Always an issue at this location, ordered an iPad online got it in today it wasn't charging and had no charger or wall plug. I contacted the chat immediately and they told me to take it in store and they should be able to help me either have one on hand to exchange or re order. Once we got in around 1:15 pm went to the customer service section and directed to the woman there. She asked what I was in for and told her the issues she let me know she couldn't do anything other than return it and try to re order. She then proceeded to tell me multiple times with out prompting that buying cheaper items will be missing things and not work which i told her was an advertisement issue as the details when I purchased the iPad stated it will be in working condition and have a charger but she kept telling me how me choosing a cheaper model will not be a good option which I did not understand as it should be completely functional if it's being sold by such a large retailer. She told me so many times that it made me feel like she was targeting me for not being able to purchase a newer more expensive model, and made me feel quite bad about what I am able to afford as I figure being able to buy any iPad is a luxury regardless of the price point and for her to mention multiple times on my purchase choice and how I should just buy a newer more expensive one after telling her that was not something I could do. She was then visibly more rude and expressive tense body language as she tried to charge me for other things when this was an exchange and I shouldn't have to be charged for extras that I did not ask for. She made a play of her being unavailable to remove the extra charges until I told her I would not be paying that and she could get a manager out here for me to talk to about the issues and magically the extra charges where gone and we were able to get out of there but of course she had to tell me again that me just choosing the same option was bad since it would probably come in the same as the last and I was just making a bad choice and to just pay for the newer one. Came in to Geek Squad to see about having my custom pc fixed. Edwin and Ivan were the one's who worked with me through the lengthy processes helping figure out what was the issue and they did a great job walking me through steps I needed to take and alternatives I could attempt in order to get my desktop up and running again. And although we had to end with an unideal set-up (no fault from them and requested by me) we were able to get it working. Like one of the other reviewers, if I could give them a zero, I would. I bought a router because I thought that was the problem with my internet. It wasn't. We've had the worse storm in our area, so once it cleared I tried to return it 2 days after the 15-day return policy. Who has a 15-day return policy?! They would not give me my money back! They said the would do me a "favor" and give me a store credit or nothing. I spoke to someone who said was the assistant store manager and she was the rudest person I've ever had to deal with. Jordan shared with us that the store didn't have any displays but he was very attentive to researching online and assisting with an in-store purchase. I decided to try my luck and go shopping during black Friday weekend this year and to my surprise it was a delight. I was able to look around and see what deals were there, really feel the holiday rush and buy what I came to get. The highlight of my night was actually interacting with a gentleman by the name of Matt. When I say this man is an asset to this store, I mean it. He was calm and collected on the busiest day of the year, and even made time to greet me and my family, and really see that our needs were met. He knew the ad inside and out, knew where items were placed, and even knew a good majority of the prices off the top of his head. The prices are fair I guess, the but service more than made up for any complaints I could have about prices. Thank you Matt for being so courteous to my family and I, and for handling unruly, complaining shoppers in such a way that exemplifies customer service. My iPad Air battery is slowly dying after roughly 4 years of gReat service, and browsing Apple's website to schedule a service, I was directed to my local Best Buy, and even had a scheduled appointment set for that afternoon. How convenient! Needlessly, after standing and waiting patiently for 15 minutes past my appointment time, I was informed by the Best Buy technician that Apple does not authorize or recommend replacement of iPad batteries. Has a bug problem and sales people that completely lie to you. Sales person sold me a phone with the promise I would recieve 800$ for my old one. I was supposed to receive a box in the mail to return the old phone. 3 weeks later, Box never showed. I went back and they said give it a few more weeks. Few weeks come and go and turns out I had 2 weeks to return the phone. So the sales person just completely lied to me. Also they told me I vould transfer my sd card date from one phone to the next. Then when I came back in to ask them to show me how they said you can't and sold me a 40$ file transfer device.. like come on just lie after lie...all sales people are the same. I specifically chose Best Buy for my stereo install FOR IT'S "FREE INSTALLATION." Of course it was NOT a free installation. I had to buy ALL of the installation parts too prior to arrival, and upon arrival they added a $40 labor charge, calling it labor for attaching the video cable to my already existing rear camera. When I set up my appointment for the install, the girl was extremely condescending and kept talking over me. She made me buy the install parts, then asked me what address to send them to, to which I asked if they could be sent to the store since the stereo was shipped to the store and I was going to the store for the install, wouldn't it make sense to have both items already there? She chuffed at me, like this was just unheard of, and said to me "Well, MOST people send it to themselves and bring it with them." But like, why? Why was this beyond the realm of possibilities? Like am I not supposed to help them and save steps to make their job easier? How dare I. At the end of the call, she told me to go the front of the store to pick up my items. The front of the store told me that was wrong, go to the garage bay. I went to garage bay and knocked on the door because the door was locked. The person on the other side KNOCKED BACK, which was unprofessional and just so, so, so, so unnecessary. He then opened the door, said NOTHING to me, didn't even look at me, and walked away, leaving the door open. I came in and sat down, he said nothing to me until he was ready to. Was he annoyed that I came to the garage, which is wild because I was SENT to the garage by the people at the front desk. When he finally addressed me, he asked me for my parts, I advised him everything was at the front of the store and they had sent me to the back. I gave him both of my receipts, with scanning bar and everything, for both the stereo and the ALL the install parts. He went to the front and came back with just the stereo and asked me "Where are the parts?" I had to pull the receipt for the parts out of his hand, as I had already given him the receipt and he had to go back to the front of the store to get the parts, which wouldn't be an issue if I hadn't TOLD HIM prior to going to the front of the store to pick up my items that the receipts are for both items he would be looking for. I literally tried to save him a second trip, and yet he came back still annoyed. My dude, I told you. I told you. I told you and you chose not to listen. My dude, the receipts are in your hands, why the 'tude? I get that everyone is wild and feral and crazy now, and I try to approach people with kindness first, ALWAYS, so as not to set off already triggered people. What a scam and horrible service. I'll explain. I went to this store Looking for a 10.2 cubic refrigerator which I had found online on clearance for $254.99 and originally sold for $424.99 (white). Keep in mind these refrigerators were brand new in the box. So, here's where it gets good. I'm walking through the appliance section and I discover the same exact unit except in Black and was priced at $318.99 and was tagged as an open box item (see the pics). The sales person met with me and I offered to pay the $254.99 for this out of box unit and was told no. He told me that the price was more because the refrigerator was Black. (Ridiculous). He then left to go ask the store manager and upon his return he said the manager said no even though both units retail for $424.99. I then asked for the manager to come Speak with me and I was promptly told he couldn't because he was eating. (Unacceptable). As a result of all of this nonsense, Best Buy has lost a good paying customer. It makes zero sense that Best Buy would not even price match there own product. I'm so upset. Poor service continues years later. Came here to buy a MacBook Pro after my daughters died and needed to buy one today 10/20/21 (really, I was desperate to just walk in, buy, and leave). I have been shopping here for over 20 years. I always get extended warranties and never have any issues with returns or customer service. There are just a few occasions that I felt customer service gave me some issues but Management has always taken care of. We came into the store right before closing. We were having issues with our phones we purchased there a year ago. The phone dept. was closed already but thank goodness there was a young man there named Nicolas that ask if he could help us. Everyone else was headed home but he was very polite and very helpful.
