My wife and son both complained about the odor, and my son later developed a headache. A few days later, another repair attempt was made when a replacement part was brought to my home unannounced. Unfortunately, it was the wrong part. I then contacted GE directly and discovered that the serial number listed in the advertisement was incorrect. Once the correct information was identified, I learned the stove was also missing two racks and required a replacement handle. I ultimately spent about $150 replacing those items.
