Honestly worst customer service I've received today. Went to purchase an iMac and the guy helping us seemed so bored and annoyed about doing his job. Didn't give us much info about the product, didn't offer us apple care for the product. Usually when you purchase any Apple products you can get some kind of apple care. Nope, didn't mention anything about the product so honestly I feel like I don't know what I purchased. Had to do my own research. He didn't seem to eager to sell. i love beat buy. last year i signed up forbtech support with geek squad and a year later i'm trying to cancel my tech support membership. i's $200 for the auto renewal. The problem is, when i click on cacel my remewal , it won't let me. i have to wait 25 minute for an customer service instant messeger chat or sign up for a customer service call back. In December I went for a Oculus and person who helped me out was great and gave be the best option. Today I called for issues on a card I got from there and I accidentally had myself on mute and someone named JASON answered greeting me and I thought he could hear me. He then proceeded to repeat himself and said it rude two more times with the ugliest attitude until I could actually notice I was on mute. When I took myself off mute I told him he didn't have to be a dick about me not answering as I had myself on mute. My mom needed a screen protector for her phone that she purchased from this company. I took her phone down to the store and spoke to a team member about getting a new protector on it, but he said that he couldn't find my mom's # or name in the system. I went back home to find the receipt and then headed back to the store. In that time of me being gone I would of thought they would of looked for the screen protector because I told them I would be back in a while. Once I got back with the receipt the looked in the system and said it showed that they had two protectors. The team member looked around for about 10-15 mins and couldn't find it. Eventually a young girl came and asked me if I needed a protector case of the phone that was for my mom. I then told her yes that I was waiting, but then she came back to me saying that I would have to go to another store and she gave me 3 locations to go to or I would have to get store credit and that was the only things that she would offer me. I then told her that I wasn't going to the other locations and that they could refund my money and she said no that they would only give me store credit. I then told her, then can I speak to a Manager and she said I am a Manager. I told her I wanted someone higher and she said they are going to tell you the same thing I just told you. The good news: all staff wear gloves and masks; most are courteous. They also only allow a certain amount of customers in at a time. There is usually a long wait line outside after 12pm. The bad news, sometimes they lag really bad, only when the lines get long do they open up more registers, and by then, the inaction of only having 1-2 cashiers cause huge lines at the register. I decided to call best buy and check the availability of a product as well as gather some price matching information. I was placed on hold for 30min so I decided to come down to best buy (while on hold).. when I arrived I counted 6 associates free, talking to one another, and a phone ringing relentlessly. Again im still on hold while browsing the store. I was met with attitude and misinformation about price matching as I had become an expert on the matter after listening to the the hold music and the lovely women tell me nearly 30 times that their is a pice match policy. Don't buy online! Such a hassle trying to pick up a tv. They're taking forever to pull an order so we decide to just go and see if we can just pick it up. They say we have to cancel the order wait 3-5 business days to buy "In store". We find the tv in store and ask can we just load it ourselves and you just clear it that it's been picked up but they say no. We have to wait until they "pick" the order. I don't know how they run their retail business but I work retail too and we would be able to just let the customer pick up what they paid for! How hard is that, it's called "customer service" but I felt disserviced. Still shocked that they said cancel the order and wait 3-5 days to buy it again. It's like they want to lose money. read more

Customer service was very poor. We were made to wait to exchange an item while the four customer service ladies chatted and were leaning on the counter. The employee that finally helped us, Brianna, kept chatting about wanting to be done by 1030 all while having an attitude, assisting us. We had to ask for her name since her name tag was covered. We couldn't get the other names of the girls, but one (her name began with an A) was gossiping about going to the mountains while Brianna looked up our account. LIARS! I came in to take advantage of their Black Friday/Cyber Monday prices and upgrade my Verizon phone. I was trying to decide between two phones when I was approached by a sales associate. She said I needed to work with their Verizon representative and sent a young man over. I mentioned the prices I saw online and asked if they were available for in-store purchases. He literally just stood there looking at me for a good 10 seconds then said "Was that a question?" Um, yes. He said the pricing was available and I asked him his opinion on the two phones. He knew nothing about either phone and could only tell me that he liked one over the other, but not why. He was an Apple guy and I was looking at two Android phones. Great...I picked a phone and we sat down. We're going through the process of purchasing the phone and he starts talking to another associate about how to check their daily and weekly sales totals. A few minutes of that and he turns to me and says he can't process my order because the phone was not in stock, which we knew when before we started this whole process, but I could go online and buy it online myself. So I sat there on my phone trying to purchase the new phone. No dice... their website said that I was unable to have the phone delivered without upgrading my plan, which is already unlimited everything. He takes my phone, walks away with it and comes back saying their Verizon representative said that Verizon was having issues and I should go home and try it again later or even tomorrow. Thought he was the Verizon Rep, but whatever. I tried several more times and then called Verizon. Two separate Verizon Tech Support people said that they were not having issues and any problem was on Best Buy's end. I tried calling Best Buy back five times and reaching them via chat and was unable to reach anyone. I call BS...I feel that he was dishonest with me and either didn't know how to process my order or didn't want to process my order. Thank you Mr. Useless Sales Associate...it will be a long time, if ever that I purchase anything from Best Buy again. And people wonder why brick and mortar stores are closing... VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE AND NO COMMUNICATION. This post is intended for the Pacific Sales inside of this Best Buy. We bought brand new Samsung appliances for our entire house. After 3 months the fridge had already broken 3 times and had to call for service repair. After contacting Samsung, who provides zero customer support, and "does not have any managers who can make decisions", I called the manager Sam who we worked with at Pacific Sales, to explain our situation and that we need help because Samsung is not standing behind their products, Sam told me that Pacific Sales can only help within the 1st 30 days after purchase. After that it was our problem to deal with. There was no empathy or even an effort to say, he would talk to his samsung rep to see if he could help us get in contact with someone who can help. Basically I felt as though, Pacific Sales is happy to take your money but after 30 days, it's all your problem. I would hope and expect for better customer support at a place that we spent nearly $10k on appliances, but was sadly disappointed. I would suggest first of all to avoid Samsung appliances as the company does not stand behind their products, and if you have an issue, all I can say is "good luck". Secondly I would suggest a smaller appliance store where customer support is important, so you know if you have a problem, the company you paid for your products is there standing behind their customers. read more

I told her I didn't and not sure why anyone would show up to a store to pick up something they cancelled ?? She said she couldn't do anything about it. This post, actually has a long time coming... this should have been posted a year ago... And I will begin with this: "customer service dictates brand elevation." Inarguably Best Buy offers Electronics and Appliances that you can pretty much purchase anywhere...and they price match, just like most of the big chain competitors. However, it sets the Best Buy store in Riverside apart from other competitors and other BestBuy in general is the unique cabal of staff, and the management at the helm. Four staff members come to mind, Walter, and Matt, and two members of management...whos names will be added. I have purchased an Xbox one x, cell phones, 4K television, coffee machine, and DLR camera... and every single time, without fail the customer service was exemplary, above and beyond the norm. It is rare that you encounter Staffing with such a Humane quality they do not just answer questions, they conversate, gain your understanding, then accommodate need. Although I live closer to other BestBuy's in the Inland Empire I go a bit out of my way for the superior customer service experience. read more

It would appear he takes life a bit too seriously and clearly is angry at the world that he ended up working retail for a living. This review is for Geek Squad. While Best Buy did do a good job installing my ram, they also scratched up my completely new computer. When I brought the laptop back to them and asked them to rectify the problem, they played contractual hardball by saying "well, we're sorry that this happened, but the contract says that Best Buy is not liable for cosmetic scratches." I'd typically be fine with this, but the fact of the matter is that they completely scratched up the top of my laptop case. Even if this problem isn't something that can be easily fixed, the least they could have done is refund me my money or alternatively issue me a credit for a future service. The fact that a manager didn't bother calling me back or at least talk to me in person revealed to me that Geek Squad is amateur at best. It's simple customer service to at address your customer's concerns and find ways to rectify the situation. I will never go back to this Geek Squad again, or any Geek Squad for that matter. read more

Takes 45 minutes and no other associates are around and he comes back and says sorry about that and I say no worries it happens and he says so which Apple TV? And I say the 3rd gen again 32gig blah blah and he says oh we don't have that. But go to the register and you can order it online and it will get here before xmas sooooo I go to the damn register and they say we don't do that here go to the customer service line and we go and they straight up don't carry it. When I was at the Tyler store, I found an product that's out of stock there. So, the sales representative told me place and pay for the out of stock item at this Tyler store, to secure the item at the pick up location-Eastvale, and I can pick it up at the Eastvale store. Thus, I paid and then drove to the Eastvale store to pick up my paid item. By the time I got there within 30 minutes, the Eastvale store sold my paid item to someone else! Thus, I told them to cancel and refund me. Instead, they told me to call the main Best Buy customer services at Tel: 1-888-237-8289 for any Pacific Sales' item (Best Buy owns Pacific Sales). However, the main Best Buy customer services told me to go back to the Tyler store if I want a refund. She said they cannot cancel it for me and said I must go back to the original store to do that. This just doesn't make any sense at all. They already wasted my time to drive back and forward. What kind of joke is the customer services trying to do. All I got was this is Best Buy's policy for Pacific Sales items. Beware of place an out of stock item from one store and pick it up at another store from Best Buy! I do not shop at Best Buy very much but I recently purchased a larger microwave there because it was the exact size I was looking for. However after 6 months I have experienced some issues with this microwave and hauled this heavy unit back to the store expecting it to be returned it replace! After what seemed like an hour in line I was told that I had to contact Samsung service directly for any support that was needed on the Microwave. I then had to haul thus microwave back to my car and contact the number they gave me! Just let me say this! I would highly recommend before making a major purchase at Best Buy check out the return policies carefully! I went against my normal practice of only buying at Costco because I was looking for a particular size and am now stuck with a microwave that doesn't work well! So before buying anything from Best Buy make sure you either purchase the Best Buy in store warranty or make your purchase it at Costco. read more
