I went here because one of the shitty laptops they sell broke while sitting untouched. Hirsham was taking care of us; he was polite and calm. Then he went to get Chris, who apparently decided the best way to talk to a customer was to talk down to them. He literally looked me up and down and scowled at me even before he opened his mouth to speak. Not sure who in the hell coached him on customer service. I explained very clearly that a laptop breaking on its own is obviously defective. Chris then spent his time looking for excuses, hunting for a scuff. He proudly pointed out a tiny scratch on the opposite side of the laptop to explain a hairline crack on the other side of the screen that wasn't even visible to the naked eye. Brilliant logic. Then their morbidly obese manager waddled in and escalated things further by telling us to "get the F*** out of [his] store" and threatening to call the police. So yes, I thoroughly cussed out every one of those rude, half-brained idiots who think it's acceptable to treat customers like garbage. Your life's crowning achievement is "manager at Best Buy." I went to the Mansfield location to purchase a television and recycle 2 old ones. My fault for not reading the fine print about only accepting limited brands without a charge, so I paid the $59.98 to recycle them. Then I went to look for a new television. Two associates were standing in front of the where the smaller tv's are, talking. I stood behind them, trying to peek around them. Neither of them moved or asked if I needed help. I walked around other aisles for a couple of minutes then went back to where the two associates were still standing and talking. Nothing. Didn't move or ask if I needed for assistance. Sure, I could have politely asked them to move. Instead I left and purchased the tv elsewhere. I will not shop at that location again. read more

I have never been treated so poorly I my life. We have multiple cameras and pay a service fee. 2 camera have been down for over 7 weeks. They have sent the wrong install tech 7 SEVEN times. The manager in mansfield Massachusetts will no longer take our calls we have lost 7 days of work to be here for a tech. They refuse to waive any fee for the last 7 weeks our service has been down. Should be zero stars, both for Best Buy as a company and this location in particular. I purchase a "certified refurbished" drone that was missing propellers, had one dead battery out of three and when I ultimately bought propellers, the drone wouldn't even fly. Clearly this wasn't refurbished at all. I reached out to Best Buy support and they told me I could drop by the Mansfield store to pick up a replacement. I asked them three times to confirm I would be able to pick up a replacement the same day and they confirmed all three times. When I arrived at the store, they told me they didn't have one and said "oh the support people online are always wrong". I told them that I was told three times that they did, and even provided the case ID number. The guy working the counter went to speak with a supervisor and eventually comes back with a new drone in a box. Without any explanation he says "that'll be $212". I asked him for what, and he told me that this was the difference between the price of a new drone and refurbished. I told him this wasn't what I asked for and he hadn't even told me what he was doing. Eventually I just agreed (in frustration) to return the drone and have a replacement mailed to me. When I got home from the store, I realized that I'd left my SD card in the drone from when I'd tested it. This was only about 2 hours after I'd left the store. I tried calling the store, but was redirected to a call center and told there was no way to reach the local store. They told me they left a message for the store manager and that I would receive a call back. Two days later, they have not. I also emailed the store, and again, two days later, no response. Do not do business with Best Buy. Corporate has the worst service. Do not make the mistake. They will make you suffer. I bought a GE laundry dryer from Best buy and bought the total tech support which gives us a 2 year warranty Shortly after U bought it I realized that it was not drying well and the clothes remain wet. A technician came and said that he fixed it, only to find out that the problem still exists. I called and they came back. and they said they need a part. Then they came and change the part. few months later I called with the same problem. Best Buy scheduled an appointment and never showed up. Technician name was Antonio. I called again about 2 months ago. They insisted that I have to pay for the service call although nobody told me when I signed up for total tech that I have to pay. Then the technician came here. He tried to fix it and told us to try it on manual and put it on 60 minutes or more. We did that and still the cloths are coming out damp. We called him and he came back and ordered parts. He changed the parts. Then we realized that the dryer is still not drying. I called the technician many times and texted him, no answer. I then called corporate. they set up another appointment. I waited at home on Saturday all day, nobody shows up or called. I called the technician but he didn't answer him. His name is Marlon. I called corporate and explained all the inconvenience. They said they can not do anything about it. When I asked why the technician did not show up or call, they said because the part did not arrive. I then asked why would you set an appointment and send me multiple messages that I need to stay home for it when the part did not arrive, they had no answer. They said they need to set up another appointment. My consumer rights have been violated many times. The lemon law does not seem to apply to Best Buy. Best Buy is having no regard to consumer time being intentionally wasted. I scheduled an appointment on the Apple site for an I Phone repair at the Mansfield Best Buy. When I arrived there was no record of my appointment, even though I had an e-mail confirmation. I was informed that there wasn't a tech on duty at that time and they were calling the customers to let them know. I had hired the Geek Squad back in June to install a stove in my house... Make long story short , I went two months without having a stove because the customer service within the Geek Squad dept. was HORRIBLE!!!! Every time they scheduled a technician or vendor to come in and install a brand new stove the person would either show up and not know what he was doing or they just decided not to call or no show up the day of the appointment. SO disrespectful and very unprofessional. If you ask me.. After 6 attempts of scheduling an appointments to have someone come in and install my gas stove... Best Buy is one of the stores I frequently go to, but always for a different reason. I'm always looking for something different, hence the fact that I never know where to go when I get into the store. The fact is, whenever I walk into this store, I never am able to either get the help I need or be able to find whatever it may be that I am looking for. They have much less than any of the other Best Buy locations in the area (no Magnolia theater, less TV's, less computers), and are set up in a weird, weird way. The employees at the return counter make you feel like you've just robbed the store, and aren't ever friendly. All of the other reviews for this store are accurate, it really is the worst I've seen throughout the Best Buy chain. Quite a disgrace for the company. Purchased a TV for our work conference room. It was defective out of the box. We called and were told to just bring the TV in and they would swap it out with another one (no box or anything else required to be returned). We brought it over and were met with hostility from the return department and they refused to acknowledge that they said to just bring the TV over (we even gave the name of the person we spoke to on the phone as well). I walked into the store to browse video games. Used my phone on the way to the bathroom. Came back out and continued looking at the games when an employee pretended to give me customer service by asking me different questions on games. Then he had the nerve to accuse me of stealing. I've never been so appalled and embarrassed at a store before. We walked to the front and I demanded they show me the footage that showed me trying to steal an item. They refused to show me any evidence. I explained I was holding my phone and they didn't believe it. Again I asked them to show me the video proof. They refused again and told me they called the authorities. No authorities showed up. No manager came up and no one showed me any pictures or videos or any other eye witnesses to validate their accusations. I've never been so embarrassed. I urge everyone to not go to this store. Went there yesterday for service on a product I bought about 30 days ago. At that time I was informed of things in the store only returnable for 15 days I said OK I understand that about you sold me this watchband for a lot of money, and it broke and I said temperature over 15 days I said you have by about five days maybe 10 days And I can think of three reasons why they should have helped me after I said whatever I'll just pay for a new one. I have got to have a watchband and I'll get a good one somewhere else number one many of their products are miss handled miss treated and you get many broken things from this location. My friend had to bring back his TV, which they tried to blame on him for breaking and it turns out the kids in the store just was throwing it around a load to match and it was on film so they had no choice but to replace it so they very reluctantly replace the TV they broke! I I waited 20 minutes for customer to come help me even though they were five bodies standing around with the manager over in the repair section that I I was stupid enough to pay hundred dollars for a lovely Amanda move so I'll wait 20 minutes and then very aggressively they wanna know what I want so I want another watchband I'm gonna pay for it which one fits so I finally said the kid over is quite rude that hands me the watch and tells me to change the band myself when I ended up back to him and say can't see it you are go ahead you guys some of the products you go put it on appreciate it it's just not a good store. I purchased a video game yesterday, but the game wasn't able to be played together with my family. I attempted to return it tonight (just over 24 hours later) and was told they can't return it. I would be fine with it if they had told me it was company policy, but the manager decided to lie about it. They told me it was illegal to return video games or CDs because federal copyright laws prohibit it. If you can't return the game because of company policy, I get that - you don't set policy. Bought a 12.9" iPad Pro online for store pickup. Got home and realized they gave me an 11" iPad Pro with a 12.9" label. Though I could have handled it better, Best Buy accused me of lying because their scanned bar codes don't lie...it wouldn't have scanned according to them, but guess what? It did and it's wrong. I called twice and they refused to replace it with what I ordered even though I called literally 20 mins after the purchase and have photos that they clearly sold me the wrong iPad that was mislabeled, it is too small for the 12.9" case I bought with it. I had to call Best Buy corporate and get a case number for the store to make this right. I'll go to another location after my experience today. I spent $1400 and did not get what I paid for due to their mislabeling then was berated and told what I described was impossible as if I have some brand new iPad Pro scam happening. Disgusted, offended but Best Buy corporate and my credit card company did step in to help. After this is resolved they definitely lost a customer. Update: the North Attleboro store was amazing and knew right away what the issue was. The latest 12.9" iPad Pro is 2" smaller than all other 12.9" versions. An 8.5" x 11" piece of paper is the same size as the 12.9" iPad which I don't understand but that is a question for Apple not Best Buy, but as a consumer I feel like I'm getting less. The cases that say they fit all 12.9" iPad Pros actually do not, you need a smaller case by a couple inches. They were helpful, respectful and assisted me quickly and resolved things quickly. It was pondered as to why Mansfield didn't recognize this right away and help me, but I'm just happy it's resolved. read more

I spent close to $450 for a wifi modem package yesterday and had the Geeks install it today. The Arris surf board recommended as the best range and best download was not cheap. Geeks came and went, but now the ability of the lap top to connect via wifi beyond 10 ft of the unit isn't happening. I have been on hold using two different phones and each time they disconnect after 25 minutes. How stupid are the online geeks? One asked me if I were using the computer that won't connect to communicate with him! This is a review of the GEEK SQUAD at Best Buy. I was skeptical of having these guys do any repairs to my appliances, I always used Sears repairmen. Well, last year I needed a repair on my refrigerator, leaking water from condenser, and I gave them a call. Perfect service. Had all the parts and didn't charge me for the part because it was the last years model. Awesome guy. Recently I needed a repair from my washer. Leaking on the floor. The same guy came to the house, well within the time they said, and quickly diagnosed the problem: crack in the drain hose. Simple repair, but he didn't have the part. This time he told me to buy the part at Home Depot and showed me how to replace it. Then he said, "I was never here." No charge for the 10 minute visit. Awesome!! read more

On 2 occasions in just 3 weeks, I received the same polite, knowledgeable tech reps and manager attention. Quick and patient. They saved me time and frustration solving my issues. The fridge is broken and dented (more than the floor model she bought), the dishwasher never showed up on the appointed delivery day and the laptop is so far so good. Over $4K worth of merchandise and the best they could do was, "Sorry, here's a $300 gift card." They cannot get the broken one until Thursday. Perfect experience. I needed a last minute laptop and printer. I walk into Best Buy and I'm greeted by an Apple sales rep. He educates me further about the laptop I came to get. The Best Buy associate takes over and shows me the printer I need. Both item in stock and on sale. He rings in the item and I'm on my way. First off the staff is clueless and non-existent and I know more about the products than they do, secondly, the place is set up so odd and you cannot locate anything nor do they ever have what you want in stock. My daughter's laptop was sent in for warranty repair on the screen and came back with a failing keyboard and touchscreen.The repair was never verified by the Mansfield, MA store and it sat there from 1/8 to 1/22 awaiting my daughter's return to college to pick it up. It was sent back to the repair center on 1/22 for an "expedited repair. A part was found defective and ordered without overnight shipping. the part came in and it has been waiting on an agent to fix it for over 6 hours. This was escalated to the "Executive Resolution Team" since escalation to the "Customer Care" line proved ineffective. I am still awaiting resolution.It is apparent that this company is only interested in making the initial sale and not providing quality warrtanty work in a timely fashion. Reason of review: Poor customer service. Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution. Absolutely disgusting...not this store but this chain in general. Multiple stores told us that our item was in stock on Christmas Eve when we got there it was out of stock in every single store. Every store also registered as having three in the computer.... Management offered nothing to make our multiple wasted hours in the rain right...I have purchased many high priced items here but they have lost a customer for life in me.
