Right after my misadventure and frustration at another nearby store, I ended up at this Target. It's a large Target with a good sized grocery area, clean including the restrooms, a Starbucks and a pharmacy. The beauty/personal care product area of the store is fairly large. I miss having Ulta here, but oh, well. Even tho this store is fairly busy, they don't have whole aisles of products locked up, unlike a nearby competitor. I found what I wanted and plan on coming back when I have more time. I stopped over in the grocery area, where Francis who may have been working as a Target personal shopper filling someone's list, asked me if I needed help finding something. It's so nice to feel seen in a store. As a senior, I sometimes don't feel that way. As I was going back to the registers, I noticed other employees asking people if they needed help finding things - one even walked a shopper over to the area that had what she needed. I feel like in what seems to be a stressful time in the world and in many of our lives, with increased prices and conflict. I will still choose to go shopping in an actual store if possible, especially a store with good customer service and unlocked nail polish remover. I just wish that Target would again have products that supported the LGBTQ and black communities. Even tho I am a straight old white lady, I still bought some of those products.

We used to go to Target all the time, but stopped because they rolled back DEI initiatives. This Target is definitely better than the other Targets in the area so would go here if you need to go to . Was able to get the book for 20% off which was nice. They have eliminated a lot of workers I feel like with the automated checkout areas, but that is the way the world is changing. I try to go to a human cashier whenever possible. Human connection helps us be better people and it might save their job. The book is great btw. It's a mix between Ready Player One and Hunger Games.

They were very rude and wouldn't even look at my phone even though I explained my issue may not be related. I reset my network settings myself, and it seemed to work for a while. Fast forward to today when I started having issues with my phone again and decided to take it to this location. I could not make or receive calls or get texts that weren't sent from another iPhone. I walked in just after another gentleman, and he was being helped first. There was only one employee helping people. The employee asked my information and started working on my phone while simultaneously helping the other customer. Eventually, another employee came from a side room and took over. His name was Julian and he was very helpful and friendly. He asked what I had done already, which were things he probably would've tried so saved him time. Then he did a little further research and decided my sim was failing. I'm not sure if I've ever replaced my SIM card in my older iPhone. He replaced it and my phone worked again instantly. I hope that was all that it was because it was an easy fix. He then offered me an upgrade with a new plan. I declined as I'm not ready to do that right now. My son wanted some glasses for school and some sunglasses for when he's outside for long periods. The salesperson showed us some nice options. He made sure to tell us about the sale too. After my son decided he wanted a second pair of glasses for his computer use, the salesperson asked for the optician to come out and size him for the right pair. The optician, Mario, spent a lot of time making sure the glasses were the right size. Both pairs looked wonderful on him! Their service was amazing here. Although it did take a while to find someone to help us when we first arrived here, the staff ended up being really great. My son ordered his glasses when he was here at the store, and they came today and look amazing on him!

Staff gave different directions about pick up and they're very disorganized. I ordered 1 whole pizza and 2 hot dogs at the kiosk, then proceeded to line up at the "pick up" line (b/c that's the way they do it at my hometown's Costco). However, after waited in line for 30 mins, I was told I need to line up at the "whole pizza" line. The staff did not give me the hot dogs even though I already waited 30 mins. I then proceeded to line up AGAIN at the "whole pizza" line. After 20 mins, I got the pizza but was told I need to step aside and wait 10 more mins for the hot dogs b/c they were out but they were making more. However when the hot dogs were ready, the staff had people who were missing hot dog form ANOTHER LINE (this was the 3rd time I was line!) When I got to the window, the hot dogs were OUT AGAIN, and they were not making more b/c they were closing. The staff told me to line up AGAIN at the cashier to get my refund. I ordered at 6:40p and I didn't my refund until 7:40p, an hour wasted!!
