Because we had to wait so long for everything ( chocolate waffel but did not bring us milk, had to go find her and ask for drinks) , it was like a " Got milk" comercial nightmare. My Son had a meltdown and my wife took him to the car, and he scraped his leg really bad. I asked if they had any badaids or first aide kit, in a restaurant. And she said they did not have bandaides. So that gives you an idea of the cleanliness if they have no bandaides or first aid kit... painful experience on many levels.

I don't know if it was just embarrassment or what? Bottom line the food and service was definitely way off compared to the LAST time we were in the when the FOOD AND SERVICE was definitely 5 stars. Had this been my first time I probably would've gave them two stars but I felt because I have eaten here before and everything was wonderful. I would give them a break with an average review of 2.5 stars. honestly a far different experience than last time.

We spent Saturday night at Henry Coe State park and were hungry for breakfast on Sunday morning. We found ourselves at Betsy's (right next to the bowling alley and bocce ball league). When we arrived there was about a 15 minute wait and our group was looking for coffee. The waitstaff graciously brought us six coffees and menus while we waited outside. Once inside we were greeted by a very attentive and friendly staff. Our waitress handled our indecisive group that requested various accommodations to each meal. The supporting cast made sure we had all of our utensils and a full cup of coffee. I ordered the special fresh corned beef hash with cottage potatoes which i enjoyed. I opted to get the toast over two pancakes...so much food, I am not sure if pancakes would have fit in my belly. Other had omelets, buiscuts and gravy, and scrambles. Everyone in the party seemed more than satisfied with their order. I know that if I am back in Morgan Hill at breakfast time I will not hesitate to return to Betsy's! read more

During a recent visit to Betsy's Restaurant in Morgan Hill, CA, I brought my family, including some first-time visitors, with the hope of creating a positive experience. Unfortunately, the morning took a disheartening turn when a piece of food accidentally dirtied a salt shaker at our table. Rather than addressing the matter professionally, our server, Jenny Rogers, who is also one of the owners, made derogatory comments, such as 'Who invited these bunch of animals?' Addressing my kids and proceeded to say 'bring them out more often so they know how to act.' This unprofessional behavior not only overshadowed the initial positive aspects of our visit but also left a lasting negative impression, especially on those new to the restaurant. I had the chicken fried steak! It was amazing! Not like the pre made frozen ones it was actually the real steak and hand battered it was great. My husband had a scramble which was also great! I would have given 5 stars however their rest room situation was quite odd. Which I know they can't help but the rest room is outside around the corner that all of the public has access to. And there was a homeless person hanging outside which made me nervous because I was taking my 3 year old to the bathroom but other than that I would recommend to anyone read more

We came here some days ago after browsing through Yelp and saw their great reviews. There is a bowling center right behind it which is wonderful. I ordered eggs, bacon, hash browns and pancake for breakfast, it was perfect! Its hard to find good pancakes. Some are just too powdery or too fluffy. Their pancakes are just right. Then it came down to our main course, I threw a curve ball and got the Guachinango A la Veracruzana, a Wild Red Snapper with olives, onions capers etc. I WAS COMPLETELY SATISFIED. It was absolutely delicious. I'm craving it just talking about it now. Holy Moly. My partner got chicken enchiladas, he said they were pretty basic. So I'm giving 4 stars.
