My husband liked his club sandwich very much and the clam chowder was the best I've had in years. Staff was friendly and fun.

Place is what you'd hope for. Just off the main road. Great Customer service and great diner food. I enjoyed warmed Apple pie with excellent vanilla ice cream. So I went back for breakfast. Unfortunately, the cook was unable to fulfill our order specifications for extra crispy has browns and well done, very dark sour dough toast. Our impression was that the cook prepared the food just as usual. The hash browns were not even cooked through in the center. The toast was only toasted on one side, and not even brown. Finally, there was an unpleasant taste on the exterior part of the omelette, like residual from an uncleaned grill. A shame, really, because this place has a long history and a 1950s decor that is really welcoming. I can't comment on any of their meat dishes because we didn't try any. Not sure we will be returning. read more

This is a cute diner. Pretty tight space wise on the inside but the food was delicious! I had French toast and bacon, and they gave me enough food for at least 2 people. They don't skimp on portion sizes at all! I also order sweet potato fries and these were the best sweet potato fries I have had anywhere. All the food was fresh and made to order. Betty's is a classic small town roadside diner. The kind of place the locals come in, say "good morning", sit down and their food comes out without even having to order. Not much to the inside other than some retro knick knacks. Whole dining room probably couldn't hold more than 25 people so it's an intimate setting for sure. Beautiful view of Polson Bay and the surrounding Mountains out the front windows for you to enjoy while dining. I got the BBQ Bacon Burger which was actually pretty good. The burger patties were hand formed, and had a great flavor. Plate presentation was also pretty good for a little diner. All of the potions seemed large which the rest of my hungry group appreciated. Overall, left with a good impression and would definitely stop back in my next trip up to Polson! read more

Service is excellent. All the servers wear nametags that read "Betty." 60s diner atmosphere is fun. The good part of this review is over. I've mulled this over for a few hours, trying to figure out why the reviews are generally so positive. The locals seem to love this place. The parking lot is full of local license plates (15- Lake County). The iced tea was pretty good. It helped wash down the food. The fish and chips were mealy, both the French fries and the fish tasted like frozen, packaged grocery store products. The chewy textures were the same. The tartar sauce was inedible. Cole slaw was not good either. Did I mention that the iced tea was good? read more

Great place to eat with a great view of the lake. Their grilled cheese sandwich is really good, along with all their burgers that they have. Great service, they are friendly with customers. It's a great location since they are across from the lake. I recommend going their if you haven't already. read more

This place is extremely dirty. The floors look like they have never been cleaned, dried up food and unidentifiable goop below the table. The waitress mopped down the table with a visibly dirty old rag for us.. this place is in no way complying with COVID safety sanitation or for that matter just general dining establishment cleanliness. The food was gross and I'm just praying I don't die from whatever back of the house food safety standards they hold. read more

Love this place because they have a Gluten Free Menu. I normal would call a order in for lunch and have 1/2 for lunch and 1/2 for dinner. I called in my order on Friday around 12:30, the person who answered the phone asked me to hold and just put the phone down, I heard all the conversations going on even how the waitress wasn't feeling well and then they hung up the phone. So I called back again and again phone put down again listing to the waitress about the schedule. Finally she pick the phone up and I ask to place a order to go and she tells me not to call Betty's between 11 and 2 to place a To Go order because there is only 3 of them working and they are too busy to take To Go orders. I did ask for the manager to call me and I haven't heard anything back from them. I did l finally get my lunch from them. Hamburger not done all the way and fries where cold. First time I have had a bad meal here. Makes me sad. I won't be back. read more

We eat here at least once a month since we're locals. We absolutely love it. The service is always fast and the food is great. My husband and son rave about the Bryce Buster burger and my favorite is the club sandwich. They have a good gluten free menu which is a blessing because one of our kiddos has celiac. Their owner has celiac also so they are very accommodating. My daughter raves about the GF bread they use and her favorite breakfast item is their gluten free French toast. They have some outdoor seating which is lovely in the summer. It's a great place to eat with your family if you're looking for delicious diner food. read more

We ordered a take out from here on a few occasions and always had a great service. They'd customize your order if you'd like and are pretty quick on turnaround time. I really love their blue cheese burger - it's super tasty and seem to have just the right amount of blue cheese and hot wing sauce. My husband really enjoys their Uncle Betty burger - it is their bigger burger but you can always add extra meat patties to any of their burgers. The sweet potato fries are ridiculously good so highly recommend you add those! Will definitely be back for more! read more

Came over to Betty's since Cherries was closed during posted open hours...... Pretty much every table with people was without food. Thats ok, I got all day I guess. After about 20mins the waitress takes our food order, not drink order...no waters given upon greeting. Before getting our food I ordered a malt. Well after finished eating and bill was sitting in front of me- still no malt.... Malt finally came about 20mins after eating....not comp'd. I don't blame the waitstaff. My friend and I stopped in after a long drive, and had the most pleasant time eating there. The food was excellent, the menu was fun, the atmosphere kitschy in the best way and our dear server Haley really topped it off:). My blt was completely burnt and unedible. I asked for a fork for my salad and never got it. Ate my salad with my fingers.. she walked by several times never asked how we were or if everything was ok. The burnt toast may be the cooks fault but the waitress shouldn't take burnt food to customers. read more

Excellent breakfast/brunch today! Stopped in before hitting the art show in the park and really enjoyed our meal. There's beer and wine for any day drinkers, including $4 mimosas, which were pretty tasty. I ordered the Breakfast Meat & Eggs and tried their "smash browns", which are described as 1/2 mashed potatoes and 1/2 hash browns, but really are more like grilled mashed potatoes. They're delicious!! My eggs were perfectly cooked (over easy), and the bacon was thick cut, and yummy. I had a bite of my cousin's chicken fried steak, and it was pretty tasty. The gravy was really good! With tasty coffee, sweet 50s decor, and a sunny patio, what's not to like? Will be back! read more
