When we went to the store to report the issue, we were told to call the next day to talk to a manager. I called the manager 3 times before he returned my calls. He said they did not have a replacement dryer and it would take 2 weeks to order one. He offered to contact LG . LG referred us to a repair company MTG who sent a repair person who didn't have a replacement part even though we had sent MTG a photo of the broken part and description. After the repair person left. Two lint filters arrived from LG. I went to Howard's this morning 12/6/2025 and it is closed with a sign on the door that says CLOSED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.

She is responsive, helpful, thorough, and just such a delight to work with. She'd call when she said she would, follow up with service centers and really advocate for me and made me feel heard. You may even hear from the owner with an apology, but nothing ever actually gets resolved. It's all talk and zero follow-through. At that point, it just feels like they're trying to quiet complaints rather than fix anything. There's a reason this place has so many bad reviews. Unfortunately, I learned the hard way. I would never buy another product from WDC again. No price is worth the stress and frustration of dealing with a company that won't stand behind what they sell.

I set up the appointment with them and Tom came out to analyze the problem. Within an hour, he found the issue and communicated with me the cost to repair. There are many more upscale kitchen cookware, knives that are European brands. the 2nd floor has larger $$$ electronic items, where it may riskier shopping. I feel like for expensive items, you'd be better off shopping at typical store where there is generous return policy, a la Target, Kohls. I've never seriously checked out their blanket and bedding section, but Korean blankets are supposed to be the bomb- mattress bedding that is super cooling and lightweight. I can only shop here on rare occasions that I make the long drive to K-town, so for me it's fun treasure hunt shopping, and I know I won't be able to return anything easily. This is also a great store to shop for cute gifts. The workers prob. can understand English, but don't expect American style customer service, that's not what you're coming for in older classic K-town businesses.
