I love exploring and discovering South Florida's diversely delicious food trucks. Our stop was at Between Two Buns and WoW they did not disappoint. A delightful setup in a strip mall parking lot (Firestone), the friendly and exuberant guys that are the burger making dream team will greet you with their smiles and specials. This is all about the ultimate Smash Burger and these guys pile on their beef and don't scare away from the toppings. Their Miami Smash is a must try layered with lettuce, tomatoes, cheese and maduros which are sweet plantains. Yes yes & Yesss it was just as good as it looked on the menu. Don't omit the maduros just go for it. We also tried their Bang chicken fries - fully loaded with their crispy chicken and the fries are nice, thin and crunchy. The burgers here are amazing! Service was amazing the guys are very friendly and they won't steer you wrong on your choices. I had the chicken smash which they did warn me it was their biggest burger but OMG was it worth it. Not really sure how I finished it but it was absolutely delicious. This place is great! I tried their Island burger and dean say I a mi favorite burger of 2025! The burger itself comes with cheese, pineapples, jalapeños and bbq sauce in just the right proportions to make it perfect! Come with me to Between Two Buns, a food truck located in Country Walk. If you are looking for a great deal on sliders, they are the food truck to visit on Tuesdays. They have Sliders at $2.50/ each. I ordered 12 sliders for my family, and they were good. I also ordered their Loaded Smash Fries, different from other Smash fries I've tried before. They come with Maduros (sweet plantains) combined with the meat, an interesting twist. The service quality was excellent, and we were greeted very nicely by Viviana at the window. She very well explained the deals and the menu. Overall, I did like Between Two Buns. The only opportunity I found was that the meat was a bit dry on the sliders. Next time, I will order one of their smash burgers to see if that makes a difference. read more

My husband had been hyping up this burger spot, so I finally gave in and went--and I'm so glad I did. I was genuinely impressed. It ended up being one of the best smash burgers I've had in a long time. The sauce was incredible, the burgers were super satisfying, and the Oreo shake? Easily one of the best I've tried--packed with Oreos instead of just a few scattered pieces. I was so pleasantly surprised that I had to leave a review. First time at Between Two Buns and I'm already a fan. JP, the owner, is passionate about his food and it shows. I had the bacon burger -- juicy, perfectly cooked, and full of flavor. My wife had the chicken sandwich and loved it -- the chicken was super juicy and seasoned just right. Fries were crispy, and the queso frito on the side was next-level good. I ate here las night and the burger I had was beyond delicious. It has the right amount of taste with a great sauce that put all together. The service was excellent, they even asked me how I liked my egg in the burger. Yes that is right, you can add an egg, bacon and more to your burger. This is not your typical smash burger, it's a smash burger with a flattened sweet maduro/plantain between two buns with two grilled patties, a slice of cheese,a delicious house-made sauce that can be compared to In & Outs animal style sauce and papitas, which combined all together gives you what should be the city of Miami's official representative burger. First off let me start off by saying it's great to see a small business and the actual owner working there. Hard to find people so he's short handed and has to work almost every station. I see some people whining about who long it takes. Try opening your eyes and noticing there's only 2 people sometimes. You should understand why instead of whining in a review. Or even better, ya'll prolly know some high school graduate that needs a part time job. Recommend them to go there. 2nd I saw a review where the person was saying the door looked dirty or the cabinet in the bathroom was loose. Nothing about the food. Personally I don't go to restaurants and whine about the door. I'm not eating the door. The food is INCREDIBLE. The man hustles and does a great job. Next time focus on the food people instead of crying about it being slow when he's short handed or the condition of the bottom of the door with shoe mark. Clearly those people whining have never worked or ran their own shop. It's the same people who complain about a McDonald's employee. What's the point. They work at McDonald's, not quite college grads. So yes the burger is incredible the owner is cool and every time I've gone it's clean. read more

My first time trying a smash burger, I loved it! My friend recommended 'between two buns' recently, so from seeing so many IG posts, I just had to make the trip! Its a food truck located in a Kendal parking lot, but very comfortable as they have a tent w/ chairs and tables. You basically order at the counter and they bring you the food to the table. Wait time was about 10 minutes (very reasonable). The menu consists of smash burgers, chicken sandwiches, sliders, smash fries, and basic fries & soft drinks. On Tuesdays they have Sliders priced at $2.50, so it's a great deal. Staff is nice & welcoming, I would def visit again. read more

Ok, so i tried this place due to the close proximity to my home & the great reviews....and i must say, the reviews are on point!!!! The customer service was fantastic . Very friendly & communicative .... The food was very good! . So good, i had to go back for more! The setting is behind the chevron on SW 120th..... there are tables and chairs for you to eat and it looks quite cozy....i had the Miami smash....which was my fave!! The smash ingredients blended well together ... i did try the chicken smash also, which was fantastic..... but i must say.....i could not eat it all....it was so much food to enjoy (but i tried!!). I am lucky to have a place like this nearby.....cuz i will definitely be back for more! read more

JP is awesome, the humblest food truck guy I have ever met. I recently ordered for the first time and enjoyed a queso frito with Guava sauce, awesome appetizer, cooked perfectly. I tried the Chicken Smash with the maduro and the maduro really does make a difference. They forgot to add the bacon but that sandwich didn't need it. 11 out of 10. 2 days later i went back and my man added double bacon to my sandwich and told me it wouldn't happen again, i wasn't even upset.
