training along with diversity training. My husband attempted to open a new phone line and had exceptional credit. He was approved right away but they refused to give him new Service...associate stated that his ID card and social security card was not enough. They stated they needed a utility bill to prove residency ...we brought several bank and credit card statements and car insurance bills and other mail items. We advised our utility bill was paperless and offered to show our account online. STILL DENIED. The associate by the name of Chance was very rude. I have been an Att customer for almost 20 years and this was by far the worst treatment I have ever received. We left same day and drove to the corporate Att store on Crenshaw and Lomita and got a phone and new line right away, all my husband had to show was his ID card and he was approved. This is how I know that asshole associate Chance was racist. It's 2019 please step up your customer service standards at this location. Went to this store earlier today. My mom's intention was to pay our cell phone bill. As soon as we walked in, we were not welcomed. My mom asked for help, to pay the bill. Instead of guiding her, someone just pointed to the touch-screen machine near the wall. My mom is a little older and obviously needed some assistance. Instead, she got none and waited in line. While my mom waited, I asked a random employee (didn't know he was security), where the iphones are. He pointed me to an associate. This associate was on a smart device. He looked at me, and pointed to the wall, which was only 2 feet away from the security. This associate didn't even ask if I needed assistance or if I was interested in getting one. Nothing! Just plain rudeness! I was upset and told my mom "Let's go to the other one near..." I've been a faithful customer of ATT&T for about 15 or so years. I've even used U-Verse. I even talk my friends and family into signing up, because all this time, I've been satisfied. I'm shocked that this is the first time I received such poor customer service! I used to live somewhere else before Carson. Because this store is much closer to my home and near my dialysis center, I thought I'd try it. Actually, now thinking about this experience all over again, makes me very angry. Joji is extremely knowledgable on all things AT&T he also has travelled a lot and has experience with international cellular and data connections (which is great b/c I often travel out of the country). This is the 2nd time I had the pleasure of working with him. Joji gave me recommendations regarding the best phone for me (iphone 6s), and helped me understand the ever complicated details of AT&T service plans. He made sure I understood the details of the plan and felt comfortable with them every step of the way. Lucky for me it's BOGO time at AT&T. I went I to get my new iPhone 4 activated and it was surprisingly pleasant. Being the third iPhone I've owned, I already knew the process was pretty simple. I arrived 30 minutes before they closed. The manager unlocked and opened the door for me and greeted me. It was still pretty busy. A girl noticed me and came to help me right away. She got my iPhone activated right away and even helped fix my visual voicemail that had been broken for a while. The whole process didn't take longer than 10 minutes. These guys straight lied to get us to switch our awesome grandfathered in unlimited plan to some new bundled plan. Long story short, I am really diligent about math and numbers and not signing contracts until I understand and ask questions twice. The sales guy AND the manager (who is conveniently no longer at the store) both gave us numbers that came out to "you'll pay $10 more and basically have the same unlimited plan but you get directtv and an iPad mini with unlimited data too!" First bill comes, it's way high. But, first time fees, blah blah, ok. We wait. Second bill. Still way high. We go in. They say it can take a couple billing cycles for the directtv and att bills to merge. Fine. Bills number 3, 4, 5 ALL STILL HIGH. We go in and now they are saying, "no. That's the normal bill. Looks right." It took a span of 3 separate visits, calls to both att and directv customer lines and bringing in our original contract with my notes handwritten all over to prove that we were not wrong. THEY LIED. I went to this location to purchase a new phone ay this location, The rep had no knowledge or understanding of ATT pricing, services or any device information. In addition, I asked the rep to add insurance protection to my new device, however she did not give me the right price and said the insurance i needed is not available with my plan. After i insisted that i was quoted a different price online, that is when it was offered to me. I asked for the manager, he tried to cover up her lies too, so I walked out without purchasing phone.
