I came here with my brother on a Monday after lunch. I wasn't planning on getting anything, but then I saw the almond croissant. When I ordered, the cashier asked me if I wanted it warmed up. I said yes, and less than a minute later, I had a warm almond croissant in hand. Up close, I realized that this was my first almond croissant with slivers instead of slices. It might seem like a small difference, but these bigger pieces added a lot more texture. The croissant was also sweeter than I expected, making me think that they use extra syrup. Overall, I was pleasantly surprised by the attention to detail, and I genuinely want to come back to try the Kouign Amann. Now, you're probably wondering why I'm giving a cafe 5 stars without even drinking their coffee... they had excellent service! My brother's drink came out within 10 minutes, but the server apologized as if it had taken much longer. We tried to reassure them that it was fine, but just in case, I'll say it again... no worries!!!

Came in with some friends for the first time. Got a nice selection of food, pastries, as well as coffee. I appreciate the coffee selection that have some options that makes it stand out from the rest of the coffee shops. Service was a bit slow, but my biggest complaint would have to be the condition of the establishment. White tickets of drink orders are scattered all at the front door and the trashcan was overflowing the entire time we were there and we sat for about 45 minutes. No one bothered to even look at the station let alone empty the trash as you can see in one of the pictures.

My most beloved better buzz that immediately became my post workout weekend treat (and a girl do deserve a treat) as soon as they opened. I like this location better than the one closer to my house because the staff here is just top notch. They always get it right. No shade but the imperial location has twice used all my rewards points and then been like "whoops I can't undo it" and its not like im going to call corporate and complain about losing my rewards but what the heck!! I also really like the outdoor seating here, the mobile pick up counter is super convenient, and the hot food and pastries have been delicious every time. And boy am I a sucker for cold foam :9 :9 :9 Also my favorite thing is to get a best drink ever. The sticker code for it is BDE. I like to peel the sticker off my drink and put it on my dog and call her the Best Dog Ever. And their pup cups come with little milk bones!

Looks like a fairly new location. Free standing building with plenty of seating. I was welcomed by multiple workers as I entered. Friendly. The time from order to receiving my drink was quick, almost too quick for a latte. =) The drink (plain hot latte made with whole milk) itself is solid...tasted a little watery tho. Good, but not great, coffee taste. Nice and hot. Will def return.

I stopped by here on my way to a hair appointment to try something new other than Starbucks. I ordered the caramel blended drink. It was incredibly sweet (just how I like it :)). The service was pretty quick for the morning which was great. The shop itself was clean and the employees were very welcoming.

*Note: TDLR at the end of the review Mint Infused Iced Coffee: 4/10 I paid for iced milk dawg. Errrrrr they deadass put a mint leaf on top of my drink and called it mint infused. Didn't taste any mint at all, just a super iced out milky latte. Service: 3/10 Money grabby af. The cashier (older dude so I think might be the owner), was nonchalant asf and gave me this weird look when I didn't order a large. He basically shooed me off after telling him my order. Also, no one calls out your order. They just leave it at the counter and you gotta check on it. Ambiance: 6/10 Plenty of tables and outlets! Came on a Sunday around 3pm and it was crowded af, but I was able to nab a table. Music is kinda loud, but I think it's a pretty decent place to study. Parking was pretty easy to find. TDLR: I would rather go to Starbucks tbh LOL. Drinks are very okay, hella fucking ice bro. Easy parking. Owner (I think) is rude and money grabby.

Stumbled upon Better Buzz on the way home and decided to stop in for an afternoon pick-me-up -- so glad I did! I'd heard the banana coffee was a must-try and it absolutely lived up to the hype. Sweet but not overdone, a natural hint of banana without any artificial taste, and the cold foam on top was fluffy and heavenly. We also tried the Cinnamon Pistachio from their new seasonal menu and that was another hit -- a perfect blend of flavors that somehow avoids that fake sweetener taste you find elsewhere. What really made the visit was the staff. Everyone was genuinely friendly and happy to share their personal favorites to help us narrow things down. That kind of enthusiasm goes a long way. We will most definitely be back!

This is the 3rd time this place has messed up our very overpriced order and I'm sad to say we will not be coming back. We ordered extra toasted avo toast... received raw bread. Then paid extra for double eggs and double meat in our croissant and got even less than usual. Then once I reached out about it they said they couldn't offer any compensation but they "understand my frustration." Don't come here if you want good quality breakfast.

This is a month old review. We want it to try this place as we pass by it many time and now they have banana flavor. We ordered drive thru so I didn't get to experience the food inside. We order the banana matcha flavor and coconut flavor latte. The drink was alright, the matcha is light in color which usually indicates lower grade matcha and the banana is lacking flavor. The coconut taste more like a vanilla latte than coconut. Drink deserve 3 stars, but we would come back to check out the food next time.

I've been wanting to try Better Buzz for a while and was eating near by so stopped by for a coffee for the drive home. This location is amazing, near the 91 freeway entrance and large, clean and very cozy to enjoy your drink alone or with friends. The menu is expansive. There is something for everyone here. I decided to start at the top with the Best Drink Ever. An Americano with their signature creamy vanilla added. Shuttle, not too sweet and coffee forward... which is always my preference. I'm here for the beans not the diabetes. The list is large of specialty drinks, so many directions you can go. Also a nice selection of teas, smoothie and even açaí bowls. So I will be back to try more. They also had some food options that looked good and a great assortment of pastries. Unfortunately I just had a large dinner so I will have to be hungry next time I drive through. The staff was well versed in the menu and provided some recommendations. They were very busy and the lobby was packed. But the staff remained chipper. I'm hoping they expand into west LA but this San Diego based chain is worth a visit if you are passing through.

Amazing service!!!! Drive through literally takes seconds for an order to be completed. I tried the chocolate croissant and it's just heaven!!!! Crispy and lots of chocolate!!! I didn't realize how early they open WOW!! I was going to say I wished they were open a little later in the evening. Ok, let's start by saying the first time I was introduced to Better Buzz was when I was on a weekend getaway to San Diego. We'd only visit Better Buzz when we traveled down south. I was so happy to find out in January they opened one "in my own backyard" (that's an amazing podcast series, go listen to it). My friend and I, or only I have been to this location many times. I love it! There's plenty of parking for both your cars and your bodies. The space it huge, but can get very very crowded. They play all sorts of amazing music. Sometimes I catch myself having a singalong, much to the chagrin of my neighbors. There are two very clean bathroom. You need a code to get in. The service is great. Even at the drive-thru. Everyone has always been so welcoming. They even gave me free stickers once. The coffee has always been so yummy. I ALWAYS get the Snickerdoodle Latte. It's yummy. Once in the drive-thru, I accidentally ordered a Horchata Latte (get those at Tierra Mia). I didn't really care for that. I thought it was just ok. BUT that was my mistake. I'm not a big pastry fan. So I haven't ordered pastries. I've orders a turkey pesto sandwich, it's good . I just don't like to order sandwiches when I can make them at home. I've gotten two of their bowls and they are HUGE! Get them to go. Once I ordered one I couldn't finish. I had to throw it out because I wasn't going home. I had NO idea how big it was going to be. I regretted throwing it away, but I couldn't take it with me. read more

Stopped by Better Buzz for a quick coffee and snack. The matcha latte was smooth and not overly sweet, which I appreciated. The coffee was solid too--rich but easy to drink. The chocolate loaf was dense and a bit fudgy, perfect with the coffee. Overall a nice, relaxed spot to sit for a bit and recharge. read more

Came at 5:30am on a Sunday. Door was locked, but they were so sweet and apologetic. It's neat that they have a drive-thru and that they're open so early daily. Large space with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. They have merch and right now they have ube drinks. I ordered the hot pocket with was delicious and filling. The ube coldbrew, no adjustments. I'm very particular about ube flavoring. It tasted a bit tart but not terrible. Not my favorite ube drink, but I've had worse. In any case, I like the ambiance and convenience of Better Buzz Coffee. The homie thought he put me on, and he did fr. Came here for their new summer line up, and we were able to try the Coconut Matcha, Coconut "best drink ever" (kinda crazy for a name), and the Tropical Buzz. We also had their OG Deluxe Acai Bowl. The space is huge, and it was very crowded which is always a good sign. Staff was very friendly, everyone was so welcoming. The coffee was solid, I'm not a big coconut guy (just big) but honestly I didn't mind the coconut matcha, nothing was too overpowering and it tasted refreshing. If I had to rank them it'd be the Coco Matcha, Tropical Buzz, Coco best drink ever. The Acai Bowl was also good, full of flavor and did not feel too heavy. They had indoor and outdoor seating, inside was packed out and they have pretty comfortable seating outside too in case you want to catch a cool breeze. Solid place to meet up and have some coffee, might be too distracting for work or study sessions but can definitely do that here too. read more

I had such a great experience at Better Buzz! Ryan helped me out and recommended the Moroccan Spice Latte after I told him I love chai and horchata. He described it perfectly; warm notes of nutmeg and unique spices I've never even heard of, all blended together into something absolutely delicious. The staff here are so kind! Liz was also super sweet! :) We chatted it up after she gave me my coffee, and it really made the visit feel even more welcoming. The cafe itself is definitely my new study spot. There are plenty of outlets, lots of seating, and the vibe is immaculate, I could stay here for hours!! On a hot summer day, it was so nice to walk into a cool, cozy space that made me want to grab my laptop and settle in. This place is magical especially after a long day of Christmas shopping. The staff were friendly and helped me order. We got the Horchata iced Latte, the Hazelnut Divinity and the Mocha de Mexico. I love better buzz!! My favs are the horchata iced latte, only dairy free coffee selection. The rice milk is perfect to taste! I also love their seasonal drinks and any best drink ever. The breakfast also has gluten free options, very versatile and delicious! Service is always quick and efficient I haven't had any issues with their pickup, drive thru, or in store lines. This place is popping! I stopped by this coffee shop to get some food, coffee, and work done. Staff seemed friendly and polite as they yell out in unison "welcome in" for customers. I also saw one staff dedicated to clean each table as soon as customers left, something that is lacking in many cafe establishments. The line to order was not decreasing so I just sat down and opted for online order. I got their limited time Ube Cold Brew and also got their Better Breakfast. Ube Cold Brew was disappointing for me because it tasted like berries and tasted nothing like ube. The drink was sour and tart, not sure if from the coffee itself or the ube cream/syrup. At first, I thought I received the wrong order. Better Breakfast was good but didn't seem that special for me despite it having the cafe's name. The garlic aioli was light and I didn't really taste much of it, making the sandwich a bit bland. Overall experience this time around was lackluster but I'm definitely going to revisit to try their other coffee and sandwiches. Awesome place to study; it is clean with plenty of seating, outlet, and wifi. read more

Stopped by Better Buzz in Fullerton after a funny encounter with Fullerton PD, the officer gave me a $10 gift card because I was "nice," which was a first for me! I ordered the Better Breakfast Sandwich and substituted the bacon for avocado. It came out to about $11 and was fresh, filling, and really hit the spot. The flavors were solid and it felt like a good quality breakfast option. The only downside was the parking situation, which felt a bit disorganized and made stopping in slightly less convenient. Other than that, it was a positive experience overall, and I'd definitely come back. read more

Truly a great shop! It's so nice when employees get to know their customers. My hubby and I sometimes have gone weeks without going maybe even like a three month period and the manager, Ryan, immediately recognized us and asked where we had been. And they always greet you the moment you walk in and out the door as well. Customer service is top notch! And honestly I've never had any issues with any order. If I had anything negative to say it would just be that the music can be a little bit loud sometimes on the weekend afternoon but it's not to where it would stop me from visiting. I haven't had better buzz since my trips to San Diego about 5 years ago. Sadly, I remembered why I stopped going there. The drinks taste super watery immediately from the first sip... I got the "best drink ever" peppermint holidays version half sweet and it was still really sweet 5 stars go to the workers service and friendliness. I used the drive thru around 11:30 on opening day and it took about 15 min which wasn't too bad as it looked super busy. read more

Had the most wonderful experience at this location, major thanks and shout out to Christa for providing amazing customer service!! She was so friendly and kind! I got an iced mocha half sweet (this was my favorite drink to get at Better Buzz when I went to school in San Diego), but the reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that the drink wasn't as good as I remember it being :/ It could be that I haven't had Better Buzz in a couple years and my taste buds when it comes to coffee has definitely been sharpened LOL. Nevertheless, I would love to try a regular cappuccino next time to really taste the espresso. The mocha was more of a nostalgic drink. The space is very big and nice for working. Clean restrooms too :) would return for sure. Also they had the cutest free Christmas themed Better Buzz stickers and I am obsessed. read more

We stopped by yesterday morning and had an amazing experience thanks to Ryan, the general manager. He was personally working the drive-through, incredibly patient, and took the time to explain the drinks to us. He even offered us a complimentary drink, which was such a kind gesture. What stood out most was his attitude--he was upbeat, friendly, and clearly a team player, jumping in wherever needed. The whole atmosphere felt welcoming and positive because of him. Today was the 3rd time IN A ROW they forget my Cinnamon Cold Foam. TODAY was also the last time I come here. It's become ridiculous bcuz out of the row of drinks, everyone else has cold Foam except mine. I paid attention today. In the past I've had to get out of my car & go inside to inform them. Today I informed the drive thru windows cashier gal that I was missing my cold foam before even being handed the drink... She takes a look, tells the baristas. So what they do to correct it is remove HALF of the shots of expresso to accommodate the cold foam. In turn, I lose out on my expresso which is what I need!!! Absolutely gave them 3 times in a row (thinking it was an off day or something) to finally say I'm finding another local shop to get my caffeine from. UNACCEPTABLE... & when I informed the gal at the cashiers window that this is the 3rd time in a row... she's says to me, "OH it's bcuz you ordered the Horchata Latte"... HOW?!? This is a nice trendy coffee shop, but it didn't really make a huge impression. I mobile ordered my drink, and I felt like it took forever, luckily I wasn't in a rush. I thought my hazelnut latte was just okay and it's really cold inside. The only open seats were on a hard wooden booth-style bench and I was not comfortable. I've heard this place be hyped up so much and I would probably continue to visit other coffee shops before returning. read more

After seeing the lines. I decided to give them a try, and my go to drink was a chai tea latte and an almond croissant. I went inside and ordered. It's a nice restaurant with lots of seating. I wasn't impressed with the drink or the crescent. The crescent wasn't baked there. It might have been from the day before. I did get there just after they opened. The chai tea was average. I like to try new places so I went here today. This used to be a Carl's Jr. so it wasn't improvement from the beginning. I love lattes so I wanted to try it. I asked for a latte with half-and-half with one Splenda in it when I got the drink the girl said latte for me. She also comments that we don't put package sweeteners in our drinks. It's over there on the counter. Well, I've gone to other coffee shops and they've done this for me, Bodie leaf Golden State, etc. no problem there but I guess they don't do that here why I don't know. let's just say great lattes are great so so lattes are so so. Went to better buzz coffee in Fullerton and it was my first time there. It was actually really good! It's not your slow time cafe, it had the ambiance of a fast food place, with the drive thru and I'm pretty sure it was a fast food restaurant turned coffee shop but inside is nice and modern, great food, coffee and smoothie options and you don't feel rushed to order eat and leave, a lot of people were there with their laptops to work or study or meet up with people! Stopped by to share a Better Buzz experience with my sister, who is visiting from out of town. I knew taking her thru the drive-thru would be a big mistake. I didn't want to hold up the line while she tried to make a decision. So, we went inside and just as I thought, she was a bit overwhelmed. So many good options. We ordered our drinks, and while we waited I shared with her some of my favs, and the Avocado Toast is my hands down favorite. You can add bacon or egg if you want, but the bread, avocado,cherry tomatoes,feta cheese, microgreens and balsamic vinegar is so good, I advise you not try to eat this while driving. The manager overheard our conversation and gave us a complimentary one on him. My sister might try to have me express ship her one to Sacremento. Very cool place to study or work as well. Like, creamy, perfectly spiced, and not overly sweet -- it actually tastes like they put some love into it instead of just dumping cinnamon into milk. You know when a drink just hits the spot? That's this one. The vibe here is super chill, too -- kind of that "local favorite meets trendy coffee spot" energy. You walk in, and it's all good music, good lighting, and people either catching up with friends or deep in laptop mode. The employees are friendly and are always happy to help regardless of the request. The baristas prioritize in-person orders. On multiple occasions, I've ordered 10-15 minutes before arriving and end up getting my drinks after customers who I see ordering in person. Pro tip: if you're in a rush, don't do a mobile order.

Hello everyone, I apologize for my absence and lack of reviews, but work has taken me abroad where I believe Yelp should consider expanding... but that's a topic for another review. My daughter directed my attention to a new coffee establishment, Better Buz Coffee (BB) which she recommended I visit. If you are not familiar with me, I am quite the coffee enthusiast, which is why I find myself in the mountains of El Salvador . Upon my arrival at the Fullerton, CA location, I noticed there is plenty of parking available, leaving no reason for you not to visit... so stop making excuses and come on over. My initial impression of the coffee shop was simply amazing! It has a spacious, bright, and casual ambiance . I approached the counter to find a diverse menu of items that, if it weren't for my commitment to maintaining my figure, I would have indulged in... so don't let that deter you from trying everything. Today, I opted to sample their coffee, but since I arrived in the late afternoon during a bit of a rush, I decided not to trouble the BB staff too much, especially on my first visit. Fortunately, Alicia greeted me with a warm smile and was both knowledgeable and courteous while taking my order. I chose a drip coffee, as BB does not offer pour-overs, but that's not a drawback when it comes to getting your caffeine fix. The coffee was delivered promptly and tasted an impressive 8 out of 10. To summarize, since this is my first review, I will certainly return to BB, and next time I plan to provide a comprehensive review of the various blends they offer and see if I can persuade them to prepare a pour-over for my discerning palate. I don't often leave a review for a place but this Better Buzz location delivered EXCEPTIONAL hospitality during a morning rush on Memorial Day. My family and I have been going through a tough weekend jumping from hotel to hotel during this evacuation in Garden Grove. We planned to hang out at this location until it was time for our check in to the next hotel. When I arrived, I immediately was approached with a warm welcome by one of the employees and immediately took my order and made recommendations. The General Manager, Ryan, was very composed during a high velocity hour where many customers were standing and waiting for their orders. But, Ryan thanked each one and make sure they had everything needed and addressed each customer by name. Ryan is a great leader of this location and I could tell his team fully embraces their culture because despite of the high velocity everybody was working with a big smile! The staff member repeatedly claimed they could not understand my order, creating an unnecessarily difficult interaction. Most egregiously, the employee resorted to making racist comments, directly asking if I was Chinese and displaying blatant discriminatory behavior. The restaurant's interior design cannot compensate for the deeply unprofessional and offensive treatment I experienced. Such behavior is entirely unacceptable in any customer service setting. Unsure of what to order, I was recommended the 'Best Ever' coffee with cinnamon cream--and it truly lived up to its name. I just hope they reconsider the default tip suggestions. I think that small change would make the experience as enjoyable at the register as it is everywhere else.
