They had a selection of pastries that looked delicious, including pistachio croissants, danishes, and other pastries, although we didn't end up trying any of them. The drinks menu had a lot of unique options that all sounded great, which made it difficult to choose. Unfortunately, the service took away from the experience. We were the only customers ordering at the time, and since there were five of us trying to decide on our drinks, it naturally took a few minutes. The employee taking our order repeatedly asked if we were ready and seemed very rushed, which made us feel pressured to hurry up instead of enjoying the ordering process. I've worked in fast food and restaurants before, so I understand that customer service can be challenging, but being welcoming and patient goes a long way. A little more friendliness would have made a big difference. As for the drinks, they were good overall. I ordered the honey latte and really enjoyed the flavor. My only note is that I got it with whole milk, and the milk had a slightly funky, almost cheesy aftertaste that I wasn't expecting. I'm not sure what caused it, but it was noticeable. Overall, Coco Bloom has a great location, cute drinks, and pastries that look promising. I would gladly return, but I do think the customer service could use some improvement. With a more welcoming experience, this easily could have been a 5-star visit.

Nope, he proceeded to hand the shot to the person steaming the milk, who filled up the cup (again, not cortado sized) with milk, and called my name. In hindsight, I should have said something, but gave him the benefit of the doubt. The drink tasted like straight hot oat milk. To make it worse, this drink was being sold for $7.50. I'm very impressed by the biscuits and gravy. Some of the best gravy i've ever had. Very flavorful. Plus the Biscuits had a beautiful crisp on the edges so they never got soggy. One detail I admired was the chilled water glasses instead of using ice. This just leveled the experience up a few notches. Parking was definitely busy, cars are always pulling in and out, it can be hard to navigate the small parking lot with big vehicles, trucks! Atmosphere was pleasant, you get the nice breeze from the coast line. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Plan to wait in line around 30 minutes or so just to be safe, and plan for 5 to 10 minutes while you navigate the parking lot. Food was really good to be honest, we did enjoyed our meals, their coffees, and lattes! Definitely a worthwhile visit of you find yourself here around Dana Point!
