I ordered a Garmin Venu 3S as a gift for a friend, and it showed up the very next day, which was great. After that, though, things got frustrating. There was no gift receipt or packing slip in the box, and I never got an email receipt either. When I reached out to customer service, I got bounced through a bunch of different forms just to try to find my receipt online. In the end, I was told I'd have to print it myself, which isn't exactly convenient. I don't get how a big retailer doesn't just email a receipt or include one in the package. A complete shit hole of a store yet the supposed geniuses that run these mega size companies bitch about how they can't figure out why their big box retail continues to die. Let's discuss why: We rolled in on a weekday about two hours before closing looking for a particular camera battery. Overall that section of the store is picked clean. The store itself has a few customers in it and only three or four visible members of staff, two of which are yukking it up at the front entrance doing nothing. My old lady eventually flags down one of the employees as he was walking by. Looking visibly annoyed at the question, he scanned the empty shelves and told us to "make it easy on yourself and go to Amazon because even if our website has the battery, you won't get it before Christmas anyway." On the way out the door, the woman at customer service (also doubling as the cashier) asked us as we were walking by if we had found what we were looking for since we were leaving empty handed. My wife went to this improperly ran store and asked if anyone was in the appliance section. She went to the the depart.ent to purchase 2 refrigerators. She was saying "hello" because no one was around. The supposed manager approached her in an aggressive and confrontational manner. She told him she was not hollering. He told her she was acting like a child. She replied that she was trying get some assistance. This phantom clerk was no where to be seen. She called me and this guy was still following her around and continued to speak to her in an aggressive manner. I heard his disrespectful tone. The police responded and asked my wife to leave. I'm the process of contacting there corporate office, we have been good customers to this location. Having purchased washer and dryers, stoves, refrigerators, TVs, etc. Update: Fortunately, I have a great son who use to work at this location. He spoke with the manager and informed them of how the incident could have been better handled and he also talked to my wife about ignoring the behaviors of others. You all have the most horrific customer service with a slew of lazy employees. Each time that your company is the absolute last option, doing business with you is a headache. Take some of the employees from standing at the door to ensure that the people from the community that you choose to open your store in are not stealing and open the checkout lines or fulfill online orders on a timely fashion. We bought a refrigerator from them which arrived defective. It took about 24 hours to reschedule a return pick-up for 3 days later. On the new delivery day, the crew couldn't figure out how to get on to our street because of construction - the same construction that had been there when we got the original defective fridge, even with instructions how to get onto the street. We're never buying anything from this trash chain again. Do not buy anything from Best Buy you can't walk out of the store with. UPDATE: Diakon Logistics LLC (a Best Buy contractor) came to bring our replacement fridge. They walk in, take a look and tell us they can't replace our fridge because we don't have a shut-off valve installed next to it, nor will they take the defective fridge and partially (without the water hook-up) install the new one. When I asked why the first crew was able to hook up the fridge, he shrugged and said he was a contractor, and he didn't want to be responsible for something going wrong with the water line. When I asked why Best Buy didn't tell us we needed additional plumbing BEFORE installation, he said he didn't know - and that it was another company that delivered and installed the first one. So. Buyer beware. Best Buy is garbage. Diakon Logistics also bears responsibility for this. They were the delivery crew who couldn't find the detour to our street for the second delivery, but somehow found it for the third attempt. The guys doing the installation were too busy to do the installation so they just left it and told me i'll have to re-schedule to get it installed. They also brought the wrong parts (gas line/adapter) and took some of my original parts so I had to go to the hardware store and buy new parts to replace the ones they took when I installed it myself. read more

We went to originally buy a pre-built gaming computer for our daughter and the Geek Squad members helped us build a much better one! They helped us pick all the components, and then built, tested and delivered it faster than we could have received the pre-built one. Not to mention that the custom one is phenomenally better than anything we could have gotten pre-made. They explained everything, answered our questions and we got everything to get running in only a few days! I can't say enough about the Geek Squad, as they went above and beyond to take care of us and just knocked the customer service ball out of the park. I have been shopping at this Best Buy for nearly 20 years and this experience was perfect. Additionally, our family is very happy after joining the Total Tech Support. I must confess that I was initially kind of annoyed at the idea of Total Tech Support, as my first exposure was with the Xbox/PS5 restock and did not really examine the other perks of being a member. However, learning about the other benefits of the membership and having the Geek Squad fix our computer...well, my initial impression was wrong and they now have an ardent supporter. I asked where the wired headsets were and was guided to an area full of ...wireless headsets. I asked again. "Oh," the associate said, "That's another aisle." He walked me over there, and then took off. No wireless headsets. Finally, I went to the information desk. Of course, they informed me that no such headsets existed, not just in their store, but anywhere. I eventually ordered one on the web and it was at my door in two days.
