I can't say enough good things about the Tustin Market place store manager Soral, and appliance sales person Daniel. After a screwed up order with Home Depot for a Kithchenaid refrigerator that never showed up after waiting 30 days, I had ordered online with Best Buy a similar model. Just to make sure I did the order correctly, I stopped by the local Tustin Best Buy store. I was greeted at the door by Soral and showed him my order. He said the will check into it as the have discounts in store that are sometimes better than on line. He took me over to Danel, in appliances and they went through the order and were able to get me the same refrigerator and extended warranty for over $1400 less than my online Best Buy order. They were so great finding me the best deal, I wanted to hug them for saving me so much money. Looking forward to getting our new refrigerator next week. Soral also gave me his card and said if we have any issues with delivery or the refrigerator to contact him directly and he'd handle it. First time into The Market Place Best Buy. It looks JUST LIKE the BB in Irvine on Lake Forest, but the service and staff were much better. Came in to see if there were specials on DVDs, Sonos speakers, smart home products, and activity watch wear (Fitbit & Garmin). Inventory looked sparse but I was able to find a RARE Clint Eastwood western (Josey Wales) for $4 and Ghost In The Shell (Scarlett Johansson) was $10. This store is not really busy but its location is on one of the corners of The Market Place (Jamboree & the 5 freeway) so when it IS busy, there is amble parking. Access is very easy off Jamboree regardless of which direction you are coming in from. Just make a turn on El Camino, like you're going to In-N-Out, it's the 1st left turn signal AFTER the freeway exits (it comes up very fast). I feel the staff, service, product line, and inventory are sufficient enough that I will return during sales or just to look at new "toys". read more

I ordered a refrigerator on 11/9/2023. And the initial delivery was scheduled on 11/21. Then it was rescheduled to 11/25 due to the manufacturer's delay. Then again rescheduled to 12/14 for the same reason. Now I got a message about delay again to 3/5/2024. I called the BestBuy customer service for each delayed schedule and heard the same reason and confirmed the new delivery dates. Now on the occasion of the 4th delay, I have to criticize several points about my order experience at BestBuy: 1. I chose BestBuy to purchase this item among many other stores, including Home Depot, Costco, Lowe's, etc., when all of them offered same price at that time, because BestBuy's delivery date was the earliest, as I sold my current refrigerator and needed a new one ASAP. 2. I could understand there could be a manufacturer's delay, but it should be only very exceptional, and major electronic stores like BestBuy should schedule the delivery of the products as accurate as possible. However, my experience of this order just demonstrates how much BestBuy cares more about the manufacturer than customer. How could I understand when the delivery schedule changed right next day after confirmed the date, and it happened several times in a raw. How BestBuy's order system works to schedule the delivery without considering the product's availability. It's a big curiosity. 3. We can live without television, but hard to live without refrigerator. Where could we store our frozen food after sold old refrigerator based on the original delivery date of the new one, but when it's delivered 4 months later? It's not just as simple as "reschedule or cancel" when it's delayed. 4. The delivery schedule is a covenant with customer, who chose BestBuy among others, and sacrificed their chances to choose a different store who is more sincere to their promises to the customers. So BestBuy had to double confirm the product's availability before schedule the delivery to the customer. The early delivery date without any promise couldn't be a business strategy to attract customers. Otherwise it'll be a just scam. read more

I went to the Best Buy geek squad to replace my iPhone battery which has been degraded and did not last long. After they did cleaning, I was told that my phone could not be charged from the lighting port, so they could not replace the battery for me. I showed them my battery log to explain that I can do cable charge (I even charged it when I was driving on the way there). Spending an hour there, they told me nothing they can do for me, and suggested me to use wireless charge from now on. They have couple wireless charger there, but I need to pay and they cannot cover for me. I was there to expect fix an issue and then got home with another bigger issue. But just because the website says they are out of stock, doesn't really mean the store is, so we go, and the man helping my husband goes into the back to see if they have one because he believes they do. This store would not honor the Best Buy Price Match Guarantee (https://www.bestbuy.com/site/help-topics/price-match-guarantee/pcmcat290300050002.c?id=pcmcat290300050002) and insulted my intelligence by insisting to my face that the Best Buy Price Match Guarantee meant completely the opposite of what was written. The manager named Jorge refused to match Micro Center in Tustin, clearly a "local retail competitor" because the price I show was only available in-store, not online. He then refused to match a Costco price because Costco is a membership warehouse store. I was able to get the price match no problem by calling the Best Buy customer service number, so all that the store accomplished was wasting my time. The only reason I was purchasing from Best Buy and not from one of the stores with the lower prices was that I have The Best Buy Total (formerly Total Tech) membership, which I will not be renewing after this experience. read more

I placed an order through their website and chose curbside pickup as the pickup option. When I got there, I parked in the designated curbside pickup spot and entered my vehicle details after clicking "I'm here". After waiting 10 minutes, no one came out so I decided to go into the store and went to the pickup area. When I got there, I told them that I had been waiting in my car for about 10 minutes and the associate didn't even seem to know what was happening. She asked if I had the barcode so I showed her. She looked for the item and turned out the item was not even ready and they had to get a manager to figure out what the problem was. After 5 minutes in the store, they had to get my item from the back and that took an extra 5 minutes. I thought the curbside pickup option was supposed to make it more convenient and quick for the customer, but it just made it even more complicated. When I was getting ready to leave, I saw another customer come into the store and complained, saying that he had been waiting in the car for curbside pickup and no one seemed to bring their item out. My suggestion is if you can't offer curbside pickup, then don't offer it in the first place rather than offer it but can't fulfill the service!! It's completely a waste of time. Terrible,The worst ever. Bought LG stacked washer/dryer in Nov 2023, they couldn't reverse the dryer door properly. Condensation leakage stainedtop of the washer body below the dryer, nor could they get the seal tight so large amounts of lint wouldn't collect on the rubber seal. The dryer was replaced 3 times, geek squad and the installers couldnt remedy thsi seemingly simple issue. April of 2024, yes, after this many months and 8+ visits to try and fix it, I went in and asked for an exchange whcih was seemingly simple besides the waste of my time! NO, the guy didnt inlcude the door reversal as requested 3 times in his presence so teh installer wouldnt do it. Another visit by an installer remedied this one issue. Now, the idiot who did the exchange didn't do it correctly and overcharged me by over a $1,000-omg and then into the automated hell system leading to an offshore guy who i couldnt understand at all......CANNOT BELIEVE HOW INCOMPETEANT BEST BUY PEOPLE ARE FROM START TO FINISH-extremely aggravating and wasting my valuable time. Terrible service and terrible employee/employee's, ordered a PC case for pickup around 4 PM came into the store around 8 Pm and the order still wasn't ready. Mohammed was the employee helping me (wasn't helping much) he said the reason why we haven't validated pickup is because we cant find the product in the back or front because it's most likely not in stock. I asked for the manger and he didn't even bother to ring in the manager on his ear piece device to come to the front and just said I can't find the manager as he didn't even move a finger to go look for him. He later decided to move my order for pickup in Orange and I accepted it once that was over with I than decided to go look for the case around the store just to be sure they actually couldn't find it, as I was looking of course I found the case right we're all the PC cases are located it at I than went to the front to cancel my order and punched it right there and than and they didn't even bother saying sorry. Terrible experience. I purchased an ipad and asked for recommendations on a good case to protect it. The employees at this Best Buy told me to get an Otter Box and a separate very expensive glass screen protector. I listened and bought those, then I paid Geek Squad to install it. When the Geek Squad guy handed it back to me, he pointed out a bubble on the top left hand side and said that it would go away in a day. One week goes by and its still there so I go to another Best Buy location (closer to where I live) and showed them the bubble. The first thing the employee at this location said was that no one should ever install that glass screen with an Otterbox as the frame will constantly put pressure on the screen. Then he opens the case up- and the screen is cracked! The guy who installed it pushed too hard and actually cracked the screen as he was installing it. Fortunately the second Best Buy I went to had an excellent Geek Squad guy who helped me get a new set up that IS compatible. I am extremely disappointed in the 2982 El Camino Real Tustin Best Buy. While they have the right to not take it back, I find that the refund window from Best Buy is very short compared to other merchants, and their return policy is not flexible. My 60inch Plasma died so I came here to buy a 65inch TV. Robert S in sales came to help me. He was very knowledgeable and very informative. I hadn't kept up to date with the latest tech in tv but Robert S took his time explaining to me and did not rush me. There was even a customer he had helped earlier that needed him, i mentioned to him that he can help them since my transaction was going to take awhile, but insisted on finishing with me first. Outstanding service. Now for delivery & install. I had it scheduled for today Friday the 13th between 8am - Noon. Jorge C Rodriguez and Rob arrived right on time at 8am. They were very professional from the get go. Plastic covers for there shoes, so not to drag dirt in my home. They were literally done in 15minutes. From connecting all the devices, installing my earthquake straps to programming my Cox remote control to showing me how to use it these guys were outstanding. I volunteered to take the box out myself but they insisted. The Greek Squad is very lucky to have these guys. Jorge mentioned he's been there since 2001(if i remember correctly) and Rob said that the Greek Squad was built around him...I can see why. We were moving right around when the stay at home order was issued and really needed a fridge so we wouldn't have to go out for food. They told us a replacement was on back order and offered to give a credit instead which we opted for.
